Salmos 7
1 Meditación de David, que cantó a Yahvé, sobre las palabras de Cus, el benjamita. Yahvé, Dios mío, en ti me refugio. Sálvame de todos los que me persiguen y líbrame,
Shiggaion of David, which he sang unto the LORD, concerning Cush a Benjamite. O LORD my God, in Thee have I taken refuge; save me from all them that pursue me, and deliver me;
2 para que no desgarren mi alma como un león, rompiéndolo en pedazos, mientras no hay nadie que lo entregue.
Lest he tear my soul like a lion, rending it in pieces, while there is none to deliver.
3 Yahvé, Dios mío, si he hecho esto, si hay iniquidad en mis manos,
O LORD my God, if I have done this; if there be iniquity in my hands;
4 si he premiado con el mal al que estaba en paz conmigo (sí, he liberado al que sin causa era mi adversario),
If I have requited him that did evil unto me, or spoiled mine adversary unto emptiness;
5 que el enemigo persiga mi alma y la alcance; sí, que pise mi vida hasta la tierra, y poner mi gloria en el polvo. (Selah)
Let the enemy pursue my soul, and overtake it, and tread my life down to the earth; yea, let him lay my glory in the dust. (Selah)
6 Levántate, Yahvé, en tu ira. Levántate contra la furia de mis adversarios. Despierta por mí. Has ordenado el juicio.
Arise, O LORD, in Thine anger, lift up Thyself in indignation against mine adversaries; yea, awake for me at the judgment which Thou hast commanded.
7 Que la congregación de los pueblos te rodee. Gobierna sobre ellos en las alturas.
And let the congregation of the peoples compass Thee about, and over them return Thou on high.
8 Yahvé administra el juicio a los pueblos. Júzgame, Yahvé, según mi justicia, y a la integridad que hay en mí.
O LORD, who ministerest judgment to the peoples, judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity that is in me.
9 Oh, que la maldad de los malvados llegue a su fin, sino que establece a los justos; sus mentes y corazones son escudriñados por el Dios justo.
Oh that a full measure of evil might come upon the wicked, and that Thou wouldest establish the righteous; for the righteous God trieth the heart and reins.
10 Mi escudo está con Dios, que salva a los rectos de corazón.
My shield is with God, who saveth the upright in heart.
11 Dios es un juez justo, Sí, un Dios que se indigna cada día.
God is a righteous judge, yea, a God that hath indignation every day:
12 Si un hombre no se arrepiente, afilará su espada; ha doblado y encordado su arco.
If a man turn not, He will whet His sword, He hath bent His bow, and made it ready;
13 También ha preparado para sí mismo los instrumentos de la muerte. Prepara sus flechas de fuego.
He hath also prepared for him the weapons of death, yea, His arrows which He made sharp.
14 He aquí que se afana en la iniquidad. Sí, ha concebido una travesura, y sacó a relucir la falsedad.
Behold, he travaileth with iniquity; yea, he conceiveth mischief, and bringeth forth falsehood.
15 Ha cavado un agujero, y ha caído en el pozo que hizo.
He hath digged a pit, and hollowed it, and is fallen into the ditch which he made.
16 La molestia que cause volverá a su propia cabeza. Su violencia caerá sobre la corona de su propia cabeza.
His mischief shall return upon his own head, and his violence shall come down upon his own pate.
17 Daré gracias a Yahvé según su justicia, y cantarán alabanzas al nombre de Yahvé el Altísimo.
I will give thanks unto the LORD according to His righteousness; and will sing praise to the name of the LORD Most High.
