Salmos 147
1 Alabado sea Yah, porque es bueno cantar alabanzas a nuestro Dios; porque es agradable y conveniente alabarlo.
Hallelujah! How good it is to sing praises to our God, how pleasant and lovely to praise Him!
2 Yahvé construye Jerusalén. Reúne a los parias de Israel.
The LORD builds up Jerusalem; He gathers the exiles of Israel.
3 Él cura a los quebrantados de corazón, y venda sus heridas.
He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.
4 Cuenta el número de las estrellas. Los llama a todos por su nombre.
He determines the number of the stars; He calls them each by name.
5 Grande es nuestro Señor, y poderoso en poder. Su comprensión es infinita.
Great is our Lord, and mighty in power; His understanding has no limit.
6 Yahvé sostiene a los humildes. Derriba a los malvados al suelo.
The LORD sustains the humble, but casts the wicked to the ground.
7 Canten a Yahvé con acción de gracias. Canta alabanzas con el arpa a nuestro Dios,
Sing to the LORD with thanksgiving; make music on the harp to our God,
8 que cubre el cielo de nubes, que prepara la lluvia para la tierra, que hace crecer la hierba en las montañas.
who covers the sky with clouds, who prepares rain for the earth, who makes grass to grow on the hills.
9 Proporciona alimento para el ganado, y para los jóvenes cuervos cuando llaman.
He provides food for the animals, and for the young ravens when they call.
10 No se deleita en la fuerza del caballo. No se complace en las piernas de un hombre.
He does not delight in the strength of the horse; He takes no pleasure in the legpower of the man.
11 Yahvé se complace en los que le temen, en los que esperan en su amorosa bondad.
The LORD is pleased with those who fear Him, who hope in His loving devotion.
12 ¡Alabado sea Yahvé, Jerusalén! ¡Alabado sea tu Dios, Sión!
Exalt the LORD, O Jerusalem; praise your God, O Zion!
13 Porque ha reforzado los barrotes de tus puertas. Él ha bendecido a tus hijos dentro de ti.
For He strengthens the bars of your gates and blesses the children within you.
14 Él hace la paz en tus fronteras. Te llena de lo mejor del trigo.
He makes peace at your borders; He fills you with the finest wheat.
15 Él envía su mandamiento a la tierra. Su palabra corre muy rápido.
He sends forth His command to the earth; His word runs swiftly.
16 Él da la nieve como la lana, y dispersa la escarcha como las cenizas.
He spreads the snow like wool; He scatters the frost like ashes;
17 Arroja su granizo como si fueran guijarros. ¿Quién puede enfrentarse a su frío?
He casts forth His hail like pebbles. Who can withstand His icy blast?
18 Envía su palabra y los derrite. Él hace soplar su viento, y las aguas fluyen.
He sends forth His word and melts them; He unleashes His winds, and the waters flow.
19 Muestra su palabra a Jacob, sus estatutos y sus ordenanzas a Israel.
He declares His word to Jacob, His statutes and judgments to Israel.
20 No lo ha hecho por cualquier nación. No conocen sus ordenanzas. ¡Alabado sea Yah!
He has done this for no other nation; they do not know His judgments. Hallelujah!
