2 Crónicas 30
1 Ezequías envió [aviso] por todo Israel y Judá, y también escribió cartas a Efraín y a Manasés para que fueran a Jerusalén, a la Casa de Yavé a celebrar la Pascua de Yavé ʼElohim de Israel.
And Hezekiah sent to all Israel and Judah, and wrote letters also to Ephraim and Manasseh, that they should come to the house of the LORD at Jerusalem, to keep the passover to the LORD God of Israel.
2 El rey tomó consejo con sus jefes y toda la congregación en Jerusalén para celebrar la Pascua el mes segundo,
For the king had taken counsel, and his princes, and all the congregation in Jerusalem, to keep the passover in the second month.
3 porque no la pudieron celebrar a su debido tiempo, pues no había suficientes sacerdotes santificados, ni el pueblo pudo reunirse en Jerusalén.
For they could not keep it at that time, because the priests had not sanctified themselves sufficiently, neither had the people assembled themselves at Jerusalem.
4 Esto les pareció bien al rey y a la congregación.
And the thing pleased the king and all the congregation.
5 Resolvieron hacer una proclama por todo Israel, desde Beerseba hasta Dan, para que fueran a celebrar en Jerusalén la Pascua de Yavé el ʼElohim de Israel, porque en mucho tiempo no la habían celebrado como estaba escrito.
So they established a decree to make proclamation throughout all Israel, from Beer-sheba even to Dan, that they should come to keep the passover to the LORD God of Israel at Jerusalem: for they had not done [it] of a long [time in the manner] as it was written.
6 Los mensajeros recorrieron todo Israel y Judá. Llevaban las cartas del rey y sus magistrados. Proclamaron como mandó el rey: Hijos de Israel, regresen a Yavé, al ʼElohim de Abraham, Isaac e Israel. Y Él se volverá al remanente que quedó de la mano de los reyes de Asiria.
So the posts went with the letters from the king and his princes throughout all Israel and Judah, and according to the commandment of the king, saying, Ye children of Israel, turn again to the LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, and he will return to the remnant of you that have escaped from the hand of the kings of Assyria.
7 No sean como sus antepasados y como sus hermanos que fueron infieles a Yavé ʼElohim de sus antepasados, Quien los entregó a desolación, como ustedes ven.
And be not ye like your fathers, and like your brethren, who trespassed against the LORD God of their fathers, [who] therefore gave them up to desolation, as ye see.
8 Ahora pues, no sean indómitos como sus antepasados. Sométanse a Yavé y vengan a su Santuario que Él santificó para siempre. Sirvan a Yavé su ʼElohim, y el ardor de su ira se apartará de ustedes.
Now be ye not stiff-necked, as your fathers [were], [but] yield yourselves to the LORD, and enter into his sanctuary, which he hath sanctified for ever: and serve the LORD your God, that the fierceness of his wrath may turn away from you.
9 Porque si regresan a Yavé, sus hermanos e hijos hallarán misericordia ante sus captores y regresarán a esta tierra. Yavé su ʼElohim es clemente y misericordioso. Si regresan a Él, no apartará de ustedes su Presencia.
For if ye turn again to the LORD, your brethren and your children [will find] compassion before them that lead them captive, so that they will return into this land: for the LORD your God [is] gracious and merciful, and will not turn away [his] face from you, if ye return to him.
10 Los mensajeros pasaron de ciudad en ciudad por la tierra de Efraín y Manasés, hasta la región de Zabulón, pero se reían y se burlaban de ellos.
So the posts passed from city to city through the country of Ephraim and Manasseh even to Zebulun: but they laughed them to scorn, and mocked them.
11 Sin embargo, algunos hombres de Aser, Manasés y Zabulón se humillaron y fueron a Jerusalén.
Nevertheless, divers of Asher and Manasseh and of Zebulun humbled themselves, and came to Jerusalem.
12 La mano de ʼElohim también estuvo en Judá para darles un corazón dispuesto a cumplir el mensaje del rey y los magistrados, según la Palabra de Yavé.
Also in Judah the hand of God was to give them one heart to do the commandment of the king and of the princes, by the word of the LORD.
13 Una congregación muy grande se reunió en Jerusalén para celebrar la fiesta solemne de los Panes sin Levadura el mes segundo.
And there assembled at Jerusalem many people to keep the feast of unleavened bread in the second month, a very great congregation.
14 Se levantaron y quitaron los altares que había en Jerusalén. Quitaron también todos los altares donde se quemaba incienso y los echaron al torrente Cedrón.
