1 Reyes 7
1 Después Salomón edificó su propia casa en 13 años, y terminó toda su casa.
And Solomon has built his own house [in] thirteen years, and he finishes all his house.
2 Edificó la casa del bosque del Líbano, la cual tenía 45 metros de longitud, 22,5 metros de anchura y 13,5 metros de altura, sobre cuatro hileras de columnas de cedro con vigas de cedro sobre las columnas.
And he builds the House of the Forest of Lebanon; its length [is] one hundred cubits, and its breadth fifty cubits, and its height thirty cubits, on four rows of cedar pillars, and cedar-beams on the pillars;
3 Estaba cubierta de cedro encima de las vigas que se apoyaban sobre 45 columnas, 15 columnas por hilera.
and [it is] covered with cedar above, on the sides that [are] on the forty-five pillars, fifteen in the row.
4 Había tres hileras de ventanas, una ventana frente a otra, en grupos de tres.
And frames [are] in three rows, and window [is] toward window three times.
5 Todas las puertas y ventanas tenían marcos cuadrados, y una ventana estaba frente a otra, en grupos de tres.
And all the openings and the doorposts [are of] square frame; and window [is] toward window three times.
6 También hizo el patio de las columnas, que tenía 22,5 metros de longitud por 13,5 metros de anchura. Frente a las columnas de este patio había otro patio con columnas, que tenía una cubierta delante.
And he has made the porch of the pillars; its length fifty cubits, and its breadth thirty cubits, and the porch [is] before them, and pillars and a thick place [are] before them.
7 También edificó el patio del trono donde iba a juzgar, el patio del juicio. Lo recubrió con cedro desde el suelo hasta las vigas.
And the porch of the throne where he judges—the porch of judgment—he has made, and [it is] covered with cedar from the floor to the floor.
8 En la casa donde vivía, había otro patio más adentro del patio, del mismo tipo de construcción. Salomón también edificó una casa parecida a este patio para la hija de Faraón a quien tomó como esposa.
As for his house where he dwells, the other court [is] within the porch—it has been as this work; and he makes a house for the daughter of Pharaoh—whom Solomon has taken—like this porch.
9 Todas estas obras, desde los cimientos hasta las cornisas, y afuera hasta el gran patio, eran de piedras costosas y bloques tallados a la medida, cortados con sierra por el lado interior y el exterior.
All these [are] of precious stones, according to the measures of hewn work, sawn with a saw, inside and outside, even from the foundation to the coping, and at the outside, to the great court.
10 El cimiento era de grandes piedras costosas de 4,5 metros y de 3,6 metros.
And the foundation [is] of precious stones, great stones, stones of ten cubits, and stones of eight cubits;
11 De allí hacia arriba, también eran piedras costosas, bloques tallados a medida y madera de cedro.
and precious stones [are] above, according to the measures of hewn work, and cedar;
12 El gran patio tenía alrededor un muro de tres hileras de bloques tallados y una hilera de vigas de cedro, como el patio interior de la Casa de Yavé y el patio de la casa.
and the great court around [is] three rows of hewn work, and a row of cedar-beams, even for the inner court of the house of YHWH, and for the porch of the house.
13 El rey Salomón envió a traer a Hiram desde Tiro.
And King Solomon sends and takes Hiram out of Tyre—
14 Este era hijo de una viuda de la tribu de Neftalí, cuyo padre era un hombre de Tiro, artesano en bronce. Él estaba lleno de sabiduría, inteligencia y pericia para hacer cualquier obra en bronce. Éste fue al rey Salomón e hizo toda su obra.
he [is the] son of a woman, a widow, of the tribe of Naphtali, and his father [is] a man of Tyre, a worker in bronze, and he is filled with the wisdom and the understanding, and the knowledge to do all work in bronze—and he comes to King Solomon, and does all his work.
15 Hizo el vaciado de las dos columnas de bronce. Cada columna tenía 8,1 metros de altura. La circunferencia de cada columna medida con un cordel era de 5,4 metros.
And he forms the two pillars of bronze; eighteen cubits [is] the height of the first pillar, and a cord of twelve cubits goes around the second pillar.
16 Hizo dos capiteles de bronce fundido para ponerlos en las cabezas de las columnas. Cada capitel tenía 2,25 metros de altura.
And he has made two chapiters to put on the tops of the pillars, cast in bronze; five cubits the height of the first capital, and five cubits the height of the second capital.
17 Había redes de trabajo de malla y trenzas en trabajo de cadenilla para los capiteles que estaban en las cabezas de las columnas: siete para cada capitel.
Nets of network, wreaths of chain-work [are] for the chapiters that [are] on the top of the pillars, seven for the first capital, and seven for the second capital.
