Marcos 2
1 Cuando volvió a entrar en Capernaúm después de algunos días, se oyó que estaba en casa.
And again he entered into Capernaum, after [some] days; and it was understood that he was in the house.
2 Inmediatamente se reunieron muchos, de modo que ya no cabían ni siquiera alrededor de la puerta; y él les habló.
And forthwith many were assembled, so that there was no room to receive [them], no not so much as about the door: and he preached the word to them.
3 Se acercaron cuatro personas llevando a un paralítico.
And they come to him, bringing one sick with the palsy, who was borne by four.
4 Como no podían acercarse a él por la multitud, quitaron el techo donde estaba. Después de romperlo, bajaron la estera en la que estaba acostado el paralítico.
And when they could not come nigh to him by reason of the crowd, they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken [it] up, they let down the bed on which the sick with the palsy lay.
5 Jesús, al ver su fe, dijo al paralítico: “Hijo, tus pecados te son perdonados”.
When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the sick with the palsy, Son, thy sins are forgiven thee.
6 Pero había algunos de los escribas que estaban sentados y razonaban en sus corazones:
But there were certain of the scribes sitting there, and reasoning in their hearts,
7 “¿Por qué este hombre dice blasfemias así? ¿Quién puede perdonar los pecados sino sólo Dios?”
Why doth this [man] thus speak blasphemies? who can forgive sins but God only?
8 En seguida Jesús, percibiendo en su espíritu que así razonaban en su interior, les dijo: “¿Por qué razonáis así en vuestros corazones?
And immediately, when Jesus perceived in his spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, he said to them, Why reason ye these things in your hearts?
9 ¿Qué es más fácil, decir al paralítico “Tus pecados quedan perdonados”, o decirle: “Levántate, toma tu cama y anda”?
Which is easier, to say to the sick with the palsy, [Thy] sins are forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and take up thy bed, and walk?
10 Pero para que sepáis que el Hijo del Hombre tiene autoridad en la tierra para perdonar los pecados” — dijo al paralítico —
But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, he saith to the sick with the palsy,
11 “Te digo que te levantes, toma tu camilla y vete a tu casa.”
I say to thee, Arise, and take up thy bed, and go into thy house.
12 Se levantó, y en seguida tomó la estera y salió delante de todos, de modo que todos se asombraron y glorificaron a Dios, diciendo: “¡Nunca vimos nada semejante!”
And immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went forth before them all; so that they were all amazed, and glorified God, saying, We never saw it on this fashion.
13 Volvió a salir a la orilla del mar. Toda la multitud se acercaba a él, y él les enseñaba.
And he went forth again by the sea -[side]; and all the multitude resorted to him, and he taught them.
14 Al pasar, vio a Leví, hijo de Alfeo, sentado en la oficina de impuestos. Le dijo: “Sígueme”. Y él se levantó y le siguió.
And as he passed by, he saw Levi the [son] of Alpheus, sitting at the receipt of custom, and said to him, Follow me. And he arose, and followed him.
15 Estaba sentado a la mesa en su casa, y muchos recaudadores de impuestos y pecadores se sentaron con Jesús y sus discípulos, pues eran muchos, y le seguían.
And it came to pass, that as Jesus sat at table in his house, many publicans and sinners sat also together with Jesus and his disciples; for there were many, and they followed him.
16 Los escribas y los fariseos, al ver que comía con los pecadores y los recaudadores de impuestos, dijeron a sus discípulos: “¿Por qué come y bebe con los recaudadores de impuestos y los pecadores?”
And when the scribes and Pharisees saw him eating with publicans and sinners, they said to his disciples, How is it that he eateth and drinketh with publicans and sinners.
17 Al oírlo, Jesús les dijo: “Los sanos no tienen necesidad de médico, sino los enfermos. No he venido a llamar a los justos, sino a los pecadores al arrepentimiento”.
When Jesus heard [it], he saith to them, They that are in health, have no need of a physician, but they that are sick; I came not to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.
18 Los discípulos de Juan y los fariseos estaban ayunando, y se acercaron a preguntarle: “¿Por qué los discípulos de Juan y los de los fariseos ayunan, pero tus discípulos no ayunan?”
And the disciples of John, and of the Pharisees, used to fast: and they come, and say to him, Why do the disciples of John, and of the Pharisees fast, but thy disciples fast not?
19 Jesús les dijo: “¿Pueden los acompañantes del novio ayunar mientras el novio está con ellos? Mientras tengan al novio con ellos, no pueden ayunar.
And Jesus said to them, Can the children of the bride-chamber fast, while the bridegroom is with them? As long as they have the bridegroom with them, they cannot fast.
20 Pero vendrán días en que el novio les será quitado, y entonces ayunarán en ese día.
But the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken from them, and then they will fast in those days.
21 Nadie cose un trozo de tela sin remendar en una prenda vieja, porque si no el remiendo se encoge y lo nuevo se desprende de lo viejo, y se hace un agujero peor.
No man also seweth a piece of new cloth on an old garment: else the new piece that filled it up, taketh away from the old, and the rent is made worse.
22 Nadie pone vino nuevo en odres viejos; de lo contrario, el vino nuevo revienta los odres, y el vino se derrama, y los odres se destruyen; pero poned vino nuevo en odres nuevos.”
And no man putteth new wine into old bottles, else the new wine doth burst the bottles, and the wine is spilled, and the bottles will be marred: but new wine must be put into new bottles.
23 Iba el sábado por los campos de trigo, y sus discípulos empezaron, mientras iban, a arrancar espigas.
And it came to pass, that he went through the corn-fields on the sabbath; and his disciples began, as they went, to pluck the ears of corn.
24 Los fariseos le dijeron: “He aquí, ¿por qué hacen lo que no es lícito en el día de reposo?”
And the Pharisees said to him, Behold, why do they on the sabbath that which is not lawful?
25 Les dijo “¿Nunca leísteis lo que hizo David cuando tuvo necesidad y hambre, él y los que estaban con él?
And he said to them, Have ye never read what David did, when he had need, and was hungry, he and they that were with him?
26 ¿Cómo entró en la casa de Dios en el tiempo del sumo sacerdote Abiatar, y comió el pan de la feria, que no es lícito comer sino a los sacerdotes, y dio también a los que estaban con él?”
How he went into the house of God, in the days of Abiathar the high priest, and ate the show-bread, which it is not lawful to eat, but for the priests, and gave also to them who were with him?
27 Les dijo: “El sábado fue hecho para el hombre, no el hombre para el sábado.
And he said to them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath:
28 Por lo tanto, el Hijo del Hombre es señor incluso del sábado”.
Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.
