1 Samuel 2
1 Entonces Ana oró y exclamó: Mi corazón se exalta en Yavé. Mi cuerno se exalta en Yavé. Mi boca habla osadamente contra mis enemigos, Porque me regocijo en tu salvación.
And she prayed Hannah and she said it rejoices heart my in Yahweh it is exalted horn my in Yahweh it has opened wide mouth my on enemies my for I rejoiced in deliverance your.
2 No hay santo como Yavé, Porque ninguno hay fuera de Ti, Ni hay refugio como el ʼElohim nuestro.
There not [is] a holy [one] like Yahweh for there not [is] except you and there not [is] a rock like God our.
3 No multipliquen palabras altivas, Ni salga arrogancia de su boca, Porque Yavé es ʼElohim de entendimiento, Y Él pesa las acciones.
May not you multiply you will speak haughty haughty it goes out arrogance from mouth your for [is] a God of knowledge Yahweh (and by him *Q(K)*) they are measured deeds.
4 Los arcos de los fuertes son quebrados, Pero los que se tambalean son fortalecidos.
[the] bow of Warriors [are] shattered and [those who] stumble they gird on strength.
5 Los que estaban saciados se venden por pan, Pero los hambrientos dejan de tener hambre. Mientras la estéril da a luz a siete, La que tiene muchos hijos se debilita.
Satisfied [people] for food they hire themselves out and hungry [people] they cease to a barren [woman] she bears seven [children] and [a woman] many of sons she languishes.
Yahweh [is] killing and [is] restoring to life [he is] bringing down Sheol and he has brought up. (Sheol h7585)
7 Yavé empobrece y enriquece. Él abate y enaltece.
Yahweh [is] making poor and [is] making rich [he is] bringing low also [is] exalting.
8 Él levanta al pobre del polvo, Y exalta al necesitado desde el muladar Para sentarlo con príncipes y heredar un trono de honor. Porque de Yavé son las columnas de la tierra, Y Él colocó el mundo sobre ellas.
[he is] raising up From [the] dust [the] poor from [the] ash heap he lifts up [the] needy to cause [them] to dwell with noble [people] and a throne of honor he makes inherit them for [belong] to Yahweh [the] pillars of [the] earth and he set on them [the] world.
9 Él guarda los pies de sus santos, Pero los perversos perecen en la oscuridad, Porque por su propia fuerza no prevalece un hombre.
[the] feet of (Faithful [people] his *Q(K)*) he will protect and wicked [people] in the darkness they will be silenced for not by strength he will prevail anyone.
10 Los adversarios de Yavé son destrozados. Contra ellos truena desde el cielo. Yavé juzgará los confines de la tierra, Dará fortaleza a su Rey Y exaltará el cuerno de su Ungido.
Yahweh they will be shattered ([those who] contend against him *Q(K)*) (on him *Q(k)*) in the heavens he will thunder Yahweh he will judge [the] ends of [the] earth so he may give strength to king his and he will exalt [the] horn of anointed his.
11 Entonces Elcana regresó a su casa en Ramá, pero el niño ministraba a Yavé delante del sacerdote Elí.

12 Los hijos de Elí eran hombres despreciables. No tenían conocimiento de Yavé.
And [the] sons of Eli [were] sons of worthlessness not they knew Yahweh.
13 La costumbre de los sacerdotes con el pueblo era que cuando algún varón ofrecía un sacrificio, el esclavo del sacerdote se acercaba con un garfio de tres dientes en su mano mientras se cocía la carne,
And [the] custom of the priests with the people every person [who] was sacrificing a sacrifice and he came [the] servant of the priest when boiled the meat and the fork [the] three the prongs [was] in hand his.
14 y de un golpe lo metía en el perol, la olla, el caldero o la olla metálica. Todo lo que el garfio sacaba el sacerdote lo tomaba para él. De esta manera hacían en Silo con todos los israelitas que iban allí.
And he thrust [it] in the pot or in the kettle or in the caldron or in the pot all that it brought up the fork he took the priest for himself thus they did to all Israel who came there at Shiloh.
15 También, antes de quemar la grasa, el esclavo del sacerdote llegaba y decía al que sacrificaba: Da al sacerdote carne para asar, porque no tomará de ti carne cocida, sino cruda.
Also before they made smoke! the fat and he came - [the] servant of the priest and he said to the man who was sacrificing give! meat to roast to the priest and not he will accept from you meat boiled that except raw.
16 Si el hombre le respondía: Quemen primero la grasa y después toma lo que desees, le decía: No, sino dámela ahora mismo, pues si no, la tomaré por la fuerza.
And he said to him the man surely let them make smoke! as the day the fat and take for yourself just as it desires appetite your and he said - (no *Q(K)*) that now you will give [it] and if not I take [it] by force.
17 Así que el pecado de los jóvenes era muy grave delante de Yavé, porque tales hombres despreciaban la ofrenda de Yavé.
And it was [the] sin of the young men great very with [the] presence of Yahweh for they treated with contempt the men [the] offering of Yahweh.
18 [El] niño Samuel ministraba delante de Yavé vestido con un efod de lino.
And Samuel [was] serving with [the] presence of Yahweh a lad girded an ephod of linen.
19 Su madre le hacía una túnica pequeña y se la llevaba cada año cuando subía con su esposo a ofrecer el sacrificio acostumbrado.
And a robe small she made for him mother his and she brought it up to him from days - days towards when went up she with husband her to sacrifice [the] sacrifice of the days.
20 Elí bendecía a Elcana y a su esposa y decía: Yavé te dé descendientes de esta esposa en lugar del que ella dedicó a Yavé. Y ellos regresaban a su casa.