18 Hizo también dos hileras de granadas alrededor de cada red, para cubrir los capiteles que estaban en las cabezas de las columnas con las granadas, lo mismo para cada capitel.
And he makes the pillars, and two rows around on the one network, to cover the chapiters that [are] on the top, with the pomegranates, and so he has made for the second capital.
19 Los capiteles que estaban sobre las columnas en el patio tenían forma de lirios, y eran de 1,8 metros.
And the chapiters that [are] on the top of the pillars [are] of lily-work in the porch, four cubits;
20 Los capiteles sobre las columnas tenían 200 granadas en dos hileras, sobre la parte abultada del capitel que estaba encima de la red, tanto en el primer capitel como en el segundo.
and the chapiters on the two pillars also [have pomegranates] above, close by the protuberance that [is] beside the net; and the pomegranates [are] two hundred, in rows around on the second capital.
21 Erigió también las columnas en el patio del Lugar Santo. Erigió la columna derecha, y la llamó Jaquín. Erigió la columna izquierda, y la llamó Boaz.
And he raises up the pillars for the porch of the temple, and he raises up the right pillar, and calls its name Jachin, and he raises up the left pillar, and calls its name Boaz;
22 Puso un diseño de lirios en la parte superior de las columnas. Estas columnas fueron diseñadas del mismo modo.
and on the top of the pillars [is] lily-work; and the work of the pillars [is] completed.
23 Hizo también el mar de fundición de forma circular de 4,5 metros de borde a borde, 2,25 metros de alto y 13,5 metros de circunferencia.
And he makes the molten sea, ten by the cubit from its edge to its edge; [it is] round all about, and its height [is] five by the cubit, and a line of thirty by the cubit surrounds it around;
24 Había calabazas debajo y alrededor del borde, diez [calabazas] por cada 45 centímetros, dispuestas en dos hileras alrededor del mar, las cuales fueron fundidas en una sola pieza con el mar.
and knobs beneath its brim around are going around it, ten by the cubit, going around the sea; the knobs [are] in two rows, cast in its being cast.
25 [El mar] estaba asentado sobre 12 bueyes. Tres miraban al norte, tres al occidente, tres al sur y tres al oriente. El mar estaba asentado sobre ellos. Todas las ancas daban hacia la parte interior.
It is standing on twelve oxen, three facing the north, and three facing the west, and three facing the south, and three facing the east, and the sea [is] on them above, and all their back parts [are] inward.
26 Su espesor era de 7,5 centímetros, y su borde, como el borde de un cáliz de flor de lirio. Su capacidad era de 44.000 litros.
And its thickness [is] a handbreadth, and its edge [is] as the work of the edge of a cup, [as] flowers of lilies; it contains two thousand baths.
27 Hizo también las diez basas de bronce. 1,8 metros era la longitud y la anchura de cada basa y 1,35 metros la altura.
And he makes the ten bases of bronze; the length of the one base [is] four by the cubit, and its breadth [is] four by the cubit, and its height [is] three by the cubit.
28 Este era el diseño de las basas. Tenían marcos, los cuales estaban entre los paneles.
And this [is] the work of the base: they have borders, and the borders [are] between the joinings;
29 Sobre los marcos que había entre los paneles había figuras de leones, bueyes y querubines. Sobre los paneles, tanto encima como debajo de los leones y los bueyes, había guirnaldas en bajorrelieve.
and on the borders that [are] between the joinings [are] lions, oxen, and cherubim, and on the joinings a base above, and beneath the lions and the oxen [are] additions—sloping work.
30 Cada basa tenía cuatro ruedas de bronce con ejes de bronce. Sus cuatro patas tenían soportes debajo de la fuente, los cuales eran de bronce fundido. Tenían molduras a cada lado.
And four wheels of bronze [are] for the one base, and axles of bronze; and its four corners have shoulders—the molten shoulders [are] under the laver, beside each addition.
31 Su abertura sobresalía 45 centímetros del interior, a manera de capitel. Su abertura era circular, hecha como una base de 68 centímetros. También alrededor de su abertura había bajorrelieves. Sus marcos eran cuadrados, no circulares.
And its mouth within the capital and above [is] by the cubit, and its mouth [is] round, the work of the base, a cubit and half a cubit; and also on its mouth [are] carvings and their borders, square, not round.
32 Las cuatro ruedas estaban debajo de los marcos. Los ejes de las ruedas salían de la base. Cada rueda tenía 68 centímetros de alto.
And the four wheels [are] under the borders, and the spokes of the wheels [are] in the base, and the height of the one wheel [is] a cubit and half a cubit.
33 El diseño de las ruedas era como el de las ruedas de una carroza. Sus ejes, sus aros, sus rayos y sus cubos, todo era de fundición.
