Salmos 125

1 Una canción de ascensos. Los que confían en Yahvé son como el monte Sión, que no se puede mover, sino que permanece para siempre.

THEY that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.

2 Como los montes rodean a Jerusalén, por lo que Yahvé rodea a su pueblo desde este momento y para siempre.

As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the Lord is round about his people from henceforth even for ever.

3 Porque el cetro de la maldad no permanecerá sobre la asignación de los justos, para que los justos no usen sus manos para hacer el mal.

For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity.

4 Haz el bien, Yahvé, a los que son buenos, a los que son rectos de corazón.

Do good, O Lord, unto those that be good, and to them that are upright in their hearts.

5 Pero en cuanto a los que se apartan a sus caminos torcidos, Yahvé los llevará con los obreros de la iniquidad. La paz sea con Israel.

As for such as turn aside unto their crooked ways, the Lord shall lead them forth with the workers of iniquity: but peace shall be upon Israel.