And he blessed Eli Elkanah and wife his and he said may he appoint Yahweh for you offspring from the woman this in place of the petition which someone asked to Yahweh and they went to place his.
21 Yavé visitó a Ana, y concibió. Dio a luz tres hijos y dos hijas. Y el joven Samuel crecía delante de Yavé,
For he visited Yahweh Hannah and she conceived and she bore three sons and two daughters and he grew up the lad Samuel with Yahweh.
22 pero Elí envejeció mucho. Oía todo lo que sus hijos hacían a todo Israel, y cómo se unían con las mujeres que servían en la entrada del Tabernáculo de Reunión.
And Eli he was old exceedingly and he heard all that they did! sons his to all Israel and [he heard] this: they were lying with! the women who were serving [the] opening of [the] tent of meeting.
23 Y él les decía: ¿Por qué hacen tales cosas? Porque yo oigo de todo este pueblo sus malas acciones.
And he said to them why? are you doing! according to the things these that I [am] hearing things your wicked from with all the people these.
24 No, hijos míos, no es bueno el rumor que oigo, porque hacen pecar al pueblo de Yavé.
May not [it be] O sons my for [is] not good the report which I [am] hearing [which are] spreading [the] people of Yahweh.
25 Si un hombre peca contra otro hombre, ʼElohim intercederá. Pero si alguno peca contra Yavé, ¿quién intercederá por él? Pero ellos no escucharon la voz de su padre, pues Yavé había decidido que murieran.
If he will sin a person to a person and he will mediate for him God and if to Yahweh he will sin a person who? will he intercede for him and not they listened to [the] voice of father their for he desired Yahweh to put to death them.
26 El joven Samuel crecía y era aprobado delante de Yavé y de los hombres.
And the lad Samuel [was] going and [was] growing up and he was good both with Yahweh as well as with people.
27 Entonces un varón de ʼElohim fue a Elí y le dijo: Yavé dice: ¿No me revelé en verdad a la casa de tu antepasado cuando estaba en Egipto [esclavo] en casa de Faraón?
And he came a man of God to Eli and he said to him thus he says Yahweh ¿ really did I reveal myself to [the] house of ancestor your when were they in Egypt to [the] house of Pharaoh.
28 ¿No te escogí de entre todas las tribus de Israel para que fueras mi sacerdote, ofrecieras sobre mi altar y quemaras incienso y llevaras [el] efod en mi Presencia, y di a la casa de tu antepasado todas las ofrendas encendidas de los hijos de Israel?
And I chose him from all [the] tribes of Israel for myself to a priest to go up on altar my to make smoke incense to bear an ephod before me and I gave! to [the] house of ancestor your all [the] fire offerings of [the] people of Israel.
29 ¿Por qué desprecian mis sacrificios y mis ofrendas que Yo ordené ofrecer en mi Tabernáculo? ¿Por qué honras a tus hijos más bien que a Mí, para que se engorden con lo más sustancioso de todas las ofrendas de mi pueblo Israel?
Why? do you kick at sacrifice my and at offering my which I commanded a dwelling place and you honor sons your more than me by fattening yourselves from [the] choicest of every offering of Israel of people my.
30 Por tanto, Yavé ʼElohim de Israel dice: En verdad dije que tu casa y la casa de tu antepasado estarían delante de Mí perpetuamente. Pero ahora, Yavé dice: ¡Lejos esté esto de Mí! Porque a los que me honran Yo los honraré, pero los que me desprecian serán tenidos en poco.
Therefore [the] utterance of Yahweh [the] God of Israel certainly I said house your and [the] house of ancestor your they will walk about before me until perpetuity and now [the] utterance of Yahweh far be it to me for [those who] honor me I will honor and [those who] despise me they will be insignificant.
31 Ciertamente vienen días en los cuales cortaré tu brazo y el brazo de la casa de tu padre para que no quede anciano en tu casa.
Here! days [are] coming and I will cut off arm your and [the] arm of [the] house of ancestor your from being an old [man] in house your.
32 Verás la aflicción de mi Casa, a pesar del bien que hago a Israel. Jamás habrá anciano en tu casa.
And you will look at [the] distress of a dwelling place in all that he will do good to Israel and not he will be an old [man] in house your all the days.
33 El varón de los tuyos que Yo no corte de mi altar, servirá para consumir tus ojos y entristecer tu alma. Todos los nacidos en tu casa morirán en la flor de su edad.
And a man not I will cut off to you from with altar my to cause to fail eyes your and to cause to grieve self your and all [the] increase of house your they will die men.
34 Esto que vendrá sobre tus dos hijos, Ofni y Finees, te servirá de señal: Ambos morirán el mismo día.
And this for you [will be] the sign which it will come to [the] two sons your to Hophni and Phinehas on a day one they will die both of them.
35 Pero levantaré para Mí un sacerdote fiel que actuará según mi corazón y mi alma. Le edificaré casa firme, y él andará delante de Mí ungido todos los días.
And I will raise up for myself a priest faithful according to [that] which [is] in heart my and in soul my he will act and I will build for him a house sure (and he will walk about *LAH(b)*) before anointed my all the days.
36 Sucederá que todo aquel que quede de tu casa acudirá a postrarse ante él por una moneda de plata o una torta de pan, y dirá: Te ruego que me asignes alguna función sacerdotal para que pueda comer un bocado de pan.
And it will be every [one who] remains in house your he will come to bow down to him for a payment of silver and a round loaf of bread and he will say attach me please to one of the priesthoods to eat a piece of bread.