And the work of the wheels [is] as the work of the wheel of a chariot, their spokes, and their axles, and their felloes, and their naves; the whole [is] molten.
34 También los cuatro soportes de las cuatro esquinas de cada base salían de la misma base.
And four shoulders [are] for the four corners of the one base; its shoulders [are] out of the base.
35 En la parte superior de la base había un soporte circular de 23 centímetros de altura. Sobre la base había molduras y tableros que salían de la misma.
And in the top of the base [is] the half of a cubit in the height all around; and on the top of the base its spokes and its borders [are] of the same.
36 Sobre las planchas de sus soportes y de sus marcos grabó querubines, leones y palmeras, según el espacio de cada uno, con guirnaldas alrededor.
And he engraves on the tablets of its spokes, and on its borders, cherubim, lions, and palm-trees, according to the void space of each, and additions all around.
37 De esta manera hizo las diez bases de una sola fundición, de la misma medida y de la misma forma.
Thus he has made the ten bases; they all have one casting, one measure, one form.
38 Hizo también diez fuentes de bronce. Cada una tenía una capacidad de 880 litros. Cada fuente tenía 1,8 metros. Puso una fuente sobre cada una de las diez bases.
And he makes ten lavers of bronze; the one laver contains forty baths [and] the one laver [is] four by the cubit; one laver on the one base [is] for [each of] the ten bases;
39 Puso cinco bases al lado sur de la Casa y las otras cinco al lado norte. El mar lo colocó al lado sur de la Casa, hacia el sureste.
and he puts the five bases on the right side of the house, and five on the left side of the house, and he has put the sea on the right side of the house eastward—from toward the south.
40 Hiram también hizo las ollas, las palas y los tazones. Hiram terminó de realizar toda la obra para el rey Salomón en la Casa de Yavé:
And Hiram makes the lavers, and the shovels, and the bowls; and Hiram completes to do all the work that he made for King Solomon, [for] the house of YHWH:
41 las dos columnas y los capiteles circulares que estaban en lo alto de las dos columnas, las dos redes que cubrían los dos capiteles que estaban en lo alto de las columnas;
two pillars, and bowls of the chapiters that [are] on the top of the two pillars, and the two nets to cover the two bowls of the chapiters that [are] on the top of the pillars;

and the four hundred pomegranates for the two nets (two rows of pomegranates for the one net to cover the two bowls of the chapiters that [are] on the front of the pillars);

and the ten bases, and the ten lavers on the bases;
44 el mar, con los 12 bueyes debajo del mar;
and the one sea, the twelve oxen under the sea,
45 las ollas, las palas y los tazones. Todos estos utensilios que Hiram hizo para la Casa de Yavé, para el rey Salomón, eran de bronce abrillantado.
and the pots, and the shovels, and the bowls; and all these vessels, that Hiram has made for King Solomon [for] the house of YHWH, [are] of polished bronze.
46 El rey ordenó fundir todo esto en tierra arcillosa en la llanura del Jordán, entre Sucot y Saretán.
The king has cast them in the circuit of the Jordan, in the thick soil of the ground, between Succoth and Zarthan.
47 Salomón decidió no pesar todos estos utensilios por su gran cantidad. El peso del bronce nunca pudo ser averiguado.
And Solomon places the whole of the vessels; because of the very great abundance, the weight of the bronze has not been searched out.
48 Salomón también hizo todos los utensilios de la Casa de Yavé: el altar de oro, la mesa de oro sobre la cual estaba el Pan de la Presencia,
And Solomon makes all the vessels that [are] in the house of YHWH: the altar of gold, and the table of gold (on which [is] the Bread of the Presentation),
49 los cinco candelabros de oro puro que estaban al sur, y los otros cinco al norte, delante del Lugar Santísimo, con las flores, las lámparas y las tenazas de oro.
and the lampstands, five on the right, and five on the left, before the oracle, of refined gold, and the flowers, and the lamps, and the tongs, of gold,
50 Asimismo, hizo las copas, las despabiladeras, los tazones, las cucharas y los incensarios de oro puro. También eran de oro las bisagras de las puertas de la Sala Interior, del Lugar Santísimo, y los de las puertas de la sala de la Casa.
and the basins, and the snuffers, and the bowls, and the spoons, and the censers, of refined gold, and the hinges for the doors of the inner-house, for the Holy of Holies, for the doors of the house of the temple, of gold.
51 Se completó toda la obra que el rey Salomón hizo para la Casa de Yavé. Salomón introdujo las cosas que su padre David consagró. Depositó la plata, el oro y los utensilios en la tesorería de la Casa de Yavé.
And it is complete—all the work that King Solomon has made [for] the house of YHWH, and Solomon brings in the sanctified things of his father David; he has put the silver, and the gold, and the vessels in the treasuries of the house of YHWH.
