Ezequiel 30

1 La palabra de Yahvé volvió a dirigirse a mí, diciendo:

And there is a word of Jehovah unto me, saying:

2 “Hijo de hombre, profetiza y di: ‘El Señor Yahvé dice: “Grita: “¡Ay del día!

'Son of man, prophesy, and thou hast said: Thus said the Lord Jehovah: Howl ye, ha! for the day!

3 Porque el día está cerca, incluso el día de Yahvé está cerca. Será un día de nubes, un tiempo de las naciones.

For near [is] a day, near [is] a day to Jehovah! A day of clouds, the time of nations it is.

4 Una espada vendrá sobre Egipto, y la angustia estará en Etiopía, cuando los muertos caen en Egipto. Le quitan su multitud, y sus cimientos se rompen.

And come in hath a sword to Egypt, And there hath been great pain in Cush, In the falling of the wounded in Egypt, And they have taken its store, And broken down have been its foundations.

5 “‘“Etiopía, Put, Lud, todos los pueblos mixtos, Cub, y los hijos de la tierra aliada con ellos, caerán con ellos a espada”.

Cush, and Phut, and Lud, and all the mixture, and Chub, And the sons of the land of the covenant with them by sword do fall,

6 “‘Dice Yahvé: “También los que defienden a Egipto caerán. El orgullo de su poder caerá. Caerán a espada en ella desde la torre de Seveneh”. dice el Señor Yahvé.

Thus said Jehovah: And — fallen have supporters of Egypt, And come down hath the arrogance of her strength, From Migdol to Syene, by sword they fall in her, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah.

7 “Estarán desolados en medio de los países desolados. Sus ciudades estarán entre las ciudades desperdiciadas.

And they have been desolated in the midst of desolate lands, And its cities are in the midst of wasted cities.

8 Sabrán que yo soy Yahvé cuando haya prendido fuego en Egipto, y todos sus ayudantes son destruidos.

And they have known that I [am] Jehovah, In My giving fire against Egypt, And broken have been all her helpers.

9 “‘“En aquel día saldrán mensajeros de delante de mí en barcos para hacer temer a los descuidados etíopes. Habrá angustia sobre ellos, como en el día de Egipto; porque, he aquí que viene”.

In that day go forth do messengers from before Me in ships, To trouble confident Cush, And there hath been great pain among them, As the day of Egypt, for lo, it hath come.

10 “‘Dice el Señor Yahvé: “También haré cesar la multitud de Egipto, por la mano de Nabucodonosor, rey de Babilonia.

Thus said the Lord Jehovah: I have caused the multitude of Egypt to cease, By the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon,

11 Él y su gente con él, el terrible de las naciones, serán traídos para destruir la tierra. Desenvainarán sus espadas contra Egipto, y llenar la tierra con los muertos.

He and his people with him — the terrible of nations, Are brought in to destroy the land, And they have drawn their swords against Egypt, And have filled the land [with] the wounded.

12 Haré que se sequen los ríos, y venderá la tierra en manos de hombres malvados. Haré que la tierra quede desolada, y todo lo que hay en ella, por la mano de los extranjeros. Yo, Yahvé, lo he dicho”.

And I have made floods a dry place, And I have sold the land into the hand of evil doers, And I have made desolate the land, And its fulness, by the hand of strangers, I, Jehovah, have spoken.

13 “‘Dice el Señor Yahvé: “También destruiré los ídolos, y haré que las imágenes cesen de Memphis. No habrá más un príncipe de la tierra de Egipto. Pondré miedo en la tierra de Egipto.

Thus said the Lord Jehovah: And — I have destroyed idols, And caused vain things to cease from Noph, And a prince of the land of Egypt there is no more, And I give fear in the land of Egypt.

14 Haré que Patros quede desolado, y prenderá fuego en Zoan, y ejecutará las sentencias del No.

And I have made Pathros desolate, And I have given fire against Zoan, And I have done judgments in No,

15 Derramaré mi ira sobre el Pecado, la fortaleza de Egipto. Cortaré la multitud de No.

And I have poured out My fury on Sin, the stronghold of Egypt, And I have cut off the multitude of No.

16 Yo pondré fuego en Egipto El pecado tendrá una gran angustia. No se romperá. Memphis tendrá adversarios durante el día.

And I have given fire against Egypt, Greatly pained is Sin, and No is to be rent, And Noph hath daily distresses.

17 Los jóvenes de Aven y de Pibeset caerán a espada. Irán al cautiverio.

The youths of Aven and Pi-Beseth by sword do fall, And these into captivity do go.

18 En Tehaphnehes también se retirará el día, cuando rompa allí los yugos de Egipto. El orgullo de su poder cesará en ella. En cuanto a ella, una nube la cubrirá, y sus hijas irán al cautiverio.

And in Tehaphnehes hath the day been dark, In My breaking there the yokes of Egypt, And ceased in her hath the excellency of her strength, She — a cloud doth cover her, And her daughters into captivity do go.

19 Así ejecutaré juicios sobre Egipto. Entonces sabrán que yo soy Yahvé””.

And I have done judgments in Egypt, And they have known that I [am] Jehovah.'

20 En el undécimo año, en el primer mes, en el séptimo día del mes, vino a mí la palabra de Yahvé, diciendo:

And it cometh to pass, in the eleventh year, in the first [month], in the seventh of the month, hath a word of Jehovah been unto me, saying: 'Son of man,

21 “Hijo de hombre, he quebrado el brazo de Faraón, rey de Egipto. He aquí que no ha sido vendado, para aplicarle medicinas, para ponerle una venda que lo ate, a fin de que se fortalezca para sostener la espada.

The arm of Pharaoh, king of Egypt, I have broken, And lo, it hath not been bound up to give healing, To put a bandage to bind it, To strengthen it — to lay hold on the sword.

22 Por eso dice el Señor Yahvé: ‘He aquí que yo estoy contra el Faraón, rey de Egipto, y quebraré sus brazos, el brazo fuerte y el quebrado. Haré que la espada caiga de su mano.

Therefore, thus said the Lord Jehovah: Lo, I [am] against Pharaoh, king of Egypt, And I have broken his arms, The strong one and the broken one, And have caused the sword to fall out of his hand,

23 Esparciré a los egipcios entre las naciones y los dispersaré por los países.

And scattered the Egyptians among nations, And I have spread them through lands,

24 Fortaleceré los brazos del rey de Babilonia, y pondré mi espada en su mano; pero quebraré los brazos del faraón, y él gemirá ante el rey de Babilonia con el gemido de un herido de muerte.

And strengthened the arms of the king of Babylon, And I have given My sword into his hand, And I have broken the arms of Pharaoh, And he hath groaned the groans of a pierced one — before him.

25 Yo sostendré los brazos del rey de Babilonia, pero los brazos del faraón caerán. Entonces sabrán que yo soy Yahvé cuando ponga mi espada en la mano del rey de Babilonia, y él la extienda sobre la tierra de Egipto.

And I have strengthened the arms of the king of Babylon, And the arms of Pharaoh do fall down, And they have known that I [am] Jehovah, In My giving My sword into the hand of the king of Babylon, And he hath stretched it out toward the land of Egypt.

26 Esparciré a los egipcios entre las naciones y los dispersaré por los países. Entonces sabrán que yo soy Yahvé”.

And I have scattered the Egyptians among nations, And I have spread them through lands, And they have known that I [am] Jehovah!'
