San Mateo 19
1 Cuando Jesús terminó estas palabras, salió de Galilea y llegó a los límites de Judea, al otro lado del Jordán.
AND it was that when Jeshu had finished these words, he removed from Galila and came into the confines of Jehud beyond Jurdan.
2 Le siguieron grandes multitudes, y allí los curó.
And great multitudes came after him, and he healed them there.
3 Los fariseos se acercaron a él para ponerle a prueba y decirle: “¿Es lícito que un hombre se divorcie de su mujer por cualquier motivo?”
And the Pharishee approached him, and, tempting him, propounded to him whether it was lawful for a man to send away his wife for every cause.
4 Él respondió: “¿No has leído que el que los hizo desde el principio los hizo varón y mujer,
But he answered and said to them, Have you not read that He who created from the beginning, male and female hath made them?
5 y dijo: “Por eso el hombre dejará a su padre y a su madre, y se unirá a su mujer, y los dos se convertirán en una sola carne”?
And he said, On this account a man shall leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave to his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.
6 De modo que ya no son dos, sino una sola carne. Por tanto, lo que Dios ha unido, que no lo separe el hombre”.
Wherefore they were not two, but one body. That, therefore, which Aloha hath conjoined, man shall not separate.
7 Le preguntaron: “¿Por qué, entonces, Moisés nos ordenó que le diéramos un certificado de divorcio y nos divorciáramos de ella?”
They said to him, Why then did Musha direct that he should give a writing of dismissal and send her away?
8 Les dijo: “Moisés, a causa de la dureza de vuestros corazones, os permitió divorciaros de vuestras mujeres, pero desde el principio no ha sido así.
He said to them, Musha, on account of the hardness of your heart, permitted you to send away your wives; but from the beginning it was not so.
9 Os digo que el que se divorcia de su mujer, salvo por inmoralidad sexual, y se casa con otra, comete adulterio; y el que se casa con ella estando divorciada, comete adulterio.”
And I say to you that whosoever shall forsake his wife who is not adulterous, and take another, committeth adultery; and whosoever taketh the deserted one, committeth adultery.
10 Sus discípulos le dijeron: “Si este es el caso del hombre con su mujer, no conviene casarse”.
His disciples say to him, If thus be the case between the man and the woman, it is not expedient to take a wife.
11 Pero él les dijo: “No todos los hombres pueden recibir esta palabra, sino aquellos a quienes se les ha dado.
But he said to them, Not every man is sufficient for this doctrine, but he to whom it is given.
12 Porque hay eunucos que nacieron así desde el vientre de su madre, y hay eunucos que fueron hechos eunucos por los hombres; y hay eunucos que se hicieron a sí mismos eunucos por el Reino de los Cielos. El que pueda recibirlo, que lo reciba”.
For there are some eunuchs who from their mother's womb are born so; and there are some eunuchs who by men are made eunuchs; and there are eunuchs who have made themselves eunuchs on account of the kingdom of heaven. Whosoever is capable of receiving (this), let him receive (it).
13 Entonces le trajeron niños pequeños para que les impusiera las manos y orara; y los discípulos les reprendieron.
Then they brought to him children, that he should put his hand upon them and pray. And his disciples forbad them.
14 Pero Jesús les dijo: “Dejad a los niños y no les prohibáis que vengan a mí, porque el Reino de los Cielos es de los que son como ellos.”
But Jeshu himself said, Suffer children to come unto me, and forbid them not; for of those who are as these, is the kingdom of heaven.
15 Les impuso las manos y se fue de allí.
And he put his hand upon them, and went thence.
16 He aquí que uno se acercó a él y le dijo: “Maestro bueno, ¿qué debo hacer para tener la vida eterna?” (aiōnios g166)
AND one came and approached and said to him, Good teacher, what of good shall I do, that I may have the life of eternity? (aiōnios g166)
17 Le dijo: “¿Por qué me llamas bueno? Nadie es bueno sino uno, es decir, Dios. Pero si quieres entrar en la vida, guarda los mandamientos”.
But he said to him, Why dost thou call me good? none is good but one, Aloha. But if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
18 Le dijo: “¿Cuáles?” Jesús dijo: “‘No asesinarás’. No cometerás adulterio”. ‘No robarás’. No darás falso testimonio”.
He said to him, Which? Jeshu answered him, Thou shalt not kill, neither commit adultery, nor steal, neither shalt thou witness false testimony;
19 ‘Honra a tu padre y a tu madre’. Y, ‘Amarás a tu prójimo como a ti mismo’”.
and honour thy father and thy mother, and love thy neighbour as thyself.
20 El joven le dijo: “Todo esto lo he observado desde mi juventud. ¿Qué me falta todavía?”
The young man saith to him, These all have I kept from my childhood: how am I deficient?
21 Jesús le dijo: “Si quieres ser perfecto, anda, vende lo que tienes y dalo a los pobres, y tendrás un tesoro en el cielo; y ven, sígueme.”
Jeshu saith to him, If thou wilt become perfect, go, sell thy possession and give to the poor, and there shall be for thee a treasure in heaven: and come after me.
22 Pero el joven, al oír esto, se fue triste, porque era uno de los que tenía grandes posesiones.
But he, the young man, heard this word, and went away with sadness, for he had great property.
23 Jesús dijo a sus discípulos: “Os aseguro que un rico entrará con dificultad en el Reino de los Cielos.
But Jeshu said to his disciples, Amen I say unto you, that it is difficult for the rich to enter the kingdom of heaven.
24 También os digo que es más fácil que un camello pase por el ojo de una aguja que un rico entre en el Reino de Dios.”
Again I say to you, that it is easier for a camel to enter through the aperture of a needle, than the rich to enter into the kingdom of Aloha.
25 Cuando los discípulos lo oyeron, se asombraron mucho, diciendo: “¿Quién, pues, podrá salvarse?”
But the disciples when they heard were greatly hurt, saying, Who then can be saved?
26 Mirándolos, Jesús dijo: “Para los hombres esto es imposible, pero para Dios todo es posible”.
Jeshu, beholding them, said, With the sons of men it is not possible; but with Aloha every thing is possible.
27 Entonces Pedro respondió: “He aquí que lo hemos dejado todo y te hemos seguido. ¿Qué tendremos entonces?”
THEN answered Kipha and said to him, Behold, we have abandoned every thing, and have come after thee: what then shall there be for us?
28 Jesús les dijo: “De cierto os digo que vosotros, los que me habéis seguido, en la regeneración, cuando el Hijo del hombre se siente en el trono de su gloria, os sentaréis también vosotros en doce tronos, para juzgar a las doce tribus de Israel.
Jeshu saith to them, Amen I say to you, that you who have come after me, in the new world, when the Son of man shall sit upon the throne of his glory, you also shall sit upon twelve seats, and shall judge the twelve tribes of Isroel.
29 Todo el que haya dejado casas, o hermanos, o hermanas, o padre, o madre, o esposa, o hijos, o tierras, por mi nombre, recibirá cien veces, y heredará la vida eterna. (aiōnios g166)
And every man who hath relinquished houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, on account of my name, shall receive a hundred-fold, and shall inherit the life of eternity, (aiōnios g166)
30 Pero serán últimos los que sean primeros, y primeros los que sean últimos.
Many however are first who shall be last, and the last first.
