Proverbios 28
1 Los malvados huyen cuando nadie los persigue; pero los justos son audaces como un león.
The wicked flee when none pursueth: but the righteous are bolde as a lyon.
2 En la rebelión, una tierra tiene muchos gobernantes, pero el orden es mantenido por un hombre de entendimiento y conocimiento.
For the transgression of the land there are many princes thereof: but by a man of vnderstanding and knowledge a realme likewise endureth long.
3 Un necesitado que oprime a los pobres es como una lluvia torrencial que no deja cosechas.
A poore man, if he oppresse the poore, is like a raging raine, that leaueth no foode.
4 Los que abandonan la ley alaban a los malvados; pero los que guardan la ley se enfrentan a ellos.
They that forsake the Law, prayse the wicked: but they that keepe the Law, set themselues against them.
5 Los hombres malvados no entienden la justicia; pero los que buscan a Yahvé lo comprenden plenamente.
Wicked men vnderstand not iudgemnt: but they that seeke the Lord vnderstand all things.
6 Mejor es el pobre que camina en su integridad que el que es perverso en sus caminos, y es rico.
Better is the poore that walketh in his vprightnesse, then hee that peruerteth his wayes, though he be riche.
7 El que guarda la ley es un hijo sabio; pero el que es compañero de los glotones avergüenza a su padre.
He that keepeth the Law, is a childe of vnderstanding: but hee that feedeth the gluttons, shameth his father.
8 El que aumenta su riqueza con intereses excesivos lo recoge para quien se apiada de los pobres.
He that increaseth his riches by vsurie and interest, gathereth them for him that will be mercifull vnto the poore.
9 El que aparta su oído para no oír la ley, incluso su oración es una abominación.
He that turneth away his eare from hearing the Law, euen his prayer shalbe abominable.
10 El que hace que los rectos se extravíen por el mal camino, caerá en su propia trampa; pero los irreprochables heredarán el bien.
He that causeth the righteous to go astray by an euill way, shall fall into his owne pit, and the vpright shall inherite good things.
11 El rico es sabio a sus propios ojos; pero el pobre que tiene entendimiento ve a través de él.
The riche man is wise in his owne conceite: but the poore that hath vnderstanding, can trie him.
12 Cuando los justos triunfan, hay gran gloria; pero cuando los malvados se levantan, los hombres se esconden.
When righteous men reioyce, there is great glory: but when the wicked come vp, the man is tried.
13 El que oculta sus pecados no prospera, pero quien se confiesa y renuncia a ellos encuentra la misericordia.
He that hideth his sinnes, shall not prosper: but he that confesseth, and forsaketh them, shall haue mercy.
14 Dichoso el hombre que siempre teme; pero el que endurece su corazón cae en el problema.
Blessed is the man that feareth alway: but he that hardeneth his heart, shall fall into euill.
15 Como un león que ruge o un oso que embiste, así es un gobernante malvado sobre gente indefensa.
As a roaring lyon, and an hungry beare, so is a wicked ruler ouer the poore people.
16 Un gobernante tirano carece de juicio. Quien odia la ganancia mal habida tendrá días largos.
A prince destitute of vnderstanding, is also a great oppressour: but hee that hateth couetousnes, shall prolong his dayes.
17 El hombre atormentado por la culpa de la sangre será un fugitivo hasta la muerte. Nadie lo apoyará.
A man that doeth violence against the blood of a person, shall flee vnto the graue, and they shall not stay him.
18 Quien camina sin culpa se mantiene a salvo; pero uno con caminos perversos caerá de repente.
He that walketh vprightly, shalbe saued: but he that is froward in his wayes, shall once fall.
19 El que trabaja su tierra tendrá abundancia de alimentos; pero el que persigue fantasías se saciará de pobreza.
He that tilleth his land, shall be satisfied with bread: but he that followeth the idle, shall be filled with pouertie.
20 Un hombre fiel es rico en bendiciones; pero el que está ansioso por ser rico no quedará impune.
A faythfull man shall abound in blessings, and he that maketh haste to be riche, shall not be innocent.
21 Mostrar parcialidad no es bueno, pero un hombre hará el mal por un pedazo de pan.
To haue respect of persons is not good: for that man will transgresse for a piece of bread.
22 El hombre tacaño se apresura a buscar las riquezas, y no sabe que la pobreza le espera.
A man with a wicked eye hasteth to riches, and knoweth not, that pouertie shall come vpon him.
23 El que reprende a un hombre encontrará después más favor que el que adula con la lengua.
He that rebuketh a man, shall finde more fauour at length, then he that flattereth with his tongue.
24 El que roba a su padre o a su madre y dice: “No está mal”. es un socio con un destructor.
Hee that robbeth his father and mother, and sayth, It is no transgression, is the companion of a man that destroyeth.
25 El que es codicioso suscita conflictos; pero el que confía en Yahvé prosperará.
He that is of a proude heart, stirreth vp strife: but he that trusteth in the Lord, shall be fatte.
26 El que confía en sí mismo es un necio; pero el que camina en la sabiduría se mantiene a salvo.
Hee that trusteth in his owne heart, is a foole: but he that walketh in wisdome, shall be deliuered.
27 Al que da a los pobres no le falta nada; pero el que cierra los ojos tendrá muchas maldiciones.
He that giueth vnto the poore, shall not lacke: but he that hideth his eyes, shall haue many curses.
28 Cuando los malvados se levantan, los hombres se esconden; pero cuando perecen, los justos prosperan.
When the wicked rise vp, men hide them selues: but when they perish, ye righteous increase.
