Salmos 148
1 ¡Alabado sea Yah! ¡Alabado sea Yahvé desde los cielos! ¡Alábenlo en las alturas!
Praise ye the LORD. Praise ye the LORD from the heavens: praise him in the heights.
2 ¡Alabadle, todos sus ángeles! ¡Alabadle, todo su ejército!
Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his host.
3 ¡Alabadle, sol y luna! ¡Alabadle, todas las estrellas brillantes!
Praise ye him, sun and moon; praise him, all ye stars of light.
4 Alabadle, cielos de los cielos, las aguas que están por encima de los cielos.
Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens.
5 Que alaben el nombre de Yahvé, porque él lo ordenó, y fueron creados.
Let them praise the name of the LORD: for he commanded, and they were created.
6 También los ha establecido por siempre y para siempre. Ha hecho un decreto que no pasará.
He hath also stablished them for ever and ever: he hath made a decree which shall not pass away.
7 Alaben a Yahvé desde la tierra, grandes criaturas marinas, y todas las profundidades,
Praise the LORD from the earth, ye dragons, and all deeps:
8 relámpagos y granizo, nieve y nubes, viento tempestuoso, cumpliendo su palabra,
Fire and hail, snow and vapour; stormy wind, fulfilling his word:
9 montañas y todas las colinas, árboles frutales y todos los cedros,
Mountains and all hills; fruitful trees and all cedars:
10 animales salvajes y todo el ganado, pequeñas criaturas y pájaros voladores,
Beasts and all cattle; creeping things and flying fowl:
11 reyes de la tierra y todos los pueblos, príncipes y todos los jueces de la tierra,
Kings of the earth and all peoples; princes and all judges of the earth:
12 tanto a los jóvenes como a las doncellas, ancianos y niños.
Both young men and maidens; old men and children:
13 Que alaben el nombre de Yahvé, porque sólo su nombre es exaltado. Su gloria está por encima de la tierra y de los cielos.
Let them praise the name of the LORD; for his name alone is exalted: his glory is above the earth and heaven.
14 Ha levantado el cuerno de su pueblo, la alabanza de todos sus santos, de los hijos de Israel, un pueblo cercano a él. ¡Alabado sea Yah!
And he hath lifted up the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints; even of the children of Israel, a people near unto him. Praise ye the LORD.
