Salmos 138

1 Por David. Te daré las gracias de todo corazón. Ante los dioses, te cantaré alabanzas.

I will yadah ·extend hands in thankful praise· to with my whole heart. Before the deities, I will sing zahmar ·musical praise· to you.

2 Me inclinaré hacia tu santo templo, y dar gracias a tu Nombre por tu amorosa bondad y por tu verdad; porque has exaltado tu Nombre y tu Palabra por encima de todo.

I will bow down toward your holy temple, and yadah ·extend hands in thankful praise· to your Name for your chesed ·loving-kindness· and for your truth; for you have exalted your Name and your Word above all.

3 El día que llamé, me respondiste. Me animaste con fuerza en mi alma.

In the day that I called, you answered me. You encouraged me with strength in my soul.

4 Todos los reyes de la tierra te darán gracias, Yahvé, porque han oído las palabras de tu boca.

All the kings of the earth will yadah ·extend hands in thankful praise· to Adonai, for they have sh'ma ·heard obeyed· the words of your mouth.

5 Sí, cantarán los caminos de Yahvé, porque la gloria de Yahvé es grande.

Yes, they will sing of the ways of Adonai; for great is the kavod Yahweh ·weighty glory of He sustains breathing·.

6 Porque aunque Yahvé es alto, se ocupa de los humildes; pero conoce a los orgullosos de lejos.

For though Adonai is high, yet he looks after the lowly; but the proud, he knows from afar.

7 Aunque ande en medio de la angustia, tú me revivirás. Extenderás tu mano contra la ira de mis enemigos. Tu mano derecha me salvará.

Though I walk in the middle of trouble, you will revive me. You will stretch out your hand against the wrath of my enemies. Your right hand will save me.

8 Yahvé cumplirá lo que me concierne. Tu bondad, Yahvé, es eterna. No abandones las obras de tus propias manos.

Adonai will fulfill that which concerns me; your chesed ·loving-kindness·, Adonai, endures forever. Don’t forsake the works of your own hands.
