Salmos 23

1 Un salmo de David. Yahvé es mi pastor; No me faltará nada.

“A psalm of David.” The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.

2 Me hace descansar en verdes praderas. Me conduce junto a aguas tranquilas.

In pastures of tender grass he causeth me to lie down: beside still waters he leadeth me.

3 Él restaura mi alma. Me guía por las sendas de la justicia por amor a su nombre.

My soul he refresheth: he guideth me in the tracks of righteousness for the sake of his name.

4 Aunque camine por el valle de la sombra de la muerte, No temeré ningún mal, porque tú estás conmigo. Tu vara y tu cayado, me reconfortan.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will not fear evil; for thou art with me: thy rod and thy staff—they indeed comfort me.

5 Preparas una mesa ante mí en presencia de mis enemigos. Unges mi cabeza con aceite. Mi copa se llena.

Thou preparest before me a table in the presence of my assailants; thou anointest with oil my head: my cup overfloweth.

6 Ciertamente la bondad y el amor me seguirán todos los días de mi vida, y habitaré en la casa de Yahvé para siempre.

Surely, only goodness and kindness shall follow me all the days of my life: and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord to the utmost length of days.
