Ezequiel 42
1 Luego me sacó al patio exterior, el camino hacia el norte. Luego me llevó a la habitación que estaba frente al lugar separado, y que estaba frente al edificio hacia el norte.
Then he brought me forth into the utter court, the way toward the north: and he brought me into the chamber that [was] over against the separate place, and which [was] before the building toward the north.
2 Frente a la longitud de cien codos estaba la puerta del norte, y la anchura era de cincuenta codos.
Before the length of an hundred cubits [was] the north door, and the breadth [was] fifty cubits.
3 Frente a los veinte codos que pertenecían al atrio interior, y frente al pavimento que pertenecía al atrio exterior, había galería contra galería en los tres pisos.
Over against the twenty [cubits] which [were] for the inner court, and over against the pavement which [was] for the utter court, [was] gallery against gallery in three [stories].
4 Delante de las habitaciones había un paseo de diez codos de ancho hacia adentro, un camino de un codo; y sus puertas estaban hacia el norte.
And before the chambers [was] a walk of ten cubits breadth inward, a way of one cubit; and their doors toward the north.
5 Las habitaciones superiores eran más cortas, pues las galerías les quitaban más espacio que a las inferiores y a las centrales del edificio.
Now the upper chambers [were] shorter: for the galleries were higher than these, than the lower, and than the middlemost of the building.
6 Porque estaban en tres pisos, y no tenían pilares como los de los atrios. Por lo tanto, el más alto estaba más alejado del suelo que el más bajo y el del medio.
For they [were] in three [stories], but had not pillars as the pillars of the courts: therefore [the building] was straitened more than the lowest and the middlemost from the ground.
7 El muro que estaba fuera, al lado de las habitaciones, hacia el patio exterior, delante de las habitaciones, tenía una longitud de cincuenta codos.
And the wall that [was] without over against the chambers, toward the utter court on the forepart of the chambers, the length thereof [was] fifty cubits.
8 Porque la longitud de las habitaciones que estaban en el atrio exterior era de cincuenta codos. Las que daban al templo tenían cien codos.
For the length of the chambers that [were] in the utter court [was] fifty cubits: and, lo, before the temple [were] an hundred cubits.
9 Debajo de estas habitaciones estaba la entrada por el lado oriental, cuando se entraba en ellas desde el atrio exterior.
And from under these chambers [was] the entry on the east side, as one goeth into them from the utter court.
10 En el espesor de la pared del atrio hacia el oriente, delante del lugar separado y delante del edificio, había habitaciones.
The chambers [were] in the thickness of the wall of the court toward the east, over against the separate place, and over against the building.
11 El camino ante ellas era como el aspecto de las habitaciones que estaban hacia el norte. Su longitud y su anchura eran iguales. Todas sus salidas tenían la misma disposición y puertas.
And the way before them [was] like the appearance of the chambers which [were] toward the north, as long as they, [and] as broad as they: and all their goings out [were] both according to their fashions, and according to their doors.
12 Al igual que las puertas de las habitaciones que estaban hacia el sur, había una puerta en la cabecera del camino, el camino que estaba directamente frente a la pared hacia el este, cuando se entraba en ellas.
And according to the doors of the chambers that [were] toward the south [was] a door in the head of the way, [even] the way directly before the wall toward the east, as one entereth into them.
13 Luego me dijo: “Las habitaciones del norte y del sur, que están frente al lugar separado, son las habitaciones sagradas, donde los sacerdotes que están cerca de Yahvé comerán las cosas más sagradas. Allí depositarán las cosas santísimas, con la ofrenda de comida, la ofrenda por el pecado y la ofrenda por la culpa, porque el lugar es sagrado.
Then said he unto me, The north chambers [and] the south chambers, which [are] before the separate place, they [be] holy chambers, where the priests that approach unto the LORD shall eat the most holy things: there shall they lay the most holy things, and the meat offering, and the sin offering, and the trespass offering; for the place [is] holy.
14 Cuando los sacerdotes entren, no saldrán del lugar santo al atrio exterior hasta que se pongan las vestimentas con las que ministran allí, porque son santas. Entonces se pondrán otras vestiduras, y se acercarán a lo que es para el pueblo.”
When the priests enter therein, then shall they not go out of the holy [place] into the utter court, but there they shall lay their garments wherein they minister; for they [are] holy; and shall put on other garments, and shall approach to [those things] which [are] for the people.
15 Cuando terminó de medir el interior de la casa, me sacó por el camino de la puerta que da al oriente, y lo midió todo alrededor.
Now when he had made an end of measuring the inner house, he brought me forth toward the gate whose prospect [is] toward the east, and measured it round about.
16 Midió en el lado oriental con la caña de medir quinientas cañas, con la caña de medir alrededor.
He measured the east side with the measuring reed, five hundred reeds, with the measuring reed round about.
17 Midió en el lado norte quinientas cañas con la caña de medir alrededor.
He measured the north side, five hundred reeds, with the measuring reed round about.
18 Midió en el lado sur quinientas cañas con la caña de medir.
He measured the south side, five hundred reeds, with the measuring reed.
19 Se volvió hacia el lado oeste y midió quinientas cañas con la caña de medir.
He turned about to the west side, [and] measured five hundred reeds with the measuring reed.
20 La midió por los cuatro lados. Tenía un muro alrededor, de quinientos codos de largo y quinientos de ancho, para separar lo sagrado de lo común.
He measured it by the four sides: it had a wall round about, five hundred [reeds] long, and five hundred broad, to make a separation between the sanctuary and the profane place.
