Nehemías 11

1 Los príncipes del pueblo vivían en Jerusalén. El resto del pueblo también echó suertes para que uno de los diez habitara en Jerusalén, la ciudad santa, y nueve partes en las demás ciudades.

And the heads of the people dwell in Jerusalem, and the rest of the people have caused lots to fall to bring in one out of ten to dwell in Jerusalem the holy city, and nine parts in the cities,

2 El pueblo bendijo a todos los hombres que se ofrecieron voluntariamente para habitar en Jerusalén.

and the people give a blessing to all the men who are offering themselves willingly to dwell in Jerusalem.

3 Estos son los jefes de la provincia que vivían en Jerusalén; pero en las ciudades de Judá, cada uno vivía en su posesión en sus ciudades: los sacerdotes, los levitas, los servidores del templo y los hijos de los servidores de Salomón.

And these [are] heads of the province who have dwelt in Jerusalem, and in cities of Judah, they have dwelt each in his possession in their cities; Israel, the priests, and the Levites, and the Nethinim, and the sons of the servants of Solomon.

4 Algunos de los hijos de Judá y de los hijos de Benjamín vivían en Jerusalén. De los hijos de Judá Ataías hijo de Uzías, hijo de Zacarías, hijo de Amarías, hijo de Sefatías, hijo de Mahalalel, de los hijos de Fares;

And in Jerusalem have dwelt of the sons of Judah, and of the sons of Benjamin. Of the sons of Judah: Athaiah son of Uzziah, son of Zechariah, son of Amariah, son of Shephatiah, son of Mahalaleel, of the sons of Perez;

5 y Maasías hijo de Baruc, hijo de Colhoze, hijo de Hazaías, hijo de Adaías, hijo de Joiarib, hijo de Zacarías, hijo del silonita.

and Masseiah son of Baruch, son of Col-Hozeh, son of Hazaiah, son of Adaiah, son of Joiarib, son of Zechariah, son of Shiloni;

6 Todos los hijos de Fares que vivían en Jerusalén eran cuatrocientos sesenta y ocho hombres valientes.

all the sons of Perez who are dwelling in Jerusalem [are] four hundred sixty-eight, men of valor.

7 Estos son los hijos de Benjamín: Salú, hijo de Mesulam, hijo de Joed, hijo de Pedaías, hijo de Colaías, hijo de Maasías, hijo de Itiel, hijo de Jesaías.

And these [are] sons of Benjamin: Sallu son of Meshullam, son of Joed, son of Pedaiah, son of Kolaiah, son of Maaseiah, son of Ithiel, son of Jesaiah;

8 Después de él, Gabbai y Sallai, novecientos veintiocho.

and after him Gabbai, Sallai, nine hundred twenty-eight.

9 Joel hijo de Zicri era su supervisor; y Judá hijo de Hasenúa era el segundo sobre la ciudad.

And Joel son of Zichri [is] inspector over them, and Judah son of Senuah [is] over the city—second.

11 Seraías hijo de Hilcías, hijo de Mesulam, hijo de Sadoc, hijo de Meraiot, hijo de Ahitub, jefe de la casa de Dios,

Seraiah son of Hilkiah, son of Meshullam, son of Zadok, son of Meraioth, son of Ahitub, leader of the house of God,

12 y sus hermanos que hacían la obra de la casa, ochocientos veintidós; y Adaías hijo de Jeroham, hijo de Pelalías, hijo de Amzi, hijo de Zacarías, hijo de Pashur, hijo de Malquías,

and their brothers doing the work of the house [are] eight hundred twenty-two; and Adaiah son of Jeroham, son of Pelaliah, son of Amzi, son of Zechariah, son of Pashhur, son of Malchiah,

13 y sus hermanos, jefes de las casas paternas, doscientos cuarenta y dos y Amashsai hijo de Azarel, hijo de Ahzai, hijo de Meshillemoth, hijo de Immer,

and his brothers, heads of fathers, two hundred forty-two; and Amashsai son of Azareel, son of Ahazai, son of Meshillemoth, son of Immer,

14 y sus hermanos, hombres valientes, ciento veintiocho; y su jefe era Zabdiel, hijo de Haggedolim.

and their brothers, one hundred twenty-eight mighty men of valor; and an inspector over them [is] Zabdiel, son of [one of] the great men.

