Ezequiel 28
1 La palabra de Yahvé volvió a dirigirse a mí, diciendo:
And the word of Yahweh came unto me, saying
2 “Hijo de hombre, dile al príncipe de Tiro: ‘El Señor Yahvé dice: “Porque tu corazón es elevado, y tú has dicho: ‘Soy un dios’, Me siento en el asiento de Dios, en medio de los mares”. sin embargo, eres un hombre, y ningún dios, aunque pongas tu corazón como el de un dios —
Son of man Say to the Prince of Tyre. Thus, saith My Lord. Yahweh— Because lofty, is thy heart and thou hast said A GOD, am I, In the seat of God, have I taken my seat In the heart of the seas; Whereas thou art a man, and not a GOD, But hast set thy heart as the heart of God:
3 he aquí que tú eres más sabio que Daniel. No hay ningún secreto que se le oculte.
Lo! wiser, thou than Daniel, — No secret, have they hidden from thee:
4 Por tu sabiduría y por tu entendimiento te has enriquecido, y han conseguido oro y plata en sus tesoros.
In thy wisdom and in thine understanding, hast thou gotten thee wealth, — And hast gotten gold and silver into thy treasuries:
5 Por tu gran sabiduría y con tu comercio has aumentado tus riquezas, y tu corazón se eleva a causa de tus riquezas...”
By the greatness of thy wisdom and by thy traffic, hast thou multiplied thy riches, -And thy heart hath become lofty in thy riches:
6 “‘Por eso dice el Señor Yahvé: “Porque has puesto tu corazón como el corazón de Dios,
Therefore, Thus saith My Lord Yahweh, — Because thou hast set thy heart as the heart of God,
7 por lo tanto, he aquí que traeré extraños sobre ti, el terrible de las naciones. Desenvainarán sus espadas contra la belleza de tu sabiduría. Ensuciarán su brillo.
Therefore behold me! bringing upon thee aliens, The terrible ones of the nations, - And they shall unsheathe their swords over the beauty of thy wisdom, And profane thy splendour:
8 Te llevarán a la fosa. Morirás la muerte de los que son asesinados en el corazón de los mares.
To the pit, shall they take thee down, - And thou shalt die the deaths of one thrust through, In the heart of the seas.
9 ¿Aún dirás ante el que te mate: “Yo soy Dios”? Pero tú eres un hombre, y no Dios, en la mano del que te hiere.
Wilt thou really say, God, am I, before him who is slaying thee; When, thou, art a man and not a God, in the hand of them who are piercing thee?
10 Morirás con la muerte de los incircuncisos de la mano de extraños; porque yo lo he dicho”, dice el Señor Yahvé”.
The deaths of the uncircumcised, shalt thou die by the hand of aliens, — For I have spoken, Declareth My Lord Yahweh.
11 Además, vino a mí la palabra de Yahvé, diciendo:
And the word of Yahweh came unto me, saying:
12 “Hijo de hombre, levanta un lamento sobre el rey de Tiro, y dile: ‘El Señor Yahvé dice: “Fuiste el sello de la medida completa, lleno de sabiduría, y perfecta en belleza.
Son of man Take thou up a dirge over the king of Tyre, — And thou shalt say to him Thus saith My Lord. Yahweh, Thou wast of finished proportions, Full of wisdom and Perfect in beauty:
13 Estuviste en el Edén, el jardín de Dios. Todas las piedras preciosas te adornaban: rubí, topacio, esmeralda, crisolita, ónix, jaspe, zafiro, turquesa y berilo. Orfebrería de panderetas y de tuberías estaba en ti. Se prepararon en el día en que fuisteis creados.
In Eden the garden of God, thou wast. Of every precious stone, was thy covering-Sardius. topaz, and diamond, Chrysolite beryl, and jasper, Sapphire carbuncle and emerald, - And of gold, was the work of thy timbrels and thy flutes within thee, In the day thou wast created, were they prepared:
14 Tú eras el querubín ungido que cubre. Entonces, te instalé en el monte sagrado de Dios. Has caminado arriba y abajo en medio de las piedras de fuego.
