Apocalipsis 16
1 Oí una fuerte voz que salía del templo y decía a los siete ángeles: “¡Vayan y derramen las siete copas de la ira de Dios sobre la tierra!”
And I heard a loud voice from the sanctuary saying to the seven angels, “Go, pour out the bowls of God's fury on the earth.”
2 El primero fue y derramó su copa en la tierra, y se convirtió en una llaga dañina y maligna para el pueblo que tenía la marca de la bestia y que adoraban su imagen.
So off went the first one and poured out his bowl on the earth, and a foul and malignant ulcer appeared in the people who had the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image.
3 El segundo ángel derramó su copa en el mar, y éste se convirtió en sangre como de un muerto. Todo ser vivo en el mar murió.
Then the second angel poured out his bowl on the sea, and it turned into blood, like a dead person's; so every living soul in the sea died.
4 El tercero derramó su copa en los ríos y manantiales de agua, y se convirtieron en sangre.
Then the third angel poured out his bowl on the rivers and the springs of water, and they turned into blood.
5 Oí al ángel de las aguas decir: “Tú eres justo, que eres y que eras, oh Santo, porque has juzgado estas cosas.
And I heard the angel of the waters saying: “How just You are! The One who is and who was, the holy One, because You have judged these things.
6 Porque han derramado la sangre de los santos y de los profetas, y tú les has dado de beber sangre. Ellos merecen esto”.
Because they shed the blood of saints and prophets, and You have given them blood to drink. They deserve it!”
7 Oí decir al altar: “Sí, Señor Dios, el Todopoderoso, verdaderos y justos son tus juicios”.
And I heard one from the altar saying: “Yes, O Lord God, the Almighty! Your judgings are true and just!”
8 El cuarto derramó su copa sobre el sol, y le fue dado quemar a los hombres con fuego.
Then the fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and it was granted to him to burn the people with fire.
9 La gente se quemó con gran calor, y la gente blasfemó el nombre de Dios que tiene el poder sobre estas plagas. No se arrepintieron ni le dieron gloria.
So the people were burned with severe burns, and they blasphemed the name of God, who has authority over these plagues. And they did not repent to give Him glory.
10 El quinto derramó su copa sobre el trono de la bestia, y su reino se oscureció. Se mordieron la lengua a causa del dolor,
Then the fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the Beast, and his kingdom was plunged into darkness; so they gnawed their tongues because of the pain.
11 y blasfemaron del Dios del cielo a causa de sus dolores y de sus llagas. Todavía no se arrepintieron de sus obras.
And they blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains, and because of their ulcers; yet they did not repent of their deeds.
12 El sexto derramó su copa sobre el gran río Éufrates. Sus aguas se secaron, para que se preparara el camino a los reyes que vienen del amanecer.
Then the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up, so that the way for the kings from the sun's rising might be prepared.
13 Vi salir de la boca del dragón, y de la boca de la bestia, y de la boca del falso profeta, tres espíritus inmundos, semejantes a ranas;
And I saw three unclean spirits, like frogs, coming out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the Beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.
14 porque son espíritus de demonios, que hacen señales, y que van a los reyes de toda la tierra habitada, para reunirlos para la guerra de aquel gran día del Dios Todopoderoso.
For they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the whole inhabited earth, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.
15 “He aquí que vengo como un ladrón. Bienaventurado el que vela y guarda su ropa, para que no ande desnudo y vean su vergüenza.”
(“Watch out, I am coming like a thief. Blessed is the one who watches and guards his clothes, so that he not walk about naked and they see his shame.”)
16 Los reunió en el lugar que en hebreo se llama “Harmagedón”.
So he gathered them to the place called in Hebrew, Armagedon.
17 El séptimo derramó su copa en el aire. Una fuerte voz salió del templo del cielo, del trono, diciendo: “¡Está hecho!”
Then the seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air, and a great voice came out of the sanctuary of heaven, from the Throne, saying, “It is done!”
18 Hubo relámpagos, estruendos y truenos, y se produjo un gran terremoto como no se había producido desde que hay hombres en la tierra: un terremoto tan grande y tan poderoso.
and there were lightnings and thunders and noises. And there was a tremendous earthquake, a terribly severe earthquake such as had not occurred since mankind existed on the earth.
19 La gran ciudad se dividió en tres partes, y las ciudades de las naciones cayeron. La gran Babilonia fue recordada ante los ojos de Dios, para darle la copa del vino del furor de su ira.
So the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. And Babylon the great was remembered before God, to give her the cup of the wine of the fury of His wrath.
20 Todas las islas huyeron, y los montes no se encontraron.
And every island fled, and mountains were not found.
21 Grandes piedras de granizo, del peso de un talento, cayeron del cielo sobre la gente. La gente blasfemaba contra Dios a causa de la plaga del granizo, pues esta plaga era sumamente grave.
And huge hailstones, weighing about a talent, fell out of the sky on the people; and the people blasphemed God on account of the plague of the hail, because its plague was exceedingly severe.
