Isaías 65
1 “Me preguntan los que no preguntaron. Me encuentran los que no me buscaron. Dije: “Vedme, vedme”, a una nación que no se llamaba por mi nombre.
I am sought by [them that] asked not [for me]; I am found by [them that] sought me not: I said, Behold me, behold me, to a nation [that] was not called by my name.
2 He extendido mis manos todo el día a un pueblo rebelde, que andan por un camino que no es bueno, tras sus propios pensamientos;
I have spread out my hands all the day to a rebellious people, which walketh in a way [that is] not good, after their own thoughts;
3 un pueblo que me provoca en la cara continuamente, sacrificando en los jardines, y quemando incienso en ladrillos;
A people that provoketh me to anger continually to my face; that sacrificeth in gardens, and burneth incense upon altars of brick;
4 que se sientan entre las tumbas, y pasar las noches en lugares secretos; que comen carne de cerdo, y el caldo de las cosas abominables está en sus recipientes;
Which remain among the graves, and lodge in the monuments, which eat swine's flesh, and broth of abominable [things is in] their vessels;
5 que dicen: “Quédate solo”, no te acerques a mí, porque yo soy más santo que tú”. Esto es humo en mi nariz, un fuego que arde todo el día.
Which say, Stand by thyself, come not near to me; for I am holier than thou. These [are] a smoke in my nose, a fire that burneth all the day.
6 “He aquí que está escrito ante mí: No guardaré silencio, pero lo pagará, sí, pagaré en su seno
Behold, [it is] written before me: I will not keep silence, but will recompense, even recompense into their bosom,
7 tus propias iniquidades y las iniquidades de tus padres juntas”, dice Yahvé, “que han quemado incienso en las montañas, y me blasfemaron en las colinas. Por lo tanto, primero mediré su trabajo en su seno”.
Your iniquities, and the iniquities of your fathers together, saith the LORD, who have burned incense upon the mountains, and blasphemed me upon the hills: therefore will I measure their former work into their bosom.
8 Yahvé dice, “Como el vino nuevo se encuentra en el racimo, y uno dice: ‘No lo destruyas, porque hay una bendición en él:’ así lo haré por el bien de mis siervos, para que no los destruya a todos.
Thus saith the LORD, As the new wine is found in the cluster, and [one] saith, Destroy it not; for a blessing [is] in it: so will I do for my servants' sake, that I may not destroy them all.
9 Sacaré descendencia de Jacob, y de Judá un heredero de mis montes. Mis elegidos lo heredarán, y mis siervos habitarán allí.
And I will bring forth a seed out of Jacob, and out of Judah an inheritor of my mountains: and my elect shall inherit it, and my servants shall dwell there.
10 Sarón será un redil de rebaños, y el valle de Acor un lugar para que se acuesten los rebaños, para mi pueblo que me ha buscado.
And Sharon shall be a fold of flocks, and the valley of Achor a place for the herds to lie down in, for my people that have sought me.
11 “Pero ustedes que abandonan a Yahvé, que se olvidan de mi montaña sagrada, que preparan una mesa para la Fortuna, y que llenan de vino mezclado al Destino;
But ye [are] they that forsake the LORD, that forget my holy mountain, that prepare a table for that troop, and that furnish the drink-offering to that number.
12 Te destinaré a la espada, y todos se inclinarán ante la matanza; porque cuando llamé, no contestaste. Cuando hablé, no escuchaste; pero tú hiciste lo que era malo a mis ojos, y elegí aquello en lo que no me deleité”.
Therefore will I number you to the sword, and ye shall all bow down to the slaughter: because when I called, ye did not answer; when I spoke, ye did not hear; but did evil before my eyes, and did choose [that] in which I delighted not.
13 Por eso dice el Señor Yahvé, “He aquí que mis siervos comerán, pero tendrás hambre; he aquí que mis siervos beberán, pero tendrás sed. He aquí que mis siervos se alegrarán, pero se sentirá decepcionado.
Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, my servants shall eat, but ye shall be hungry: behold, my servants shall drink, but ye shall be thirsty: behold, my servants shall rejoice, but ye shall be ashamed:
14 He aquí que mis siervos cantarán con alegría de corazón, pero llorarás de pena de corazón, y se lamentará por la angustia del espíritu.
Behold, my servants shall sing for joy of heart, but ye shall cry for sorrow of heart, and shall howl for vexation of spirit.
15 Dejarás tu nombre como una maldición para mis elegidos, y el Señor Yahvé te matará. Llamará a sus siervos por otro nombre,
And ye shall leave your name for a curse to my chosen: for the Lord GOD will slay thee, and call his servants by another name:
16 para que el que se bendiga en la tierra se bendiga en el Dios de la verdad; y el que jura en la tierra lo hará por el Dios de la verdad; porque los problemas anteriores se han olvidado, y porque están ocultos a mis ojos.
That he who blesseth himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth; and he that sweareth in the earth shall swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hid from my eyes.
17 “Porque he aquí que yo creo cielos nuevos y tierra nueva; y las cosas anteriores no serán recordadas, ni se les ocurra.
For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.
18 Pero alégrate y regocíjate para siempre en lo que yo creo; porque, he aquí que yo creo a Jerusalén para que sea una delicia, y su pueblo una alegría.
But be ye glad and rejoice for ever [in that] which I create: for behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.
19 Me alegraré en Jerusalén, y deleitarse con mi pueblo; y la voz del llanto y la voz del grito no se escuchará más en ella.
And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.
20 “Ya no habrá un niño que sólo viva unos días, ni un anciano que no ha llenado sus días; porque el niño morirá con cien años, y el pecador que tenga cien años será maldito.
There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die a hundred years old: but the sinner [being] a hundred years old shall be accursed.
21 Construirán casas y las habitarán. Plantarán viñedos y comerán sus frutos.
And they shall build houses, and inhabit [them]; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them.
22 No construirán y otro habitará. No plantarán y otro comerá; porque los días de mi pueblo serán como los días de un árbol, y mis elegidos disfrutarán durante mucho tiempo del trabajo de sus manos.
They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree [are] the days of my people, and my elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands.
23 No trabajarán en vano ni dar a luz para la calamidad; porque son los descendientes de los benditos de Yahvé y sus descendientes con ellos.
They shall not labor in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they [are] the seed of the blessed of the LORD, and their offspring with them.
24 Sucederá que antes de que llamen, yo responderé; y mientras ellos hablan, yo escucharé.
And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.
25 El lobo y el cordero se alimentarán juntos. El león comerá paja como el buey. El polvo será el alimento de la serpiente. No harán daño ni destruirán en todo mi santo monte”. dice Yahvé.
The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust [shall be] the serpents' food. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD.
