1 Crónicas 24
1 Ahora, los hijos de Aarón fueron distribuidos en grupos. Los hijos de Aarón fueron Nadab, Abiú, Eleazar e Itamar.
And the courses of the sons of Aaron [were these]. The sons of Aaron; Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.
2 Pero como Nadab y Abiú murieron antes que su padre, y no tuvieron hijos, Eleazar e Itamar ejercieron el sacerdocio.
But Nadab and Abihu died before their father, and had no children: therefore Eleazar and Ithamar executed the priest office.
3 David y Sadoc repartieron a los hijos de Eleazar, los hijos de Ahimelec y los hijos de Itamar por turnos en el ministerio.
And David with Zadok of the sons of Eleazar, and Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar, divided them according to their ordering in their service.
4 Pero como había más varones jefes de los hijos de Eleazar que de los hijos de Itamar, los repartieron así: De los hijos de Eleazar, 16 jefes de casas paternas, y de los hijos de Itamar ocho jefes de casas paternas.
And there were more chief men found of the sons of Eleazar than of the sons of Ithamar; and [thus] were they divided: of the sons of Eleazar there were sixteen, heads of father’s houses; and of the sons of Ithamar, according to their fathers’ houses, eight.
5 De esta manera fueron repartidos por sorteo los unos y los otros, porque tanto de los hijos de Eleazar como de los hijos de Itamar hubo funcionarios del Santuario y funcionarios de ʼElohim.
Thus were they divided by lot, one sort with another; for there were princes of the sanctuary, and princes of God, both of the sons of Eleazar, and of the sons of Ithamar.
6 El escriba Semaías, hijo de Natanael, de los levitas, escribió sus nombres en presencia del rey y de los jefes, delante de Sadoc el sacerdote, de Ahimelec, hijo de Abiatar, y de los jefes de las casas paternas de los sacerdotes y levitas. Designaron por sorteo una casa paterna para Eleazar y otra para Itamar.
And Shemaiah the son of Nethanel the scribe, who was of the Levites, wrote them in the presence of the king, and the princes, and Zadok the priest, and Ahimelech the son of Abiathar, and the heads of the fathers’ [houses] of the priests and of the Levites: one fathers’ house being taken for Eleazar, and one taken for Ithamar.
7 La primera suerte tocó a Joiarib, la segunda a Jedaías,
Now the first lot came forth to Jehoiarib, the second to Jedaiah;
8 la tercera a Harim, la cuarta a Seorim,
the third to Harim, the fourth to Seorim;
9 la quinta a Malquías, la sexta a Mijamín,
the fifth to Malchijah, the sixth to Mijamin;
10 la séptima a Cos, la octava a Abías,
the seventh to Hakkoz, the eighth to Abijah;
11 la novena a Jesúa, la décima a Secanías,
the ninth to Jeshua, the tenth to Shecaniah;
12 la undécima a Eliasib, la duodécimma a Jaquim,
the eleventh to Eliashib, the twelfth to Jakim;
13 la decimotercera a Hupa, la decimocuarta a Jesebeab,
the thirteenth to Huppah, the fourteenth to Jeshebeab;
14 la decimoquinta a Bilga, la decimosexta a Imer,
the fifteenth to Bilgah, the sixteenth to Immer;
15 la decimoséptima a Hezir, la decimoctava a Afses,
the seventeenth to Hezir, the eighteenth to Happizzez;
16 la decimonovena a Petaías, la vigésima a Hezequiel,
the nineteenth to Pethahiah, the twentieth to Jehezkel;
17 la vigesimoprimera a Jaquín, la vigesimosegunda a Gamul,
the one and twentieth to Jachin, the two and twentieth to Gamul;
18 la vigesimotercera a Delaía, la vigesimocuarta a Maazías.
the three and twentieth to Delaiah, the four and twentieth to Maaziah.
19 Éstos fueron distribuidos para su ministerio, para que entraran en la Casa de Yavé, según les fue ordenado por su padre Aarón, de la manera como Yavé ʼElohim de Israel le mandó.
This was the ordering of them in their service, to come into the house of the LORD according to the ordinance [given] unto them by the hand of Aaron their father, as the LORD, the God of Israel, had commanded him.
20 De los hijos de Leví que quedaron fueron designados: Subael, de los hijos de Amram y Jehedías, de los hijos de Subael.
And of the rest of the sons of Levi: of the sons of Amram, Shubael; of the sons of Shubael, Jehdeiah.
21 De los hijos de Rehabías, Isías el primero.
Of Rehabiah: of the sons of Rehabiah, Isshiah the chief.
22 De los izharitas, Selomot. De los hijos de Selomot, Jahat.
Of the Izharites, Shelomoth; of the sons of Shelomoth, Jahath.
23 De los hijos de Hebrón, Jerías el primero, Amarías el segundo, Jahaziel el tercero, Jecamán el cuarto.
And the sons [of Hebron]; Jeriah [the chief], Amariah the second, Jahaziel the third, Jekameam the fourth.
24 De los hijo de Uziel, Micaía. De los hijos de Micaía, Samir.
The sons of Uzziel, Micah; of the sons of Micah, Shamir.
25 El hermano de Micaía, Isías. De los hijos de Isías, Zacarías.
The brother of Micah, Isshiah: of the sons of Isshiah, Zechariah.
26 De los hijos de Merari: Mahli y Musi. De los hijos de Jaazías, Beno.
The sons of Merari; Mahli and Mushi: the sons of Jaaziah; Beno.
27 Los hijos de Merari por medio de Jaazías fueron: Beno, Soham, Zacur e Ibri.
The sons of Merari; of Jaaziah, Beno, and Shoham, and Zaccur, and Ibri.
28 De Mahli, Eleazar, quien no tuvo hijos.
Of Mahli; Eleazar, who had no sons.
29 De Cis, hijo de Cis, Jerameel.
Of Kish; the sons of Kish, Jerahmeel.
30 Los hijos de Musi: Mahli, Edar y Jerimot. Éstos fueron los hijos de los levitas según sus casas paternas.
And the sons of Mushi; Mahli, and Eder, and Jerimoth. These were the sons of the Levites after their fathers’ houses.
31 Éstos también echaron suertes, como sus hermanos, los hijos de Aarón, en presencia del rey David, Sadoc, Ahimelec y los jefes de las casas paternas, tanto de los sacerdotes como de los levitas, las casas paternas de los jefes y el menor de sus hermanos por igual.
These likewise cast lots even as their brethren the sons of Aaron in the presence of David the king, and Zadok, and Ahimelech, and the heads of the fathers’ [houses] of the priests and of the Levites; the fathers’ [houses] of the chief even as those of his younger brother.