15 De los levitas Semaías hijo de Hasub, hijo de Azricam, hijo de Hasabías, hijo de Bunni;

And of the Levites: Shemaiah son of Hashub, son of Azrikam, son of Hashabiah, son of Bunni,

16 y Sabetai y Jozabad, de los jefes de los levitas, que tenían a su cargo los asuntos externos de la casa de Dios;

and Shabbethai, and Jozabad, [are] over the outward work of the house of God, of the heads of the Levites,

17 y Matanías hijo de Mica, hijo de Zabdi, hijo de Asaf, que era el jefe que iniciaba la acción de gracias en la oración, y Bacbuquías, el segundo entre sus hermanos; y Abda hijo de Sammúa, hijo de Galal, hijo de Jedutún.

and Mattaniah son of Micha, son of Zabdi, son of Asaph, [is] head—at the commencement he gives thanks in prayer; and Bakbukiah [is] second among his brothers, and Abda son of Shammua, son of Galal, son of Jeduthun.

18 Todos los levitas de la ciudad santa eran doscientos ochenta y cuatro.

All the Levites, in the holy city, [are] two hundred eighty-four.

19 Además, los guardianes de las puertas, Acub, Talmón y sus hermanos, que vigilaban las puertas, eran ciento setenta y dos.

And the gatekeepers, Akkub, Talmon, and their brothers, those watching at the gates, [are] one hundred seventy-two.

20 El resto de Israel, de los sacerdotes y de los levitas, estaban en todas las ciudades de Judá, cada uno en su heredad.

And the rest of Israel, of the priests, of the Levites, [are] in all cities of Judah, each in his inheritance;

21 Pero los servidores del templo vivían en Ofel, y Ziha y Gishpa estaban al frente de los servidores del templo.

and the Nethinim are dwelling in Ophel, and Ziha and Gishpa [are] over the Nethinim.

22 El supervisor de los levitas en Jerusalén era Uzi hijo de Bani, hijo de Hasabías, hijo de Matanías, hijo de Mica, de los hijos de Asaf, los cantores, estaba a cargo de los asuntos de la casa de Dios.

And the overseer of the Levites in Jerusalem [is] Uzzi son of Bani, son of Hashabiah, son of Mattaniah, son of Micha—of the sons of Asaph, the singers [who are] for the front of the work of the house of God,

23 Porque había un mandamiento del rey acerca de ellos, y una provisión establecida para los cantores, como cada día lo requería.

for the command of the king [is] on them, and support [is] for the singers, a matter of a day in its day.

24 Petaías, hijo de Meshezabel, de los hijos de Zera, hijo de Judá, estaba al lado del rey en todos los asuntos del pueblo.

And Pethahiah son of Meshezabeel, of the sons of Zerah, son of Judah, [is] by the hand of the king, for every matter of the people.

25 En cuanto a las aldeas con sus campos, algunos de los hijos de Judá vivían en Quiriat Arba y sus pueblos, en Dibón y sus pueblos, en Jekabzeel y sus aldeas,

And at the villages with their fields, of the sons of Judah there have dwelt, in Kirjath-Arba and its small towns, and in Dibon and its small towns, and in Jekabzeel and its villages,

26 en Jesúa, en Moladah, Bet Pelet,

and in Jeshua, and in Moladah, and in Beth-Phelet,

27 en Hazar Shual en Beersheba y sus aldeas,

and in Hazar-Shaul, and in Beer-Sheba and its small towns,

28 en Ziklag, en Meconah y sus aldeas,

and in Ziklag, and in Mekonah and in its small towns,

29 en En Rimmon, en Zorah, en Jarmuth,

and En-Rimmon, and in Zareah, and in Jarmuth,

30 Zanoah, Adullam y sus aldeas, Lachish y sus campos, y Azekah y sus aldeas. Y acamparon desde Beerseba hasta el valle de Hinom.

Zanoah, Adullam, and their villages, Lachish and its fields, Azekah and its small towns; and they encamp from Beer-Sheba to the Valley of Hinnom.

31 Los hijos de Benjamín también vivían desde Geba, en Micmas y Aija, y en Betel y sus pueblos,

And sons of Benjamin [are] at Geba, Michmash, and Aija, and Beth-El, and its small towns,

32 en Anatot, Nob, Ananías,

Anathoth, Nob, Ananiah,

33 Hazor, Ramá, Gittaim,

Hazor, Ramah, Gittaim,

34 Hadid, Zeboim, Neballat,

Hadid, Zeboim, Neballat,

35 Lod y Ono, el valle de los artesanos.

Lod, and Ono, the Valley of the Craftsmen.

36 De los levitas, ciertas divisiones de Judá se establecieron en el territorio de Benjamín.

And of the Levites, the divisions of Judah [are] for Benjamin.
