Jueces 1

1 Después de la muerte de Josué, los hijos de Israel preguntaron a Yahvé, diciendo: “¿Quién debe subir por nosotros primero contra los cananeos, para luchar contra ellos?”

And it was after [the] death of Joshua and they enquired [the] people of Israel by Yahweh saying who? will he go up for us against the Canaanite[s] at the first to engage in battle against him.

2 Yahvé dijo: “Judá subirá. He aquí que he entregado la tierra en su mano”.

And he said Yahweh Judah he will go up here! I have given the land in hand his.

3 Judá dijo a su hermano Simeón: “Sube conmigo a mi suerte, para que luchemos contra los cananeos; y yo también iré contigo a tu suerte.” Así que Simeón fue con él.

And he said Judah to Simeon brother his come up with me in lot my so let us fight against the Canaanite[s] and I will go also I with you in lot your and he went with him Simeon.

4 Judá subió, y el Señor entregó en sus manos a los cananeos y a los ferezeos. Hicieron diez mil hombres en Bezec.

And he went up Judah and he gave Yahweh the Canaanite[s] and the Perizzite[s] in hand their and they defeated them at Bezek ten thousand man.

5 Encontraron a Adoni-Bezek en Bezec, y lucharon contra él. Golpearon al cananeo y al ferezeo.

And they found Adoni-Bezek at Bezek and they fought against him and they defeated the Canaanite[s] and the Perizzite[s].

And he fled Adoni-Bezek and they pursued after him and they seized him and they cut off [the] thumbs of hands his and feet his.

And he said Adoni-Bezek seventy - kings [the] thumbs of hands their and feet their cut off they were gathering up under table my just as I have done so he has repaid to me God and they brought him Jerusalem and he died there.

8 Los hijos de Judá lucharon contra Jerusalén, la tomaron, la golpearon con el filo de la espada y le prendieron fuego a la ciudad.

And they fought [the] descendants of Judah against Jerusalem and they captured it and they struck it to [the] mouth of [the] sword and the city they sent in fire.

9 Después de eso, los hijos de Judá bajaron a luchar contra los cananeos que vivían en la región montañosa, en el sur y en la llanura.

And after they went down [the] descendants of Judah to fight against the Canaanite[s] [who] dwelt of the hill country and the Negev and the Shephelah.

10 Judá fue contra los cananeos que vivían en Hebrón. (El nombre de Hebrón antes de eso era Kiriath Arba.) Golpearon a Sheshai, Ahiman y Talmai.

And he went Judah against the Canaanite[s] who dwelt in Hebron and [the] name of Hebron before [was] Kiriath Arba and they defeated Sheshai and Ahiman and Talmai.

And he went from there against [the] inhabitants of Debir and [the] name of Debir before [was] Kiriath Sepher.

And he captured it Othniel [the] son of Kenaz [the] brother of Caleb young more than him and he gave to him Achsah daughter his to a wife.

14 Cuando llegó, hizo que le pidiera a su padre un campo. Se bajó del asno y Caleb le dijo: “¿Qué quieres?”.

And it was when came she and she incited him to ask from with father her the field and she went down from on the donkey and he said to her Caleb what? [is] to you.

15 Ella le dijo: “Dame una bendición; ya que me has puesto en la tierra del Sur, dame también manantiales de agua”. Entonces Caleb le dio los manantiales superiores y los inferiores.

And she said to him give! to me a blessing for [the] land of the Negev you have given to me and you will give to me springs of water and he gave to her Caleb springs upper and springs lower.

16 Los hijos del ceneo, cuñado de Moisés, subieron de la ciudad de las palmeras con los hijos de Judá al desierto de Judá, que está al sur de Arad, y fueron a vivir con el pueblo.

And [the] descendants of [the] Kenite [the] father-in-law of Moses they went up from [the] city of the palm trees with [the] descendants of Judah [the] wilderness of Judah which [is] in [the] Negev Arad and he went and he dwelt with the people.

17 Judá fue con su hermano Simeón, e hirieron a los cananeos que habitaban en Zefat, y la destruyeron por completo. El nombre de la ciudad se llamó Horma.

And he went Judah with Simeon brother his and they attacked the Canaanite[s] [who] dwelt of Zephath and they totally destroyed it and he called [the] name of the city Hormah.

18 También Judá tomó Gaza con su frontera, Ascalón con su frontera y Ecrón con su frontera.

And he captured Judah Gaza and territory its and Ashkelon and territory its and Ekron and territory its.

19 El Señor estuvo con Judá y expulsó a los habitantes de la región montañosa, pues no pudo expulsar a los habitantes del valle, porque tenían carros de hierro.

And he was Yahweh (with *L(abh)*) Judah and it took possession of the hill country for not to dispossess [the] inhabitants of the valley for chariotry of iron [belonged] to them.

20 Le dieron Hebrón a Caleb, como había dicho Moisés, y él expulsó de allí a los tres hijos de Anac.

And people gave to Caleb Hebron just as he had said Moses and he dispossessed from there three [the] sons of Anak.

