Romanos 15

1 Ahora bien, los que somos fuertes debemos soportar las debilidades de los débiles, y no complacernos a nosotros mismos.

Now we who are strong ought to bear with the limitations of the weak, and not to please ourselves.

2 Cada uno de nosotros debe complacer a su prójimo en lo que es bueno, para ir edificándolo.

Let each of us please the neighbor with a view to what is good for edifying.

3 Porque ni siquiera Cristo se complació a sí mismo. Sino que, como está escrito, “los reproches de los que os reprochaban cayeron sobre mí”.

Because even the Christ did not please Himself; rather, as it is written: “The revilings of those reviling you fell on me.”

4 Porque todo lo que se ha escrito antes, se ha escrito para que aprendamos, a fin de que, mediante la perseverancia y el estímulo de las Escrituras, tengamos esperanza.

Whatever things were written before were so written for our instruction, so that through the fortitude and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.

5 Ahora bien, el Dios de la perseverancia y del estímulo os conceda que tengáis un mismo sentir los unos con los otros según Cristo Jesús,

Now may the God of that fortitude and that encouragement grant you to be of the same mind among yourselves according to Christ Jesus,

6 para que unánimes glorifiquéis con una sola boca al Dios y Padre de nuestro Señor Jesucristo.

so that you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ with one heart and voice.

7 Por tanto, aceptaos los unos a los otros, como también Cristo os aceptó a vosotros, para gloria de Dios.

Therefore accept one another, just as the Christ also accepted us, to the glory of God.

8 Ahora bien, digo que Cristo se ha hecho siervo de la circuncisión por la verdad de Dios, para confirmar las promesas dadas a los padres,

Now I say that Christ Jesus has become a minister to the circumcised on behalf of God's truth, in order to confirm the promises to the fathers;

9 y para que los gentiles glorifiquen a Dios por su misericordia. Como está escrito, “Por eso te alabaré entre los gentiles y cantar a tu nombre”.

and that the Gentiles might glorify God for His mercy, as it is written: “For this reason I will give praise to you among the Gentiles, O Lord, and will sing psalms to your name.”

10 De nuevo dice, “Alegraos, gentiles, con su pueblo”.

And again He says: “Rejoice, O Gentiles, with His people!”

11 de nuevo, “¡Alabad al Señor, todos los gentiles! Que todos los pueblos lo alaben”.

And again: “Praise the Lord, all you Gentiles, and laud Him, all you peoples!”

12 De nuevo, Isaías dice, “Habrá la raíz de Jesse, el que se levanta para gobernar a los gentiles; en él esperarán los gentiles”.

And again, Isaiah says: “The Root of Jesse will appear, even He who rises up to rule over the nations; the Gentiles will place their hope on Him.”

13 Que el Dios de la esperanza os llene de toda alegría y paz en la fe, para que abundéis en la esperanza con la fuerza del Espíritu Santo.

Now may the God of the hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you may abound in that hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

14 Yo mismo estoy persuadido de vosotros, hermanos míos, de que vosotros mismos estáis llenos de bondad, llenos de todo conocimiento, capaces también de amonestar a los demás.

Now I myself am really confident about you, my brothers, that you yourselves are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish others.

15 Pero os escribo con mayor audacia, en parte como recordatorio, por la gracia que me ha sido concedida por Dios,

Nevertheless I have written to you quite boldly on some points, brothers, as a reminder to you, because of the grace given to me by God,

16 para ser siervo de Cristo Jesús para los gentiles, sirviendo como sacerdote de la Buena Nueva de Dios, para que la ofrenda de los gentiles sea aceptable, santificada por el Espíritu Santo.

that I should be a minister of Jesus Christ to the nations, serving the Gospel of God as a priest so that the Gentiles might become an acceptable offering, sanctified by Holy Spirit.

17 Tengo, pues, mi jactancia en Cristo Jesús en las cosas que pertenecen a Dios.

So in Christ Jesus I do have a boast in things pertaining to God;

18 Porque no me atreveré a hablar de ninguna cosa, sino de las que Cristo ha obrado por medio de mí para la obediencia de los gentiles, con palabras y con hechos,

because I do not presume to speak of anything except those things that Christ has accomplished through me to make the Gentiles obedient—by word and deed,

19 con el poder de las señales y de los prodigios, con el poder del Espíritu de Dios; de modo que desde Jerusalén y alrededor hasta Ilírico, he predicado plenamente la Buena Nueva de Cristo;

by the power of signs and wonders, by the power of God's Spirit, so that I have fully proclaimed the Gospel of the Christ from Jerusalem all the way around to Illyricum.

20 sí, poniendo como objetivo predicar la Buena Nueva, no donde ya se nombraba a Cristo, para no edificar sobre fundamento ajeno.

It has always been my aim to evangelize where Christ has not been named, so that I would not be building on someone else's foundation;

21 Pero, como está escrito, “Verán, a quienes no les llegó ninguna noticia de él. Los que no han oído lo entenderán”.

rather, as it is written: “Those to whom He was not announced will see, and those who have not heard will understand.”

22 Por eso también me han impedido estas muchas veces ir a ti,

That is why I have been hindered these many times from coming to you.

23 pero ahora, no teniendo ya lugar en estas regiones, y teniendo estos muchos años el anhelo de ir a ti,

But now, no longer having a place in these parts, and having a longing these many years to come to you,

24 siempre que viaje a España, iré a ti. Porque espero veros en mi viaje y que me ayudéis en mi camino, si antes puedo disfrutar de vuestra compañía durante un tiempo.

whenever I travel to Spain I will come to you. Because I hope to see you while passing through, and to be sent on my way there by you, if I may first enjoy your company for a while.

25 Pero ahora, digo, me voy a Jerusalén, a servir a los santos.

Now, however, I am traveling to Jerusalem, serving the saints.

26 Porque a Macedonia y Acaya les ha parecido bien hacer una contribución para los pobres de los santos que están en Jerusalén.

Because Macedonia and Achaia were pleased to make a certain contribution for the poor among the saints in Jerusalem.

27 Sí, les ha parecido bien, y son sus deudores. Porque si los gentiles han sido hechos partícipes de sus cosas espirituales, también les deben servir en las cosas materiales.

Yes, they were pleased, and they are indebted to them. For if the Gentiles have shared in their spiritual things, they are also obligated to minister to them in physical things.

28 Así pues, cuando haya cumplido esto y les haya sellado este fruto, seguiré por tu camino hacia España.

So when I have finished this and have sealed to them this ‘fruit’, I will go by way of you to Spain.

29 Sé que cuando vaya a ustedes, iré en la plenitud de la bendición de la Buena Nueva de Cristo.

And I know that when I come to you, I will come in the fullness of the blessing of the Gospel of the Christ.

30 Ahora os ruego, hermanos, por nuestro Señor Jesucristo y por el amor del Espíritu, que os esforcéis junto conmigo en vuestras oraciones a Dios por mí,

Now I implore you, brothers, by our Lord Jesus Christ and by the love of the Spirit, to strive together with me in prayers to God on my behalf,

31 para que sea librado de los desobedientes de Judea, y para que mi servicio que tengo para Jerusalén sea aceptable a los santos,

that I may be delivered from those in Judea who do not believe, and that my service to Jerusalem may be well received by the saints;

32 para que pueda llegar a vosotros con alegría por la voluntad de Dios, y junto con vosotros, encontrar el descanso.

so that I may come to you with joy by the will of God and be refreshed together with you.

33 El Dios de la paz esté con todos vosotros. Amén.

Now the God of peace be with you all. Amen.
