Salmos 45
1 Para el músico jefe. Con la música de “Los Lirios”. Una contemplación de los hijos de Coré. Una canción de boda. Mi corazón rebosa de un tema noble. Recito mis versos para el rey. Mi lengua es como la pluma de un hábil escritor.
To the chief Musician. Upon Shoshannim. Of the sons of Korah. An instruction; — a song of the Beloved. My heart is welling forth [with] a good matter: I say what I have composed touching the king. My tongue is the pen of a ready writer.
2 Tú eres el más excelente de los hijos de los hombres. La gracia ha ungido tus labios, por eso Dios te ha bendecido para siempre.
Thou art fairer than the sons of men; grace is poured into thy lips: therefore God hath blessed thee for ever.
3 Pon tu espada en el muslo, oh poderoso, en tu esplendor y tu majestad.
Gird thy sword upon [thy] thigh, O mighty one, [in] thy majesty and thy splendour;
4 En tu majestuosidad cabalga victorioso en nombre de la verdad, la humildad y la rectitud. Deja que tu mano derecha muestre acciones asombrosas.
And [in] thy splendour ride prosperously, because of truth and meekness [and] righteousness: and thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things.
5 Tus flechas son afiladas. Las naciones caen bajo ti, con flechas en el corazón de los enemigos del rey.
Thine arrows are sharp — peoples fall under thee — in the heart of the king's enemies.
6 Tu trono, Dios, es eterno y para siempre. Un cetro de equidad es el cetro de tu reino.
Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever; a sceptre of uprightness is the sceptre of thy kingdom:
7 Has amado la justicia y odiado la maldad. Por eso Dios, tu Dios, te ha ungido con el aceite de la alegría por encima de tus compañeros.
Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated wickedness; therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy companions.
8 Todos tus vestidos huelen a mirra, áloe y casia. De los palacios de marfil los instrumentos de cuerda te han alegrado.
Myrrh and aloes, cassia, are all thy garments; out of ivory palaces stringed instruments have made thee glad.
9 Las hijas de los reyes están entre tus mujeres honorables. A su derecha la reina se encuentra en oro de Ophir.
Kings' daughters are among thine honourable women; upon thy right hand doth stand the queen in gold of Ophir.
10 Escucha, hija, considera y vuelve tu oído. Olvídate de tu propia gente, y también de la casa de tu padre.
Hearken, daughter, and see, and incline thine ear; and forget thine own people and thy father's house:
11 Así el rey deseará tu belleza, honradlo, pues es vuestro señor.
And the king will desire thy beauty; for he is thy Lord, and worship thou him.
12 La hija de Tiro viene con un regalo. Los ricos del pueblo suplican su favor.
And the daughter of Tyre with a gift, the rich ones among the people, shall court thy favour.
13 La princesa en su interior es toda una gloria. Su ropa está entretejida con oro.
All glorious is the king's daughter within; her clothing is of wrought gold:
14 Será llevada al rey en una obra bordada. Las vírgenes, sus compañeras que la siguen, serán traídas a ti.
She shall be brought unto the king in raiment of embroidery; the virgins behind her, her companions, shall be brought in unto thee:
15 Con alegría y regocijo serán conducidos. Entrarán en el palacio del rey.
With joy and gladness shall they be brought; they shall enter into the king's palace.
16 Sus hijos ocuparán el lugar de sus padres. Los harás príncipes en toda la tierra.
Instead of thy fathers shall be thy sons; princes shalt thou make them in all the earth.
17 haré que tu nombre sea recordado en todas las generaciones. Por eso los pueblos te darán gracias por los siglos de los siglos.
I will make thy name to be remembered throughout all generations; therefore shall the peoples praise thee for ever and ever.
