San Mateo 24
1 Jesús salió del templo y siguió su camino. Sus discípulos se acercaron a él para mostrarle los edificios del templo.
And Iesus went out and departed fro the teple: and his disciples came to hym for to shewe him the byldinge of the teple.
2 Pero él les respondió: “¿Veis todo esto, verdad? Os aseguro que no quedará aquí una piedra sobre otra que no sea derribada”.
Iesus sayde vnto the: se ye not all these thinges? Verely I saye vnto you: ther shall not be here lefte one stone vpon another that shall not be cast doune.
3 Mientras estaba sentado en el Monte de los Olivos, los discípulos se acercaron a él en privado, diciendo: “Dinos, ¿cuándo serán estas cosas? ¿Cuál es la señal de tu venida y del fin de los tiempos?” (aiōn g165)
And as he sat vpon the mout Olivete his disciples came vnto hym secretely sayinge. Tell vs when these thinges shalbe? And what signe shalbe of thy comynge and of the ende of the worlde? (aiōn g165)
4 Jesús les contestó: “Tened cuidado de que nadie os engañe.
And Iesus answered and sayde vnto them: take hede that no ma deceave you.
5 Porque vendrán muchos en mi nombre, diciendo: “Yo soy el Cristo”, y engañarán a muchos.
For many shall come in my name sayinge: I am Christ and shall deceave many.
6 Oiréis hablar de guerras y rumores de guerras. Mirad que no os turbéis, porque es necesario que todo esto ocurra, pero aún no es el fin.
Ye shall heare of warres and of the fame of warres: but se yt ye be not troubled. For all these thinges must come to passe but the ende is not yet.
7 Porque se levantará nación contra nación, y reino contra reino; y habrá hambres, plagas y terremotos en diversos lugares.
For nacio shall ryse ageynste nacio and realme ageynste realme: and ther shalbe pestilence honger and erthquakes in all quarters.
8 Pero todas estas cosas son el principio de los dolores de parto.
All these are the beginninge of sorowes.
9 “Entonces te entregarán a la tribulación y te matarán. Seréis odiados por todas las naciones por causa de mi nombre.
Then shall they put you to trouble and shall kyll you: and ye shalbe hated of all nacions for my names sake.
10 Entonces muchos tropezarán, se entregarán unos a otros y se odiarán.
And then shall many be offended and shall betraye one another and shall hate one the other.
11 Se levantarán muchos falsos profetas y llevarán a muchos por el mal camino.
And many falce Prophetes shall aryse and shall deceave many.
12 Porque se multiplicará la iniquidad, el amor de muchos se enfriará.
And because iniquite shall have the vpper hande the love of many shall abate.
13 Pero el que aguante hasta el final se salvará.
But he that endureth to the ende the same shalbe safe.
14 Esta Buena Nueva del Reino será predicada en todo el mundo para testimonio de todas las naciones, y entonces vendrá el fin.
And this gladtidingees of the kyngdome shalbe preached in all the worlde for a witnes vnto all nacions: and then shall the ende come.
15 “Por tanto, cuando veáis la abominación de la desolación, de la que se habló por medio del profeta Daniel, de pie en el lugar santo (que el lector entienda),
When ye therfore shall se ye abhominacio that betokeneth desolacion spoken of by Daniell the Prophet stonde in ye holy place: let him that redeth it vnderstonde it.
16 entonces los que estén en Judea huyan a las montañas.
Then let them which be in Iury flye into the moutaynes.
17 Que el que esté en la azotea no baje a sacar las cosas que están en su casa.
And let him which is on ye housse toppe not come downe to fet eny thinge out of his housse.
18 Que el que esté en el campo no regrese a buscar su ropa.
Nether let him which is in ye felde returne backe to fetche his clothes.
19 Pero ¡ay de las que estén embarazadas y de las madres lactantes en esos días!
Wo be in those dayes to the that are wt chylde and to the yt geve sucke.
20 Rogad que vuestra huida no sea en invierno ni en sábado,
But praye yt youre flight be not in ye winter nether on ye saboth daye.
21 porque entonces habrá un gran sufrimiento, como no lo ha habido desde el principio del mundo hasta ahora, ni lo habrá jamás.
For then shalbe greate tribulacio suche as was not fro the beginninge of the worlde to this tyme ner shalbe.
22 Si no se acortaran esos días, ninguna carne se habría salvado. Pero por el bien de los elegidos, esos días serán acortados.
Ye and except those dayes shuld be shortened there shuld no fleshe be saved: but for ye chosens sake those dayes shalbe shortened.
23 “Entonces, si alguien les dice: ‘He aquí el Cristo’ o ‘Allí’, no lo crean.
Then yf eny ma shall saye vnto you: lo here is Christ or there is Christ: beleve it not.
24 Porque se levantarán falsos cristos y falsos profetas, y harán grandes señales y prodigios, para extraviar, si es posible, incluso a los elegidos.
For there shall arise false christes and false prophete and shall do great myracles and wondres. In so moche yt if it were possible ye verie electe shuld be deceaved.
25 “He aquí que os lo he dicho de antemano.
Take hede I have tolde you before.
26 “Por tanto, si os dicen: ‘He aquí que está en el desierto’, no salgáis; o ‘He aquí que está en las habitaciones interiores’, no lo creáis.
Wherfore if they shall saye vnto you: beholde he is in ye desert go not forth: beholde he is in ye secret places beleve not.
