1 Crónicas 9
1 Todo Israel fue registrado según sus genealogías, y están inscritos en el rollo de los reyes de Israel. Y [los] de Judá fueron llevados cautivos a Babilonia, por causa de su infidelidad.
So all Israel were recorded by their genealogies, and, behold, they are written in the book of the Kings of Israel; but [the men of] Judah were carried away into exile to Babylon for their unfaithfulness.
2 Los primeros que regresaron a sus posesiones en sus ciudades fueron los israelitas: sacerdotes, levitas y servidores del Templo.
And the first inhabitants that [dwelt again] in their possessions in their cities, were the Israelites, the priests, the Levites, and the temple-servants.
3 En Jerusalén se establecieron algunos de los hijos de Judá, Benjamín, Efraín y Manasés:
And in Jerusalem dwelt some of the children of Judah, and of the children of Benjamin, and of the children of Ephraim, and Menasseh.
4 Utai, hijo de Amiud, hijo de Omri, hijo de Imri, hijo de Bani, de los hijos de Fares, hijo de Judá.
'Uthai the son of 'Ammihud, the son of 'Omri, the son of Imri, the son of Bani, of the children of Perez the son of Judah.
5 De los silonitas, Asaías, el primogénito, y sus hijos.
And of the Shilonites: 'Assayah the first-born, and his sons.
6 De los hijos de Zera, Jeuel y sus hermanos. Eran 690.
And of the sons of Zerach: Je'uel, and their brethren, six hundred and ninety.
7 De los hijos de Benjamín, Salú, hijo de Mesulam, hijo de Hodavías, hijo de Asenúa,
And of the sons of Benjamin: Sallu the son of Meshullam, the son of Hodavyah, the son of Hassenuah,
8 Ibneías, hijo de Jeroham, Ela, hijo de Uzi, hijo de Micri, y Mesulam, hijo de Sefatías, hijo de Reuel, hijo de Ibnías.
And Yibneyah the son of Jerocham, and Elah the son of 'Uzzi, the son of Michri, and Meshullam the son of Shephatyah, the son of Re'uel, the son of Yibniyah;
9 Sus hermanos según sus familias: 956. Todos estos hombres fueron jefes de familia en sus casas paternas.
And their brethren, according to their generations, nine hundred and fifty and six. All these men were chiefs of the divisions of their family divisions.
10 De los sacerdotes: Jedaías, Joiarib, Jaquín,
And of the priests: Jeda'yah, and Jehoyarib, and Jachin.
11 Azarías, hijo de Hilcías, hijo de Mesulam, hijo de Sadoc, hijo de Meraiot, hijo de Ahitob, jefe de la Casa de ʼElohim.
And 'Azaryah the son of Chilkiyah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Zadok, the son of Merayoth, the son of Actitub, the ruler of the house of God.
12 Adaía, hijo de Jeroham, hijo de Pasur, hijo de Malquías. Masai, hijo de Adiel, hijo de Jazera, hijo de Mesul, hijo de Mesilemit, hijo de Imer,
And 'Adayah the son of Jerocham, the son of Pashchur, the son of Malkiyah, and Ma'sai the son of 'Adiel, the son of Jachzerah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Meshillemith, the son of Immer:
13 y sus hermanos, jefes de sus casas paternas, en número de 1.760, hombres valientes para la obra del servicio en la Casa de ʼElohim.
And their brethren, chiefs of their family divisions, were one thousand and seven hundred and sixty, very able men for the work of the service of the house of God.
14 De los levitas: Semaías, hijo de Hasub, hijo de Azricam, hijo de Hasabías, de los hijos de Merari,
And of the Levites: Shema'yah the son of Chasshub, the son of 'Azrikam, the son of Chashabyah, of the sons of Merari;
15 Bacbacar, Heres, Galal, Matanías, hijo de Micaía, hijo de Zicri, hijo de Asaf,
And Bakbakkar, Cheresh, and Galal, and Matthanyah the son of Micha, the son of Zichri, the son of Assaph;
16 Obadías, hijo de Semaías, hijo de Galal, hijo de Jedutún. Y Berequías, hijo de Asa, hijo de Elcana, el cual vivió en las aldeas de los netofatitas.
And 'Obadiah the son of Shema'yah, the son of Galal, the son of Jeduthun; and Berechyah the son of Assa, the son of Elkanah, that dwelt in the villages of the Netophathites.
17 Y los porteros: Salum, Acub, Talmón, Ahimán y los hermanos de ellos. Salum era el jefe.
And the gatekeepers were Shallum, and 'Akkub, and Talmon, and Achiman, and their brethren, Shallum being the chief;
18 Hasta entonces estaban encargados de la puerta real, al oriente, y eran porteros de los hijos de Leví.
And up to this time they are in the king's gate to the eastward: they are the gatekeepers for the camps of the children of Levi.
19 Salum, hijo de Coré, hijo de Abiasaf, hijo de Coré, y sus hermanos los coreítas, por la casa de su padre, tuvieron a su cargo la obra del servicio, y cuidaban las puertas del Tabernáculo, como sus padres cuidaban las puertas del campamento de Yavé.
And Shallum the son of Kore, the son of Ebyassaph, the son of Korach, and his brethren, of the house of his father, the Korchites, being over the work of the service, were the watchmen at the threshold of the tabernacle: and their fathers, being over the camp of the Lord, were the watchmen at the entrance [thereof].
20 En tiempo antiguo, Finees, hijo de Eleazar, fue jefe de ellos. Yavé estuvo con él.
And Phinehas the son of El'azar was the ruler over them in times past; [and] the Lord was with him.
