Miqueas 3
1 He dicho, “Por favor, escuchen, cabezas de Jacob, y gobernantes de la casa de Israel: ¿No te corresponde conocer la justicia?
And he shall say, Hear now these words, you heads of the house of Jacob, and you remnant of the house of Israel; is it not for you to know judgment?
2 Tú que odias el bien, y amar el mal; que se arrancan la piel, y su carne de sus huesos;
[who] hate good, and seek evil; [who] tear their skins off them, and their flesh off their bones:
3 que también comen la carne de mi pueblo, y pelar su piel de ellos, y romper sus huesos, y picarlas en trozos, como para la olla, y como carne dentro del caldero.
even as they devoured the flesh of my people, and stripped their skins off them, and broke their bones, and divided [them] as flesh for the caldron, and as meat for the pot,
4 Entonces clamarán a Yahvé, pero no les contestará. Sí, en ese momento ocultará su rostro, porque hicieron sus obras malas”.
thus they shall cry to the Lord, but he shall not listen to them; and he shall turn away his face from them at that time, because they have done wickedly in their practices against themselves.
5 Dice el Señor acerca de los profetas que extravían a mi pueblo: a quien alimenta sus dientes, le proclaman: “¡Paz!”, y a quien no se alimenta la boca, le preparan la guerra:
Thus says the Lord concerning the prophets that lead my people astray, that bit with their teeth, and proclaim peace to them; and [when] nothing was put into their mouth, they raised up war against them:
6 “Por tanto, la noche está sobre vosotros, sin visión, y es oscuro para ti, para que no puedas adivinar; y el sol se pondrá sobre los profetas, y el día será negro sobre ellos.
therefore there shall be night to you instead of a vision, and there shall be to you darkness instead of prophecy; and the sun shall go down upon the prophets, and the day shall be dark upon them.
7 Los videntes serán decepcionados, y los adivinos confundidos. Sí, todos se cubrirán los labios, porque no hay respuesta de Dios”.
And the seers of night-visions shall be ashamed, and the prophets shall be laughed to scorn: and all the people shall speak against them, because there shall be none to listen to them.
8 En cuanto a mí, estoy lleno de poder por el Espíritu de Yahvé, y de juicio, y de poder, para declarar a Jacob su desobediencia, y a Israel su pecado.
Surely I will strengthen myself with the Spirit of the Lord, and of judgment, and of power, to declare to Jacob his transgressions, and to Israel his sins.
9 Escuchad esto, jefes de la casa de Jacob, y gobernantes de la casa de Israel, que aborrecen la justicia, y pervertir toda la equidad,
Hear now these words, you chiefs of the house of Jacob, and the remnant of the house of Israel, who hate judgment, and pervert all righteousness;
10 que construyen Sión con sangre, y Jerusalén con la iniquidad.
who build up Sion with blood, and Jerusalem with iniquity.
11 Sus dirigentes juzgan por sobornos, y sus sacerdotes enseñan por un precio, y sus profetas de ella dicen fortunas por dinero; pero se apoyan en Yahvé, y dicen, “¿No está Yahvé entre nosotros? No nos caerá ningún desastre”.
The heads thereof have judged for gifts, and the priests thereof have answered for hire, and her prophets have divined for silver: and [yet] they have rested on the Lord, saying, Is not the Lord among us? no evil shall come upon us.
12 Por lo tanto, Sión por tu causa será arada como un campo, y Jerusalén se convertirá en un montón de escombros, y la montaña del templo como los lugares altos de un bosque.
Therefore on your account Sion shall be plowed as a field, and Jerusalem shall be as a storehouse of fruits, and the mountain of the house as a grove of the forest.
