Salmos 73
1 Un salmo de Asaf. Ciertamente Dios es bueno con Israel, a los puros de corazón.
A Psalme committed to Asaph. Yet God is good to Israel: euen, to the pure in heart.
2 Pero en cuanto a mí, mis pies estaban casi perdidos. Mis pasos estuvieron a punto de resbalar.
As for me, my feete were almost gone: my steps had well neere slipt.
3 Porque tuve envidia de los arrogantes, cuando vi la prosperidad de los malvados.
For I feared at the foolish, when I sawe the prosperitie of the wicked.
4 Porque no hay luchas en su muerte, pero su fuerza es firme.
For there are no bandes in their death, but they are lustie and strong.
5 Están libres de las cargas de los hombres, ni están plagados como los demás hombres.
They are not in trouble as other men, neither are they plagued with other men.
6 Por eso el orgullo es como una cadena alrededor de su cuello. La violencia los cubre como una prenda.
Therefore pride is as a chayne vnto them, and crueltie couereth them as a garment.
7 Sus ojos están llenos de grasa. Sus mentes sobrepasan los límites de la presunción.
Their eyes stande out for fatnesse: they haue more then heart can wish.
8 Se burlan y hablan con malicia. En la arrogancia, amenazan con la opresión.
They are licentious, and speake wickedly of their oppression: they talke presumptuously.
9 Han puesto su boca en los cielos. Su lengua camina por la tierra.
They set their mouth against heauen, and their tongue walketh through the earth.
10 Por eso su pueblo vuelve a ellos, y beben agua en abundancia.
Therefore his people turne hither: for waters of a full cup are wrung out to them.
11 Dicen: “¿Cómo lo sabe Dios? ¿Hay conocimiento en el Altísimo?”
And they say, Howe doeth God know it? or is there knowledge in the most High?
12 He aquí, estos son los malvados. Estando siempre a gusto, aumentan sus riquezas.
Lo, these are the wicked, yet prosper they alway, and increase in riches.
13 Seguramente he limpiado mi corazón en vano, y me lavé las manos con inocencia,
Certainely I haue clensed mine heart in vaine, and washed mine hands in innocencie.
14 Porque todo el día he estado atormentado, y castigado cada mañana.
For dayly haue I bene punished, and chastened euery morning.
15 Si hubiera dicho: “Voy a hablar así”, he aquí que habría traicionado a la generación de tus hijos.
If I say, I will iudge thus, beholde the generation of thy children: I haue trespassed.
16 Cuando traté de entender esto, era demasiado doloroso para mí...
Then thought I to know this, but it was too painefull for me,
17 hasta que entré en el santuario de Dios, y consideró su último fin.
Vntill I went into the Sanctuarie of God: then vnderstoode I their ende.
18 Seguramente los pusiste en lugares resbaladizos. Los arrojas a la destrucción.
Surely thou hast set them in slipperie places, and castest them downe into desolation.
19 ¡Cómo se destruyen de repente! Están completamente arrastrados por los terrores.
How suddenly are they destroyed, perished and horribly consumed,
20 Como un sueño cuando uno se despierta, así que, Señor, cuando despierte, despreciará sus fantasías.
As a dreame when one awaketh! O Lord, when thou raisest vs vp, thou shalt make their image despised.
21 Porque mi alma se afligió. Estaba amargado en mi corazón.
Certainely mine heart was vexed, and I was pricked in my reines:
22 Era tan insensible e ignorante. Yo era una bestia bruta antes de ti.
So foolish was I and ignorant: I was a beast before thee.
23 Sin embargo, yo estoy continuamente con vosotros. Has sostenido mi mano derecha.
Yet I was alway with thee: thou hast holden me by my right hand.
24 Me guiarás con tu consejo, y después recibirme en la gloria.
Thou wilt guide me by thy counsell, and afterward receiue me to glory.
25 ¿A quién tengo en el cielo? No hay nadie en la tierra a quien desee además de ti.
Whom haue I in heauen but thee? and I haue desired none in the earth with thee.
26 Mi carne y mi corazón fallan, pero Dios es la fuerza de mi corazón y mi porción para siempre.
My flesh fayleth and mine heart also: but God is the strength of mine heart, and my portion for euer.
27 Porque, he aquí, los que están lejos de ti perecerán. Has destruido a todos los que te son infieles.
For loe, they that withdrawe themselues from thee, shall perish: thou destroyest all them that goe a whoring from thee.
28 Pero me conviene acercarme a Dios. He hecho del Señor Yahvé mi refugio, para que pueda contar todas tus obras.
As for me, it is good for me to draw neere to God: therefore I haue put my trust in the Lord God, that I may declare all thy workes.
