2 Crónicas 26
1 Entonces todo el pueblo de Judá tomó a Uzías, que tenía 16 años, y lo proclamaron rey en lugar de su padre Amasías.
And they took all [the] people of Judah Uzziah and he [was] a son of six-teen year[s] and they made king him in place of father his Amaziah.
2 Él reconstruyó Eilat y la restituyó a Judá, después que el rey reposó con sus antepasados.
He he built Elath and he restored it to Judah after lay down the king with ancestors his.
3 Uzías tenía 16 años cuando comenzó a reinar, y reinó 52 años en Jerusalén. El nombre de su madre fue Jecolías de Jerusalén.
[was] a son of Six-teen year[s] Uzziah when became king he and fifty and two year[s] he reigned in Jerusalem and [the] name of mother his ([was] Jecholiah *Q(K)*) from Jerusalem.
4 Hizo lo recto ante Yavé, según todo lo que hizo su padre Amasías.
And he did the right in [the] eyes of Yahweh according to all that he had done Amaziah father his.
5 Persistió en buscar a ʼElohim en el tiempo de Zacarías, entendido en visiones de ʼElohim. Y en el tiempo cuando buscó a Yavé, ʼElohim lo prosperó.
And he was to seek God in [the] days of Zechariah who was skilled in [the] seeing of God and in [the] days of seeking he Yahweh he made prosper him God.
6 Salió a combatir contra los filisteos y derribó el muro de Gat, el de Jabnia y el de Asdod. Edificó ciudades en la región de Asdod, entre los filisteos.
And he went out and he fought against the Philistines and he made a breach in [the] wall of Gath and [the] wall of Jabneh and [the] wall of Ashdod and he built cities in Ashdod and among the Philistines.
7 ʼElohim lo ayudó contra los filisteos, contra los árabes que vivían en Gur-baal, y contra los meunitas.
And he helped him God on [the] Philistines and on (the Arabs *Q(k)*) who were dwelling in Gur Baal and the Meunites.
8 Los amonitas pagaron tributo a Uzías. Su fama se extendió hasta la entrada a Egipto, pues fue muy poderoso.
And they paid the Ammonites tribute to Uzziah and it went name his till to [the] entrance of Egypt for he displayed strength to upwards.
9 Uzías también edificó torres en Jerusalén junto a la puerta de la Esquina, en la entrada del Valle y junto al ángulo. Las fortificó.
And he built Uzziah towers in Jerusalem at [the] gate of the corner and at [the] gate of the valley and at the buttress and he made strong them.
10 También edificó torres en la región despoblada. Excavó muchas cisternas, pues tenía mucho ganado, tanto en la Sefela como en las vegas. Tenía además agricultores y viñadores en las montañas y en los campos fértiles, pues amaba la agricultura.
And he built towers in the wilderness and he dug wells many for livestock much it belonged to him and in the Shephelah and in the plain farmers and vinedressers in the mountains and in the orchards for loving [the] ground he was.
11 Uzías tuvo un ejército de guerreros que salían a la guerra por divisiones, según la lista elaborada por el escriba Jeiel, y el magistrado Maasías, dirigidos por Hananías, uno de los jefes del rey.
And it belonged to Uzziah an army doing battle [those who] go forth of war to troop[s] by [the] number of muster their by [the] hand of (Jeiel *Q(K)*) the scribe and Maaseiah the official on [the] hand of Hananiah one of [the] officials of the king.
12 El número total de jefes de casas paternas, hombres valientes, era 2.600,
All [the] number of [the] heads of the fathers of mighty [men] of strength two thousand and six hundred.
13 bajo cuya dirección estaba un ejército de 307.500 valientes guerreros, para ayudar al rey contra los enemigos.
And [was] on hand their an army of war three hundred thousand and seven thousand and five hundred doers of battle with power of strength to help the king on the enemy.
14 Uzías preparó para todo el ejército, escudos, lanzas, cascos, corazas y arcos, y hondas para lanzar piedras.
And he prepared for them Uzziah for all the army shields and spears and helmets and body armor and bows and stones of slings.
15 Hizo artefactos para lanzar flechas y grandes piedras, inventados por hombres ingeniosos. Los ubicó en las torres y esquinas de Jerusalén. Su fama se extendió lejos, porque fue milagrosamente ayudado para ser fuerte.
And he made - in Jerusalem war engines of invention of an inventor to be on the towers and on the corners to shoot with arrows and with stones large and it went out name his to from a distance for he made wonderful to be helped until for he was strong.
16 Sin embargo, cuando fue fuerte, su corazón se enalteció hasta corromperse. Fue infiel a Yavé su ʼElohim, pues entró en la Casa de Yavé para quemar incienso sobre el altar del incienso.
And according to strengthening his it was haughty heart his until behaved corruptly and he acted unfaithfully against Yahweh God his and he went into [the] temple of Yahweh to make smoke on [the] altar of incense.
17 Tras el [rey Uzías] entró el sacerdote Azarías junto con 80 sacerdotes de Yavé, hombres valientes.
And he went after him Azariah the priest and [were] with him priests - of Yahweh eighty sons of strength.
18 Ellos se enfrentaron al rey Uzías y le dijeron: ¡Oh Uzías, no te corresponde a ti quemar incienso a Yavé, sino a los sacerdotes, hijos de Aarón, que están consagrados para quemar incienso! Sal del Santuario, porque fuiste infiel. No tendrás honra de parte de Yavé ʼElohim.
And they took their stand on Uzziah the king and they said to him not [belongs] to you O Uzziah to make smoke to Yahweh for to the priests [the] descendants of Aaron who are consecrated to make smoke go out from the sanctuary for you have acted unfaithfully and not of you for honor from Yahweh God.
19 Pero Uzías, quien tenía un incensario en su mano para quemar incienso, se llenó de ira. Cuando se airó contra los sacerdotes, le brotó lepra en su frente, delante de los sacerdotes en la Casa de Yavé junto al altar del incienso.
And he was enraged Uzziah and [was] in hand his a censer to make smoke and when enraging he with the priests and skin disease it arose on forehead his before the priests in [the] house of Yahweh from on to [the] altar of incense.
20 Cuando el sumo sacerdote Azarías y todos los sacerdotes se volvieron hacia él, ciertamente tenía la frente leprosa. Entonces lo hicieron salir de prisa de allí, y él mismo se dio prisa para salir, porque Yavé lo hirió.
And he turned to him Azariah [the] priest of the head and all the priests and there! he [was] leprous on forehead his and they hastened him from there and also he he hurried himself to go out for he had struck him Yahweh.
21 El rey Uzías fue leproso hasta el día de su muerte. Vivió leproso en una casa aislada, pues fue excluido de la Casa de Yavé. Su hijo Jotam quedó a cargo del palacio real y juzgaba al pueblo de la tierra.
And he was Uzziah the king leprous - until [the] day of death his and he dwelt [the] house of (separateness *Q(k)*) leprous for he was cut off from [the] house of Yahweh and Jotham son his [was] over [the] house of the king judging [the] people of the land.
22 Los demás hechos de Uzías, los primeros y los últimos, los escribió el profeta Isaías, hijo de Amoz.
And [the] rest of [the] matters of Uzziah former and latter he has written Isaiah [the] son of Amoz the prophet.
23 Uzías descansó con sus antepasados, y lo sepultaron en un campo de sepultura de reyes, [no en los sepulcros reales], porque dijeron: Es leproso. En su lugar reinó su hijo Jotam.
And he lay down Uzziah with ancestors his and people buried him with ancestors his in [the] field of grave which [belonged] to the kings for they said [was] leprous he and he became king Jotham son his in place of him.