And they arose and took away the altars that [were] in Jerusalem, and all the altars for incense they took away, and cast [them] into the brook Kidron.
15 Sacrificaron la pascua el 14 del mes segundo. Los sacerdotes y los levitas que aún estaban impuros, se avergonzaron y se santificaron. Llevaron holocaustos a la Casa de Yavé.
Then they killed the passover on the fourteenth [day] of the second month: and the priests and the Levites were ashamed, and sanctified themselves, and brought in the burnt-offerings into the house of the LORD.
16 Ocuparon su lugar en los turnos de costumbre, según la Ley de Moisés, esclavo de ʼElohim. Los sacerdotes rociaban la sangre que recibían de manos de los levitas,
And they stood in their place after their manner, according to the law of Moses the man of God: the priests sprinkled the blood, [which they received] from the hand of the Levites.
17 porque había muchos no santificados en la congregación. Por eso los levitas degollaban el cordero pascual por los que estaban impuros, a fin de santificarlos para Yavé.
For [there were] many in the congregation that were not sanctified: therefore the Levites had the charge of the killing of the passovers for every one [that was] not clean, to sanctify [them] to the LORD.
18 Sin embargo había en la congregación muchos de Efraín, Manasés, Isacar y Zabulón que no se purificaron. No obstante comieron la pascua sin guardar lo prescrito.
For a multitude of the people, [even] many of Ephraim, and Manasseh, Issachar, and Zebulun, had not cleansed themselves, yet they ate the passover otherwise than it was written. But Hezekiah prayed for them, saying, The good LORD pardon every one,
19 Pero Ezequías oró por ellos: Yavé, Quien es bueno, haga sacrificio que apacigua por todo aquel que dispuso su corazón para buscar a Yavé el ʼElohim de sus antepasados, aunque no lo haga según la norma de purificación del Santuario.
[That] prepareth his heart to seek God, the LORD God of his fathers, though [he is] not [cleansed] according to the purification of the sanctuary.
20 Yavé escuchó a Ezequías y sanó al pueblo.
And the LORD hearkened to Hezekiah, and healed the people.
21 Los hijos de Israel que estaban presentes en Jerusalén celebraron la solemnidad de los Panes sin Levadura con gran alegría durante siete días. Los levitas y los sacerdotes alababan a Yavé día tras día y cantaban a Yavé con instrumentos resonantes.
And the children of Israel [that were] present at Jerusalem kept the feast of unleavened bread seven days with great gladness: and the Levites and the priests praised the LORD day by day, [singing] with loud instruments to the LORD.
22 Ezequías habló al corazón de todos los levitas que mostraron tener buen entendimiento en el servicio de Yavé. Comieron de lo sacrificado en la fiesta solemne durante siete días, ofrecieron sacrificios de paz y dieron gracias a Yavé el ʼElohim de sus antepasados.
And Hezekiah spoke comfortably to all the Levites that taught the good knowledge of the LORD: and they ate throughout the feast seven days, offering peace-offerings, and making confession to the LORD God of their fathers.
23 Toda la congregación decidió que se celebrara otros siete días. La celebraron otros siete días con gran júbilo
And the whole assembly took counsel to keep other seven days: and they kept [other] seven days with gladness.
24 porque Ezequías, rey de Judá, ofreció a la congregación 1.000 becerros y 7.000 ovejas. Los jefes ofrecieron a la congregación 1.000 becerros y 10.000 ovejas. Gran número de sacerdotes ya se habían santificado.
For Hezekiah king of Judah gave to the congregation a thousand bullocks and seven thousand sheep; and the princes gave to the congregation a thousand bullocks and ten thousand sheep: and a great number of priests sanctified themselves.
25 Toda la congregación de Judá se regocijó, y también los sacerdotes, los levitas, y toda la gente que llegó de Israel, tanto los peregrinos procedentes de la tierra de Israel como los residentes de Judá.
And all the congregation of Judah, with the priests and the Levites, and all the congregation that came out of Israel, and the strangers that came from the land of Israel, and that dwelt in Judah, rejoiced.
26 Hubo gran alegría en Jerusalén, pues desde los días de Salomón, hijo de David, rey de Israel, no hubo algo semejante en Jerusalén.
So there was great joy in Jerusalem: for since the time of Solomon the son of David king of Israel [there was] not the like in Jerusalem.
27 Después los sacerdotes y los levitas se levantaron y bendijeron al pueblo. Fue escuchada su voz. Su oración llegó hasta la morada de su Santuario en el cielo.
Then the priests the Levites arose and blessed the people: and their voice was heard, and their prayer ascended to his holy dwelling-place, [even] to heaven.
