Malaquías 4
1 “Porque he aquí que llega el día, ardiente como un horno, en que todos los soberbios y todos los que obran la maldad serán rastrojos. El día que viene los quemará”, dice el Señor de los Ejércitos, “de modo que no les dejará ni raíz ni rama.
For, lo, the day hath come, burning as a furnace, And all the proud, and every wicked doer, have been stubble, And burnt them hath the day that came, Said Jehovah of Hosts, That there is not left to them root or branch,
2 Pero a ustedes, los que temen mi nombre, les saldrá el sol de la justicia con la curación en sus alas. Saldréis y saltaréis como terneros de la cuadra.
And risen to you, ye who fear My name, Hath the sun of righteousness — and healing in its wings, And ye have gone forth, and have increased as calves of a stall.
3 Aplastaréis a los impíos, porque serán cenizas bajo las plantas de vuestros pies en el día que yo haga”, dice el Señor de los Ejércitos.
And ye have trodden down the wicked, For they are ashes under the soles of your feet, In the day that I am appointing, Said Jehovah of Hosts.
4 “Acuérdate de la ley de Moisés, mi siervo, que le ordené en Horeb para todo Israel, los estatutos y las ordenanzas.
Remember ye the law of Moses My servant, That I did command him in Horeb, For all Israel — statutes and judgments.
5 He aquí que os envío al profeta Elías antes de que llegue el día grande y terrible de Yahvé.
Lo, I am sending to you Elijah the prophet, Before the coming of the day of Jehovah, The great and the fearful.
6 Él hará que los corazones de los padres se vuelvan hacia los hijos y los corazones de los hijos hacia sus padres, no sea que yo venga y golpee la tierra con una maldición.”
And he hath turned back the heart of fathers to sons, And the heart of sons to their fathers, Before I come and have utterly smitten the land!