27 Porque como el rayo que sale del oriente y se ve hasta el occidente, así será la venida del Hijo del Hombre.
For as ye lightninge cometh out of ye eest and shyneth vnto the weest: so shall the comynge of the sonne of ma be.
28 Porque donde está el cadáver, allí se reúnen los buitres.
For wheresoever a deed karkas is eve thyther will the egles resorte.
29 “Pero inmediatamente después la tribulación de esos días, el sol se oscurecerá, la luna no dará su luz, las estrellas caerán del cielo y las potencias de los cielos serán sacudidas;
Immediatly after the tribulacios of those dayes shall the sunne be derkened: and ye mone shall not geve hir light and the starre shall fall from heve and the powers of heve shall move.
30 y entonces aparecerá en el cielo la señal del Hijo del Hombre. Entonces todas las tribus de la tierra se lamentarán, y verán al Hijo del Hombre venir sobre las nubes del cielo con poder y gran gloria.
And then shall appere the sygne of the sonne of man in heven. And then shall all the kynreddes of the erth morne and they shall se the sonne of man come in the cloudes of heven with power and greate glorie.
31 Enviará a sus ángeles con gran sonido de trompeta, y reunirán a sus elegidos de los cuatro vientos, desde un extremo del cielo hasta el otro.
And he shall sende his angeles with the greate voyce of a trope and they shall gader to gether his chosen from the fower wyndes and from the one ende of the worlde to the other.
32 “Aprended ahora de la higuera esta parábola: Cuando su rama ya está tierna y produce sus hojas, sabéis que el verano está cerca.
Learne, a similitude of the fygge tree: when his braunches are yet tender and his leves sproge ye knowe that sommer is nye.
33 Así también vosotros, cuando veáis todas estas cosas, sabed que está cerca, incluso a las puertas.
So lyke wyse ye when ye see all these thynges be ye sure that it is neare even at the dores.
34 De cierto os digo que no pasará esta generación hasta que se cumplan todas estas cosas.
Verely I saye vnto you that this generacion shall not passe tyll all these be fulfilled.
35 El cielo y la tierra pasarán, pero mis palabras no pasarán.
Heven and erth shall perisshe: but my wordes shall abyde.
36 “Pero nadie sabe de ese día y de esa hora, ni siquiera los ángeles del cielo, sino sólo mi Padre.
But of that daye and houre knowith no man no not ye angels of heve but my father only.
37 Como los días de Noé, así será la venida del Hijo del Hombre.
As the tyme of Noe was so lyke wyse shall the cominge of ye sonne of man be.
38 Porque como en los días anteriores al diluvio estaban comiendo y bebiendo, casándose y dando en matrimonio, hasta el día en que Noé entró en la nave,
For as in ye dayes before ye floud: they dyd eate and drynke mary and were maried eve vnto ye daye that Noe entred into the shyppe
39 y no lo supieron hasta que vino el diluvio y se los llevó a todos, así será la venida del Hijo del Hombre.
and knewe of nothynge tyll the floude came and toke them all awaye. So shall also the commynge of the sonne of man be.
40 Entonces dos hombres estarán en el campo: uno será tomado y otro será dejado.
Then two shalbe in the feldes the one shalbe receaved and the other shalbe refused
41 Dos mujeres estarán moliendo en el molino: una será tomada y la otra será dejada.
two shalbe gryndinge at ye myll: ye oue shalbe receaved and ye other shalbe refused.
42 Velad, pues, porque no sabéis a qué hora vendrá vuestro Señor.
Wake therfore because ye knowe not what houre youre master wyll come.
43 Pero sabed esto, que si el dueño de la casa hubiera sabido a qué hora de la noche iba a venir el ladrón, habría velado y no habría permitido que entraran en su casa.
Of this be sure that yf the good man of the housse knewe what houre the thefe wolde come: he wolde suerly watche and not suffre his housse to be broke vppe.
44 Por tanto, estad también preparados, porque a una hora que no esperáis, vendrá el Hijo del Hombre.
Therfore be ye also redy for in ye houre ye thinke he wolde not: wyll the sonne of ma come.
45 “¿Quién es, pues, el siervo fiel y prudente al que su señor ha puesto al frente de su casa para que les dé el alimento a su debido tiempo?
If there be any faithfull servaut and wyse whome his master hath made ruler over his housholde to geve the meate in season covenient:
46 Dichoso aquel siervo al que su señor encuentre haciendo eso cuando venga.
happy is that servaunt whom his master (when he cometh) shall finde so doinge.
47 Ciertamente os digo que lo pondrá sobre todo lo que tiene.
Verely I saye vnto you he shall make him ruler over all his goodes.
48 Pero si ese siervo malo dice en su corazón: “Mi señor se demora en venir”,
But and yf that evill servaut shall saye in his herte my master wyll defer his comynge
49 y comienza a golpear a sus consiervos, y a comer y beber con los borrachos,
and beginne to smyte his felowes ye and to eate and to drinke with the dronke:
50 el señor de ese siervo vendrá en un día en que no lo espera y en una hora en que no lo sabe,
that servauntes master wyll come in adaye when he loketh not for him and in an houre yt he is not ware of
51 y lo despedazará y pondrá su parte con los hipócritas. Allí será el llanto y el rechinar de dientes.
and wyll devyde him and geve him his rewarde with ypocrites. There shalbe wepinge and gnasshinge of tethe.
