Josué 13
1 Josué era ya viejo y de edad avanzada. Yahvé le dijo: “Eres viejo y avanzado en años, y aún queda mucha tierra por poseer.
Now Joshua was old and well stricken in years; and the LORD said unto him: 'Thou art old and well stricken in years, and there remaineth yet very much land to be possessed.
2 “Esta es la tierra que aún queda todas las regiones de los filisteos, y todos los guesuritas;
This is the land that yet remaineth: all the regions of the Philistines, and all the Geshurites;
3 desde el Shihor, que está delante de Egipto, hasta la frontera de Ecrón hacia el norte, que se cuenta como cananea; los cinco señores de los filisteos: los gazitas, los asdoditas, los ascalonitas, los gittitas y los ecronitas; también los avvim,
from the Shihor, which is before Egypt, even unto the border of Ekron northward — which is counted to the Canaanites; the five lords of the Philistines: the Gazite, and the Ashdodite, the Ashkelonite, the Gittite, and the Ekronite; also the Avvim
4 al sur; toda la tierra de los cananeos, y Meará que pertenece a los sidonios, hasta Afec, hasta la frontera de los amorreos;
on the south; all the land of the Canaanites, and Mearah that belongeth to the Zidonians, unto Aphek, to the border of the Amorites;
5 y la tierra de los gebalitas, y todo el Líbano, hacia la salida del sol, desde Baal Gad bajo el monte Hermón hasta la entrada de Hamat;
and the land of the Gebalites, and all Lebanon, toward the sunrising, from Baal-gad under mount Hermon unto the entrance of Hamath;
6 todos los habitantes de la región montañosa desde el Líbano hasta Misrefot Maim, todos los sidonios. Los expulsaré de delante de los hijos de Israel. Sólo asigna a Israel como herencia, como te he ordenado.
all the inhabitants of the hill-country from Lebanon unto Misrephoth-maim, even all the Zidonians; them will I drive out from before the children of Israel; only allot thou it unto Israel for an inheritance, as I have commanded thee.
7 Ahora, pues, reparte esta tierra en herencia a las nueve tribus y a la media tribu de Manasés.”
Now therefore divide this land for an inheritance unto the nine tribes, and the half-tribe of Manasseh.'
8 Con él, los rubenitas y los gaditas recibieron la herencia que les dio Moisés, al otro lado del Jordán, hacia el este, tal como se la dio Moisés, siervo de Yahvé:
With him the Reubenites and the Gadites received their inheritance, which Moses gave them, beyond the Jordan eastward, even as Moses the servant of the LORD gave them;
9 desde Aroer, que está al borde del valle de Arnón, y la ciudad que está en medio del valle, y toda la llanura de Medeba hasta Dibón;
from Aroer, that is on the edge of the valley of Arnon, and the city that is in the middle of the valley, and all the table-land from Medeba unto Dibon;
10 y todas las ciudades de Sehón, rey de los amorreos, que reinaba en Hesbón, hasta el límite de los hijos de Amón
and all the cities of Sihon king of the Amorites, who reigned in Heshbon, unto the border of the children of Ammon;
11 y Galaad, y el límite de los guesuritas y maacatitas, y todo el monte Hermón, y todo Basán hasta Salecá;
and Gilead, and the border of the Geshurites and Maacathites, and all mount Hermon, and all Bashan unto Salcah;
12 todo el reino de Og en Basán, que reinaba en Astarot y en Edrei (que quedó del resto de los refaítas); porque Moisés atacó a éstos y los expulsó.
all the kingdom of Og in Bashan, who reigned in Ashtaroth and in Edrei — the same was left of the remnant of the Rephaim — for these did Moses smite, and drove them out.
13 Sin embargo, los hijos de Israel no expulsaron a los guesuritas ni a los maacatíes, sino que Guesur y Maacat viven dentro de Israel hasta el día de hoy.
Nevertheless the children of Israel drove not out the Geshurites, nor the Maacathites; but Geshur and Maacath dwelt in the midst of Israel unto this day.
14 Sólo que no dio herencia a la tribu de Leví. Las ofrendas a Yahvé, el Dios de Israel, hechas por fuego, son su herencia, como él le dijo.
Only unto the tribe of Levi he gave no inheritance; the offerings of the LORD, the God of Israel, made by fire are his inheritance, as He spoke unto him.
15 Moisés dio a la tribu de los hijos de Rubén según sus familias.
And Moses gave unto the tribe of the children of Reuben according to their families.