Thou, wast the anointed cherub that covered, — When I appointed thee, in the holy mount of God, thou wast, Amid stones of fire, thou didst walk to and fro:
15 Fuiste perfecto en tus caminos desde el día en que fuiste creado, hasta que la injusticia se encontró en ti.
Complete, wast thou in thy ways, from the day thou wast created, - Until perversity was found in thee.
16 Por la abundancia de tu comercio, tus entrañas se llenaron de violencia, y has pecado. Por eso te he expulsado como profano del monte de Dios. Te he destruido, querubín de cobertura, desde el centro de las piedras de fuego.
By the abundance of thy traffic, they filled thy midst with violence And thou didst sin, - So I cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God. And destroyed thee O covering cherub, from amid the stones of fire:
17 Tu corazón se enalteció a causa de tu belleza. Has corrompido tu sabiduría a causa de tu esplendor. Te he arrojado al suelo. Te he presentado ante los reyes, para que te vean.
Lofty, was thy heart in thy beauty, Thou didst corrupt thy wisdom, because of thy splendour, — Upon the earth, did I cast thee. Before kings, did I set thee That they might look at thee:
18 Por la multitud de tus iniquidades, en la injusticia de su comercio, habéis profanado vuestros santuarios. Por eso he sacado un fuego de en medio de ti. Te ha devorado. Te he convertido en cenizas en la tierra a la vista de todos los que te ven.
Owing to the abounding of thine iniquities. In the perversity of thy traffic, Thou didst profane thy sanctuaries, Therefore brought I forth fire out of thy midst. the same devoured thee, And I turned thee to ashes on the ground, Before the eyes of all beholding thee:
19 Todos los que te conocen entre los pueblos se asombrarán de ti. Te has convertido en un terror, y no existirás más”.
All that had known thee among the peoples were astounded over thee, — A terror, hast thou become, And, art not, Unto times age-abiding.
20 La palabra de Yahvé vino a mí, diciendo:
And the word of Yahweh came unto me saying:
21 “Hijo de hombre, pon tu rostro hacia Sidón, y profetiza contra ella,
Son of man, Set thy face towards Zidon, — And prophesy over it;
22 y di: ‘El Señor Yahvé dice: “He aquí que estoy contra ti, Sidón. Seré glorificado entre vosotros. Entonces sabrán que yo soy Yahvé, cuando haya ejecutado juicios en ella, y soy santificado en ella.
and thou shalt say— Thus saith My Lord. Yahweh, Behold me! against thee, O Zidon, Therefore will I get myself glory in thy midst, — [And they shall know that, I, am Yahweh, ] When I have executed against her judgments And hallowed myself in her.
23 Porque enviaré a ella la peste, y sangre en sus calles. Los heridos caerán dentro de ella, con la espada sobre ella en cada lado. Entonces sabrán que yo soy Yahvé.
So then I will send against her, pestilence and blood in her streets, And the wounded shall fall in her midst by the sword upon her from every side, — And they shall know that, I, am Yahweh.
24 “‘“Ya no habrá zarza que pinche a la casa de Israel, ni espina que hiera a los que la rodean y la desprecian. Entonces sabrán que yo soy el Señor Yahvé”.
And the house of Israel shall no more have a stinging prickle or a wounding thorn, of any round about them who used to despise them, - So shall they know that, I, am The Lord Yahweh.
25 “‘El Señor Yahvé dice: “Cuando haya reunido a la casa de Israel de entre los pueblos en los que está dispersa, y me muestre como santo entre ellos a la vista de las naciones, entonces habitarán en su propia tierra que le di a mi siervo Jacob.
Thus saith My Lord, Yahweh, When I gather together the house of Israel, from the midst of the peoples among whom they have been scattered, and shall hallow myself in them before the eyes of the nations Then shall they dwell upon their own soil, which I gave to my servant—to Jacob:
26 Habitarán en ella con seguridad. Sí, construirán casas, plantarán viñedos y habitarán con seguridad cuando yo haya ejecutado juicios sobre todos los que los rodean y los han tratado con desprecio. Entonces sabrán que yo soy Yahvé, su Dios”.
Yea they shall dwell thereupon securely, Yea shall build houses, and plant vineyards, and dwell securely, — When I have executed judgments on all that despised them on every side of them, So shall they know that, I, Yahweh am their God
