1 Juan 1
1 Lo que era desde un principio, lo que escuchamos, lo que vimos con nuestros ojos, lo que contemplamos y palparon nuestras manos con respecto al Verbo de la Vida
That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we for ourselves gazed upon, and our hands did handle, concerning the Word of Life, —
2 (porque la Vida se manifestó y [La] vimos), testificamos. Les anunciamos la Vida eterna, la cual estaba ante el Padre y se nos manifestó. (aiōnios g166)
And, the Life, was made manifest, and we have seen, and are bearing witness, and announcing unto you, the Age-abiding Life, which, indeed, was with the Father, and was made manifest unto us; (aiōnios g166)
3 Lo que vimos y escuchamos también les anunciamos, para que ustedes tengan comunión con nosotros. Ciertamente nuestra comunión es con el Padre y con su Hijo Jesucristo.
That which we have seen and heard, are we announcing, even unto you, in order that, ye too, may have fellowship with us, and, our own fellowship also, may be with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.
4 Estas cosas escribimos para que nuestro gozo sea completado.
And, these things, are we writing, in order that, our joy, may be made full.
5 Éste es el mensaje que escuchamos de Él y les anunciamos: Dios es Luz, y ninguna oscuridad hay en Él.
And this is the message which we have heard from him, and are reporting unto you, —that, God, is, light, and in him is, no darkness at all.
6 Si decimos que tenemos comunión con Él y vivimos en la oscuridad, mentimos y no practicamos la verdad.
If we say—We have, fellowship, with him! and, in darkness, are walking, we are dealing falsely, and not doing the truth;
7 Pero cuando andemos en la Luz, como Él está en la Luz, tenemos comunión unos con otros, y la sangre de Jesús su Hijo nos limpia de todo pecado.
Whereas, if, in the light, we are walking, as, he, is in the light, we have, fellowship one with another, and, the blood of Jesus his Son, is cleansing us from all sin.
8 Si decimos que no pecamos, nos engañamos a nosotros mismos y la verdad no está en nosotros.
If we say—Sin, have we none! we are deceiving, ourselves, and, the truth, is not in us.
9 Cuando confesamos nuestros pecados, [Él] es fiel y justo para perdonar nuestros pecados y limpiarnos de toda maldad.
If we are confessing our sins, faithful, is he and, righteous—that he should forgive us our sins, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
10 Si decimos que no pecamos, lo declaramos a Él mentiroso, y su Palabra no está en nosotros.
If we say—We have not sinned! false, are we making, him, and, his word, is not in us.
