Apocalipsis 21
1 Vi un cielo nuevo y una tierra nueva, porque el primer cielo y la primera tierra pasaron, y el mar ya no existe.
And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth passed away; and the sea is no more.
2 Vi la ciudad santa, la Nueva Jerusalén, bajando del cielo desde Dios, preparada como una novia adornada para su esposo.
And I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of the heaven from God, prepared as a bride is adorned for her husband.
3 Oí una fuerte voz del cielo que decía: “He aquí que la morada de Dios está con el pueblo; y él habitará con ellos, y ellos serán su pueblo, y Dios mismo estará con ellos como su Dios.
And I heard a great voice speaking from the throne, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with the people, and he will tabernacle with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them:
4 Enjugará toda lágrima de sus ojos. La muerte ya no existirá, ni habrá más luto, ni llanto, ni dolor. Las primeras cosas han pasado”.
and he will wipe every tear out of their eyes; and there will be no more death, neither will there be any more sorrow, nor crying, nor pain: because the former things have passed away.
5 El que está sentado en el trono dijo: “He aquí que hago nuevas todas las cosas”. Dijo: “Escribe, porque estas palabras de Dios son fieles y verdaderas”.
And the one sitting on the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he says, Write: that these words are faithful and true.
6 Me dijo: “Yo soy el Alfa y la Omega, el Principio y el Fin. Al que tenga sed le daré gratuitamente del manantial del agua de la vida.
And he said to me, They are done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. To him who thirsts I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely.
7 Al que venza, le daré estas cosas. Yo seré su Dios, y él será mi hijo.
The one conquering shall inherit all things; and I will be to him God, and he shall be to me a son.
9 Vino uno de los siete ángeles que tenían las siete copas cargadas con las siete últimas plagas, y habló conmigo diciendo: “Ven aquí. Te mostraré la novia, la esposa del Cordero”.
And one of the seven angels having the seven bowls filled with the seven last plagues, came and spoke with me, saying, Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.
10 Me llevó en el Espíritu a un monte grande y alto, y me mostró la ciudad santa, Jerusalén, que descendía del cielo, de Dios,
And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the holy city, Jerusalem, coming down out of the heaven from God,
11 con la gloria de Dios. Su luz era como una piedra preciosísima, como una piedra de jaspe, clara como el cristal;
having the glory of God: and her light was like a stone most precious, as a crystalline, jasper stone;
12 tenía un muro grande y alto con doce puertas, y a las puertas doce ángeles, y nombres escritos en ellas, que son los nombres de las doce tribus de los hijos de Israel.
having a wall great and high, having twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written upon them, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the sons of Israel.
13 Al este había tres puertas, al norte tres puertas, al sur tres puertas y al oeste tres puertas.
From the east, three gates; and from the north, three gates; and from the south, three gates; and from the west, three gates.
14 El muro de la ciudad tenía doce cimientos, y en ellos doce nombres de los doce Apóstoles del Cordero.
And the wall of the city having twelve foundations, and on them the twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
15 El que hablaba conmigo tenía como medida una caña de oro para medir la ciudad, sus puertas y sus muros.
And the one speaking with me, had a measure, a golden reed, that he might measure the city, and its gates, and its wall.
16 La ciudad es cuadrada. Su longitud es tan grande como su anchura. Midió la ciudad con la caña: doce mil doce estadios. Su longitud, su anchura y su altura son iguales.
And the city lies foursquare, and its length is as great as the breadth. And he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs; and the length, and the breadth, and the height of it are equal.
17 Su muro tiene ciento cuarenta y cuatro codos, según la medida de un hombre, es decir, de un ángel.
And he measured the wall of it, a hundred and forty-four cubits, the measure of the man, that is of the angel.
18 La construcción de su muro era de jaspe. La ciudad era de oro puro, como el vidrio puro.
And the building of the wall was jasper: and the city pure gold, like transparent glass.
19 Los cimientos de la muralla de la ciudad estaban adornados con toda clase de piedras preciosas. El primer cimiento era de jaspe; el segundo, de zafiro; el tercero, de calcedonia; el cuarto, de esmeralda;
And the foundations of the wall of the city were ornamented with every precious stone: the first foundation, jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, chalcedon; the fourth, emerald; the fifth, sardonyx;
20 el quinto, de sardónica; el sexto, de sardio; el séptimo, de crisolita; el octavo, de berilo; el noveno, de topacio; el décimo, de crisoprasa; el undécimo, de jacinto; y el duodécimo, de amatista.
the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, topaz; the tenth, chrysoprase; the eleventh, hyacinth; the twelfth, amethyst.
21 Las doce puertas eran doce perlas. Cada una de las puertas estaba hecha de una perla. La calle de la ciudad era de oro puro, como el cristal transparente.
The twelve gates are twelve pearls; each one of the gates was of one pearl. And the street of the city is pure gold, like transparent glass.
22 No vi ningún templo en ella, porque el Señor Dios Todopoderoso y el Cordero son su templo.
And I saw no temple in it: for the Lord God Almighty, and the Lamb, is its temple.
23 La ciudad no necesita que brillen el sol ni la luna, porque la gloria misma de Dios la ilumina y su lámpara es el Cordero.
And the city has no need of the sun, nor of the moon, that they may light it:
24 Las naciones caminarán a su luz. Los reyes de la tierra llevan a ella la gloria y el honor de las naciones.
and the nations will walk about through its light: and the kings of the earth will bring their glory into it.
25 Sus puertas no se cerrarán de día (porque allí no habrá noche),
And the gates of it shall in no wise be shut in the day, for there will be no night there;
26 y traerán a ella la gloria y el honor de las naciones para que puedan entrar.
and they will bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it.
27 De ninguna manera entrará en ella nada profano, ni nadie que cause abominación o mentira, sino sólo los que están escritos en el libro de la vida del Cordero.
And nothing unclean, and the one doing abomination, and falsehood, can at all enter into it: none except those who are written in the Lamb's book of life.