16 Su frontera fue desde Aroer, que está a la orilla del valle de Arnón, y la ciudad que está en medio del valle, y toda la llanura junto a Medeba;
And their border was from Aroer, that is on the edge of the valley of Arnon, and the city that is in the middle of the valley, and all the table-land by Medeba;
17 Hesbón, y todas sus ciudades que están en la llanura; Dibón, Bamoth Baal, Beth Baal Meón,
Heshbon, and all her cities that are in the table-land; Dibon, and Bamoth-baal, and Beth-baal-meon;
18 Jahaz, Kedemoth, Mephaath,
and Jahaz, and Kedemoth, and Mephaath;
19 Kiriathaim, Sibmah, Zereth Shahar en el monte del valle,
and Kiriathaim, and Sibmah, and Zerethshahar in the mount of the valley;
20 Beth Peor, las laderas de Pisga, Beth Jeshimoth,
and Beth-peor, and the slopes of Pisgah, and Beth-jeshimoth;
21 todas las ciudades de la llanura, y todo el reino de Sehón, rey de los amorreos, que reinaba en Hesbón, a quien Moisés hirió con los jefes de Madián, Evi, Rekem, Zur, Hur y Reba, príncipes de Sehón, que vivían en la tierra.
and all the cities of the table-land, and all the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites, who reigned in Heshbon, whom Moses smote with the chiefs of Midian, Evi, and Rekem, and Zur, and Hur, and Reba, the princes of Sihon, that dwelt in the land.
22 Los hijos de Israel también mataron a espada a Balaam, hijo de Beor, el adivino, entre el resto de sus muertos.
Balaam also the son of Beor, the soothsayer, did the children of Israel slay with the sword among the rest of their slain.
23 El límite de los hijos de Rubén era la ribera del Jordán. Esta fue la herencia de los hijos de Rubén según sus familias, las ciudades y sus aldeas.
And as for the border of the children of Reuben, the Jordan was their border. This was the inheritance of the children of Reuben according to their families, the cities and the villages thereof.
24 Moisés dio a la tribu de Gad, a los hijos de Gad, según sus familias.
And Moses gave unto the tribe of Gad, unto the children of Gad, according to their families.
25 Su límite fue Jazer, y todas las ciudades de Galaad, y la mitad de la tierra de los hijos de Amón, hasta Aroer que está cerca de Rabá;
And their border was Jazer, and all the cities of Gilead, and half the land of the children of Ammon, unto Aroer that is before Rabbah;
26 y desde Hesbón hasta Ramat Mizpa, y Betonim; y desde Mahanaim hasta el límite de Debir
and from Heshbon unto Ramath-mizpeh, and Betonim; and from Mahanaim unto the border of Lidbir;
27 y en el valle, Bet Haram, Bet Nimra, Sucot y Zafón, el resto del reino de Sehón, rey de Hesbón, la ribera del Jordán, hasta el extremo del mar de Cineret, al otro lado del Jordán, hacia el este.
and in the valley, Beth-haram, and Beth-nimrah, and Succoth, and Zaphon, the rest of the kingdom of Sihon king of Heshbon, the Jordan being the border thereof, unto the uttermost part of the sea of Chinnereth beyond the Jordan eastward.
28 Esta es la herencia de los hijos de Gad según sus familias, las ciudades y sus aldeas.
This is the inheritance of the children of Gad according to their families, the cities and the villages thereof.
29 Moisés dio una herencia a la media tribu de Manasés. Fue para la media tribu de los hijos de Manasés según sus familias.
And Moses gave inheritance unto the half-tribe of Manasseh; and it was for the half-tribe of the children of Manasseh according to their families.
30 Su frontera era desde Mahanaim, todo Basán, todo el reino de Og, rey de Basán, y todas las aldeas de Jair, que están en Basán, sesenta ciudades.
And their border was from Mahanaim, all Bashan, all the kingdom of Og king of Bashan, and all the villages of Jair, which are in Bashan, threescore cities;
31 La mitad de Galaad, Astarot y Edrei, ciudades del reino de Og en Basán, eran para los hijos de Maquir hijo de Manasés, para la mitad de los hijos de Maquir según sus familias.
and half Gilead, and Ashtaroth, and Edrei, the cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan, were for the children of Machir the son of Manasseh, even for the half of the children of Machir according to their families.
32 Estas son las herencias que Moisés repartió en las llanuras de Moab, al otro lado del Jordán, en Jericó, hacia el este.
These are the inheritances which Moses distributed in the plains of Moab, beyond the Jordan at Jericho, eastward.
33 Pero Moisés no dio ninguna herencia a la tribu de Leví. Yahvé, el Dios de Israel, es su herencia, como él les habló.
But unto the tribe of Levi Moses gave no inheritance; the LORD, the God of Israel, is their inheritance, as He spoke unto them.
