Job 25

1 Entonces Bildad el Suhita respondió,

Then responded Bildad the Shuhite, and said: —

2 “El dominio y el temor están con él. Él hace la paz en sus lugares altos.

Dominion and dread, are with him, who causeth prosperity among his lofty ones;

3 ¿Se pueden contar sus ejércitos? ¿Sobre quién no surge su luz?

Is there any number to his troops? And upon whom ariseth not his light?

4 ¿Cómo puede entonces el hombre ser justo con Dios? ¿O cómo puede estar limpio el que ha nacido de una mujer?

How then shall, a mortal, be just with GOD? Or how shall he be pure who is born of a woman?

5 He aquí que hasta la luna no tiene brillo, y las estrellas no son puras a su vista;

Look as far as the moon, and it is not clear, and, the stars, are not bright in his eyes!

6 Cuánto menos el hombre, que es un gusano, y el hijo del hombre, que es un gusano”.

How much less a mortal who is a creeping thing? Or a son of the earth-born who is a worm?
