1 Corintios 9

1 ¿No soy libre? ¿No soy apóstol? ¿No vi a Jesús nuestro Señor? ¿No son ustedes [resultado de ]mi trabajo en [el] Señor?

2 Si para otros no soy apóstol, para ustedes ciertamente lo soy, porque ustedes son mi sello del apostolado en el Señor.

3 Esta es mi defensa ante los que me acusan:

6 ¿Yo y Bernabé no tenemos derecho a dejar de trabajar?

7 ¿Quién se ofrece jamás para un servicio militar y paga sus propios gastos? ¿Quién planta una viña y no come el fruto de ella? ¿O quién apacienta un rebaño y no participa de la leche del rebaño?

8 ¿Digo esto como humano? ¿No lo dice también la Ley?

9 Porque en la Ley de Moisés está escrito: No pondrás bozal a un buey que trilla. ¿Tiene Dios cuidado de los bueyes?

13 ¿No saben que los que trabajan en las cosas del Templo, comen del Templo? ¿Y los que sirven en el altar comen de lo que se sacrifica en el altar?

17 Pues si lo hago por [mi] propia voluntad, tengo recompensa. Sin embargo, si [lo hago] porque me fue impuesto, significa que se me confió una administración.

18 ¿Cuál, pues, es mi recompensa? Que al predicar las Buenas Noticias, las ofrezco gratuitamente, para no hacer pleno uso de mi derecho en la predicación de ellas.