21 Zacarías, hijo de Meselemías, era portero en la entrada del Tabernáculo de Reunión.
[And] Zechariah the son of Meshelemyah was gatekeeper at the entrance of the tabernacle of the congregation.
22 Todos estos, escogidos para vigilar las puertas, eran 212 cuando fueron contados según el orden de sus familias en sus aldeas, a quienes David y el vidente Samuel constituyeron en su oficio.
All of these selected to be gatekeepers at the thresholds were two hundred and twelve. These were recorded according to their genealogy in their villages; [and they were] those [whom] David and Samuel the seer did ordain in their trust.
23 Así ellos y sus hijos eran porteros por turnos en la Casa de Yavé, es decir, la Casa del Tabernáculo.
Both they and their children had the oversight over the gates of the house of the Lord, [namely, ] the house of the tabernacle, as watches.
24 Estaban los porteros en los cuatro puntos: hacia el oriente, el occidente, el norte y el sur.
On four quarters were the gatekeepers, toward the east, the west, the north, and the south.
25 Sus hermanos que vivían en las aldeas llegaban cada siete días para estar con ellos según su turno,
And their brethren, who were in their villages, had to come after every seven days from time to time in common with these.
26 porque los cuatro porteros principales, que eran levitas, estaban en servicio permanente a cargo de las cámaras y de los tesoros de la Casa de ʼElohim.
For in [their] trust were these four chief gatekeepers— these Levites, and they were [appointed] over the chambers and treasuries of the house of God.
27 Pasaban la noche en los alrededores de la Casa de ʼElohim, pues ellos estaban encargados de la guardia y de abrirla cada mañana.
And they lodged round about the house of God; because upon them rested the duty of watching, and they had the supervision of the opening thereof each and every morning.
28 Algunos de éstos tenían a su cargo los utensilios para el ministerio, los cuales eran contados cuando los guardaban y cuando los sacaban.
And some of them had the charge of the vessels for the service; for by number did they bring them in, and by number did they carry them out.
29 Otros tenían a su cargo el mobiliario y todos los utensilios del Santuario, la flor de harina, el vino, el aceite, el incienso y las especias;
Some of them also were appointed over the vessels, and over all the vessels of the sanctuary, and over the fine flour, and the wine, and the oil, and the frankincense, and the spices.
30 y otros, de los hijos de los sacerdotes, preparaban la mezcla de las especias aromáticas.
And some of the sons of the priests prepared the mixture of the spices.
31 Matatías, uno de los levitas, primogénito de Salum coreíta, era responsable de las cosas que se preparaban en sartenes.
And Matthithyah, one of the Levites, who was the first-born of Shallum the Korchite, had the trust over the meat-offerings that were baked in the pans.

And others of their brethren, of the sons of the Kehathites, were over the orders of the shew-bread, to prepare it every sabbath.
33 También había cantores, jefes de casas paternas de los levitas, quienes vivían en las cámaras del Templo, libres de otro servicio, porque estaban en aquella obra día y noche.
But these the singers, the chiefs of the divisions of the Levites, remained in the chambers free of service; for day and night were they obliged to engage in that work.
34 Éstos eran jefes de casas paternas de los levitas según sus familias, jefes que vivían en Jerusalén.
These are the chiefs of the divisions of the Levites, being the chiefs for their generations: these dwelt at Jerusalem.
35 En Gabaón vivía Jehiel, padre de Gabaón. El nombre de la esposa de él era Maaca,
And in Gib'on dwelt the father of Gib'on, Je'iel; and the name of his wife was Ma'achah;
36 y Abdón, su hijo primogénito, luego Zur, Cis, Baal, Ner, Nadab,
And his first-born son was 'Abdon, then Zur, and Kish, and Ba'al, and Ner, and Nadab,
37 Gedor, Ahío, Zacarías y Miclot.
And Gedor, and Achyo, and Zechariah, and Mikloth.
38 Miclot engendró a Simeam. Éstos vivían también en Jerusalén enfrente de sus hermanos.
And Mikloth begat Shimam. And they also dwelt alongside of their brethren at Jerusalem, with their brethren.
39 Ner engendró a Cis, Cis a Saúl, y Saúl a Jonatán, Malquisúa, Abinadab y Es-baal.
And Ner begat Kish; and Kish begat Saul; and Saul begat Jehonathan, and Malki-shua', and Abinadab, and Eshba'al.
40 Hijo de Jonatán fue Merib-baal, y Merib-baal engendró a Micaía.
And the son of Jehonathan was Merib-ba'al: and Merib-ba'al begat Michah.
41 Los hijos de Micaía fueron Pitón, Melec, Tarea y Acaz.
And the sons of Michah were, Pithon, and Melech, and Thachrea'.
42 Acaz engendró a Jara, y Jara a Alemet, Azmavet y Zimri, y Zimri a Mosa,
And Achaz begat Ja'rah; and Ja'rah begat 'Alemeth, 'Azmaveth, and Zimri; and Zimri begat Moza;
43 Mosa a Bina, cuyo hijo fue Refaías, del cual fue hijo Elasa, del cual Azel fue hijo.
And Moza begat Bin'a; ! and Rephayah his son, El'assah his son, Azel his son.
44 Azel tuvo seis hijos, cuyos nombres son: Azricam, Bocru, Ismael, Searías, Obadías y Hanán.
And Azel had six sons, and these are their names, 'Azrikam, Bocheru, and Ishmael, and She'aryah, and 'Obadiah, and Chanan: these were the sons of Azel.
