Salmos 96

1 ¡Cantad a Yahvé un cántico nuevo! Cantad a Yahvé, toda la tierra.

O SING unto the LORD a new song: sing unto the LORD, all the earth.

2 ¡Canta a Yahvé! ¡Bendito sea su nombre! ¡Proclama su salvación de día en día!

Sing unto the LORD, bless his name; shew forth his salvation from day to day.

3 Anuncia su gloria entre las naciones, sus obras maravillosas entre todos los pueblos.

Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples.

4 Porque Yahvé es grande y digno de gran alabanza. Debe ser temido por encima de todos los dioses.

For great is the LORD, and highly to be praised: he is to be feared above all gods.

5 Porque todos los dioses de los pueblos son ídolos, pero Yahvé hizo los cielos.

For all the gods of the peoples are idols: but the LORD made the heavens.

6 El honor y la majestad están ante él. La fuerza y la belleza están en su santuario.

Honour and majesty are before him: strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.

7 Atribúyanse a Yahvé, familias de naciones, atribuir a Yahvé la gloria y la fuerza.

Give unto the LORD, ye kindreds of the peoples, give unto the LORD glory and strength.

8 Atribuye a Yahvé la gloria que merece su nombre. Traed una ofrenda y venid a sus atrios.

Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come into his courts.

9 Adoren a Yahvé en forma sagrada. Temblad ante él, toda la tierra.

O worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness: tremble before him, all the earth.

10 Di entre las naciones: “Yahvé reina”. El mundo también está establecido. No se puede mover. Él juzgará a los pueblos con equidad.

Say among the nations, The LORD reigneth: the world also is stablished that it cannot be moved: he shall judge the peoples with equity.

11 Que se alegren los cielos y se regocije la tierra. ¡Que el mar ruge, y su plenitud!

Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice; let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof;

12 ¡Que el campo y todo lo que hay en él se alegre! Entonces todos los árboles del bosque cantarán de alegría

Let the field exult, and all that is therein; then shall all the trees of the wood sing for joy;

13 delante de Yahvé; porque él viene, porque viene a juzgar la tierra. Él juzgará al mundo con justicia, los pueblos con su verdad.

Before the LORD, for he cometh; for he cometh to judge the earth: he shall judge the world with righteousness, and the peoples with his truth.
