Salmos 135
1 ¡Alabado sea Yah! Alabado sea el nombre de Yahvé. Alabadle, siervos de Yahvé,
Hallelujah. Praise ye the name of the LORD; give praise, O ye servants of the LORD,
2 tú que estás en la casa de Yahvé, en los patios de la casa de nuestro Dios.
Ye that stand in the house of the LORD, in the courts of the house of our God.
3 Alaben a Yah, porque Yahvé es bueno. Canta alabanzas a su nombre, porque eso es agradable.
Praise ye the LORD, for the LORD is good; sing praises unto His name, for it is pleasant.
4 Porque Yah ha elegido a Jacob para sí mismo, Israel para su propia posesión.
For the LORD hath chosen Jacob unto Himself, and Israel for His own treasure.
5 Porque sé que Yahvé es grande, que nuestro Señor está por encima de todos los dioses.
For I know that the LORD is great, and that our Lord is above all gods.
6 Todo lo que Yahvé ha querido, eso ha hecho, en el cielo y en la tierra, en los mares y en todas las profundidades.
Whatsoever the LORD pleased, that hath He done, in heaven and in earth, in the seas and in all deeps;
7 Él hace subir las nubes desde los confines de la tierra. Hace relámpagos con la lluvia. Saca el viento de sus arcas.
Who causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; He maketh lightnings for the rain; He bringeth forth the wind out of His treasuries.
8 Hirió a los primogénitos de Egipto, tanto del hombre como del animal.
Who smote the first-born of Egypt, both of man and beast.
9 Envió señales y prodigios en medio de ti, Egipto, sobre el Faraón y sobre todos sus siervos.
He sent signs and wonders into the midst of thee, O Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his servants.
10 Golpeó a muchas naciones, y mató a poderosos reyes...
Who smote many nations, and slew mighty kings:
11 Sehón, rey de los amorreos, Og, rey de Basán, y todos los reinos de Canaán —
Sihon king of the Amorites, and Og king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan;
12 y dieron su tierra como herencia, una herencia para Israel, su pueblo.
And gave their land for a heritage, a heritage unto Israel His people.
13 Tu nombre, Yahvé, es eterno; tu fama, Yahvé, por todas las generaciones.
O LORD, Thy name endureth for ever; thy memorial, O LORD, throughout all generations.
14 Porque Yahvé juzgará a su pueblo y tenga compasión de sus siervos.
For the LORD will judge His people, and repent Himself for His servants.
15 Los ídolos de las naciones son de plata y oro, el trabajo de las manos de los hombres.
The idols of the nations are silver and gold, the work of men's hands.
16 Tienen boca, pero no pueden hablar. Tienen ojos, pero no pueden ver.
They have mouths, but they speak not; eyes have they, but they see not;
17 Tienen oídos, pero no pueden oír, ni hay aliento en sus bocas.
They have ears, but they hear not; neither is there any breath in their mouths.
18 Los que los hacen serán como ellos, sí, todos los que confían en ellos.
They that make them shall be like unto them; yea, every one that trusteth in them.
19 Casa de Israel, ¡alabad a Yahvé! Casa de Aarón, ¡alabado sea Yahvé!
O house of Israel, bless ye the LORD; O house of Aaron, bless ye the LORD;
20 ¡Casa de Leví, alabad a Yahvé! Ustedes que temen a Yahvé, alaben a Yahvé.
O house of Levi, bless ye the LORD; ye that fear the LORD, bless ye the LORD.
21 Bendito sea Yahvé desde Sión, que habita en Jerusalén. ¡Alabado sea Yah!
Blessed be the LORD out of Zion, who dwelleth at Jerusalem. Hallelujah.
