Salmos 46
1 Por el jefe de los músicos. Por los hijos de Coré. Según Alamot. Dios es nuestro refugio y nuestra fuerza, una ayuda muy presente en los problemas.
“For the leader of the music. Of, or for, the sons of Korah. To be sung in the manner, or with the voice, of virgins.” God is our refuge and strength; An ever present help in trouble.
2 Por eso no tendremos miedo, aunque la tierra cambie, aunque las montañas se agiten en el corazón de los mares;
Therefore will we not fear, though the earth be changed; Though the mountains tremble in the heart of the sea;
3 aunque sus aguas rugen y se agitan, aunque las montañas tiemblen con su hinchazón. (Selah)
Though its waters roar and be troubled, And the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. (Pause)
4 Hay un río cuyas corrientes alegran la ciudad de Dios, el lugar santo de las tiendas del Altísimo.
A river with its streams shall make glad the city of God, The holy dwelling-place of the Most High.
5 Dios está dentro de ella. Ella no será movida. Dios la ayudará al amanecer.
God is the midst of her; she shall not be moved; God will help her, and that full early.
6 Las naciones se enfurecieron. Los reinos se conmovieron. Levantó la voz y la tierra se derritió.
The nations raged; kingdoms were moved; He uttered his voice, the earth melted.
7 El Señor de los Ejércitos está con nosotros. El Dios de Jacob es nuestro refugio. (Selah)
The LORD of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge. (Pause)
8 Vengan, vean las obras de Yahvé, qué desolaciones ha hecho en la tierra.
Come, behold the doings of the LORD; What desolations he hath made in the earth!
9 Hace cesar las guerras hasta el fin de la tierra. Rompe el arco y destroza la lanza. Quema los carros en el fuego.
He causeth wars to cease to the end of the earth; He hath broken the bow, and snapped the spear asunder, And burned the chariots in fire.
10 “Estad tranquilos y sabed que yo soy Dios. Seré exaltado entre las naciones. Seré exaltado en la tierra”.
“Desist, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted throughout the earth!”
11 Yahvéde los Ejércitos está con nosotros. El Dios de Jacob es nuestro refugio. (Selah)
The LORD of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge.