21 Los hijos de Benjamín no expulsaron a los jebuseos que habitaban Jerusalén, pero los jebuseos habitan con los hijos de Benjamín en Jerusalén hasta el día de hoy.

And the Jebusite[s] [who] dwelt of Jerusalem not they dispossessed [the] descendants of Benjamin and he has dwelt the Jebusite[s] with [the] descendants of Benjamin in Jerusalem until the day this.

22 También la casa de José subió contra Betel, y el Señor estaba con ellos.

And they went up [the] house of Joseph also they Beth-el and Yahweh [was] with them.

23 La casa de José envió a espiar a Betel. (El nombre de la ciudad anterior era Luz.)

And they caused to spy out [the] house of Joseph at Beth-el and [the] name of the city before [was] Luz.

24 Los vigilantes vieron a un hombre que salía de la ciudad, y le dijeron: “Por favor, muéstranos la entrada a la ciudad, y te trataremos con amabilidad.”

And they saw those [who] watched a man coming out from the city and they said to him show us please [the] entrance of the city and we will do with you loyalty.

25 El hombre les mostró la entrada a la ciudad, y ellos golpearon la ciudad con el filo de la espada; pero dejaron ir al hombre y a toda su familia.

And he showed them [the] entrance of the city and they struck the city to [the] mouth of [the] sword and the man and all family his they let go.

26 El hombre se fue a la tierra de los hititas, construyó una ciudad y la llamó Luz, que es su nombre hasta hoy.

And he went the man [the] land of the Hittites and he built a city and he called name its Luz that [is] name its until the day this.

27 Manasés no expulsó a los habitantes de Bet-Seán y sus ciudades, ni a Taanac y sus ciudades, ni a los habitantes de Dor y sus ciudades, ni a los habitantes de Ibleam y sus ciudades, ni a los habitantes de Meguido y sus ciudades; pero los cananeos habitaban en esa tierra.

And not it took possession of Manasseh Beth Shean and daughters its and Taanach and daughters its and ([the] inhabitants of *Q(K)*) Dor and daughters its and [the] inhabitants of Ibleam and daughters its and [the] inhabitants of Megiddo and daughters its and it was determined the Canaanite[s] to dwell in the land this.

28 Cuando Israel se hizo fuerte, sometió a los cananeos a trabajos forzados y no los expulsó del todo.

And it was that it became strong Israel and it made the Canaanite[s] into forced labor and certainly not it dispossessed him.

29 Efraín no expulsó a los cananeos que vivían en Gezer, sino que los cananeos vivían en Gezer entre ellos.

And Ephraim not it dispossessed the Canaanite[s] who dwelt in Gezer and it dwelt the Canaanite[s] in midst its in Gezer.

30 Zabulón no expulsó a los habitantes de Kitrón ni a los de Nahalol, sino que los cananeos vivieron entre ellos y se sometieron a trabajos forzados.

Zebulun not it dispossessed [the] inhabitants of Kitron and [the] inhabitants of Nahalol and it dwelt the Canaanite[s] in midst its and they became forced labor.

31 Aser no expulsó a los habitantes de Acco, ni a los de Sidón, ni a los de Ahlab, ni a los de Achzib, ni a los de Helba, ni a los de Afik, ni a los de Rehob;

Asher not it dispossessed [the] inhabitants of Acco and [the] inhabitants of Sidon and Ahlab and Aczib and Helbah and Aphek and Rehob.

32 sino que los aseritas vivieron entre los cananeos, habitantes de la tierra, pues no los expulsaron.

And it dwelt the Asherite[s] in [the] midst of the Canaanite[s] [the] inhabitants of the land for not it dispossessed it.

33 Neftalí no expulsó a los habitantes de Bet Semes, ni a los de Bet Anat, sino que vivió entre los cananeos, habitantes de la tierra. Sin embargo, los habitantes de Bet Semes y de Bet Anat fueron sometidos a trabajos forzados.

Naphtali not it dispossessed [the] inhabitants of Beth Shemesh and [the] inhabitants of Beth Anath and it dwelt in [the] midst of the Canaanite[s] [the] inhabitants of the land and [the] inhabitants of Beth Shemesh and Beth Anath they became for them forced labor.

34 Los amorreos obligaron a los hijos de Dan a ir a la región montañosa, pues no les permitieron bajar al valle;

And they pressed the Amorite[s] [the] descendants of Dan the hill country towards for not it permitted it to go down to the valley.

35 pero los amorreos habitaban en el monte Heres, en Ajalón y en Shaalbim. Sin embargo, la mano de la casa de José prevaleció, de modo que se sometieron a trabajos forzados.

And it was determined the Amorite[s] to dwell in [the] mountain of Heres in Aijalon and in Shaalbim and it was heavy [the] hand of [the] house of Joseph and they became forced labor.

36 La frontera de los amorreos era desde la subida de Akrabbim, desde la roca y hacia arriba.

And [the] border of the Amorite[s] [was] from [the] ascent of scorpions from Sela and up-wards.
