Salmos 108

1 Una canción. Un Salmo de David. Mi corazón está firme, Dios. Cantaré y haré música con mi alma.

A canticle of a psalm for David himself. My heart is ready, O God, my heart is ready: I will sing, and will give praise, with my glory.

2 ¡Despertad, arpa y lira! Despertaré al amanecer.

Arise, my glory; arise, psaltery and harp: I will arise in the morning early.

3 Te daré gracias, Yahvé, entre las naciones. Te cantaré alabanzas entre los pueblos.

I will praise thee, O Lord, among the people: and I will sing unto thee among the populations.

4 Porque tu bondad es grande sobre los cielos. Tu fidelidad llega a los cielos.

For thy mercy is great above the heavens: and thy truth even unto the clouds.

5 ¡Sé exaltado, Dios, por encima de los cielos! Que tu gloria sea sobre toda la tierra.

Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens, and thy glory over all the earth:

6 Para que tu amado sea liberado, salva con tu mano derecha, y respóndenos.

That thy beloved may be delivered. Save with thy right hand and hear me.

7 Dios ha hablado desde su santuario: “En triunfo, Dividiré Siquem, y mediré el valle de Sucot.

God hath spoken in his holiness. I will rejoice, and I will divide Sichem and I will mete out the vale of tabernacles.

8 Galaad es mía. Manasés es mío. Efraín también es mi casco. Judá es mi cetro.

Galaad is mine, and Manasses is mine and Ephraim the protection of my head. Juda is my king:

9 Moab es mi lavadero. Lanzaré mi sandalia sobre Edom. Gritaré sobre Filistea”.

Moab the pot of my hope. Over Edom I will stretch out my shoe: the aliens are become my friends.

10 ¿Quién me llevará a la ciudad fortificada? ¿Quién me llevará a Edom?

Who will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me into Edom?

11 ¿No nos has rechazado, Dios? No sales, Dios, con nuestros ejércitos.

Wilt not thou, O God, who hast cast us off? and wilt not thou, O God, go forth with our armies?

12 Danos ayuda contra el enemigo, porque la ayuda del hombre es vana.

O grant us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.

13 A través de Dios, nosotroslo haremos con valentía, ya que es él quien va a pisotear a nuestros enemigos.

Through God we shall do mightily: and he will bring our enemies to nothing.
