Salmos 75

1 Para el músico jefe. Con la melodía de “No destruyas”. Un salmo de Asaf. Una canción. Te damos gracias, Dios. Damos gracias, porque tu Nombre está cerca. Los hombres cuentan tus obras maravillosas.

For the Leader; Al-tashheth. A Psalm of Asaph, a Song. We give thanks unto Thee, O God, we give thanks, and Thy name is near; men tell of Thy wondrous works.

2 Cuando elijo la hora señalada, Yo juzgaré sin culpa.

'When I take the appointed time, I Myself will judge with equity.

3 La tierra y todos sus habitantes tiemblan. Sostengo firmemente sus pilares. (Selah)

When the earth and all the inhabitants thereof are dissolved, I Myself establish the pillars of it.' (Selah)

4 Dije a los arrogantes: “¡No te jactes!” Les dije a los malvados: “No levanten el cuerno.

I say unto the arrogant: 'Deal not arrogantly'; and to the wicked: 'Lift not up the horn.'

5 No levantes tu cuerno en alto. No hables con el cuello rígido”.

Lift not up your horn on high; speak not insolence with a haughty neck.

6 Porque ni desde el este, ni desde el oeste, ni aún del sur, viene la exaltación.

For neither from the east, nor from the west, nor yet from the wilderness, cometh lifting up.

7 Pero Dios es el juez. Deja a uno y levanta a otro.

For God is judge; He putteth down one, and lifteth up another.

8 Porque en la mano de Yahvé hay una copa, lleno de vino espumoso mezclado con especias. Lo vierte. En efecto, los malvados de la tierra beben y se lo beben hasta las heces.

For in the hand of the LORD there is a cup, with foaming wine, full of mixture, and He poureth out of the same; surely the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall drain them, and drink them.

9 Pero yo lo declararé para siempre: Cantaré alabanzas al Dios de Jacob.

But as for me, I will declare for ever, I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.

10 Cortaré todos los cuernos de los malvados, pero los cuernos de los justos serán levantados.

All the horns of the wicked also will I cut off; but the horns of the righteous shall be lifted up.
