Ezequiel 25

1 La palabra de Yahvé vino a mí, diciendo:

And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

2 “Hijo de hombre, pon tu rostro hacia los hijos de Amón y profetiza contra ellos.

Son of man, set thy face toward the children of Ammon, and prophesy against them:

3 Di a los hijos de Amón: “¡Oigan la palabra del Señor Yahvé! El Señor Yahvé dice: “Por cuanto dijisteis: ‘¡Ah!’ contra mi santuario cuando fue profanado, y contra la tierra de Israel cuando fue desolada, y contra la casa de Judá cuando fue en cautiverio,

and say unto the children of Ammon, Hear the word of the Lord GOD; Thus saith the Lord GOD: Because thou saidst, Aha, against my sanctuary, when it was profaned; and against the land of Israel, when it was made desolate; and against the house of Judah, when they went into captivity:

4 por tanto, he aquí que os entregaré a los hijos del oriente como posesión. Ellos pondrán sus campamentos en ti y harán sus moradas en ti. Comerán tus frutos y beberán tu leche.

therefore behold, I will deliver thee to the children of the east for a possession, and they shall set their encampments in thee, and make their dwellings in thee; they shall eat thy fruit, and they shall drink thy milk.

5 Haré de Rabá un establo para los camellos y de los hijos de Amón un lugar de descanso para los rebaños. Entonces sabrán que yo soy Yahvé”.

And I will make Rabbah a stable for camels, and the children of Ammon a couching place for flocks: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

6 Porque el Señor Yahvé dice: “Por haber batido las manos, estampado los pies y alegrado con todo el desprecio de tu alma contra la tierra de Israel,

For thus saith the Lord GOD: Because thou hast clapped thine hands, and stamped with the feet, and rejoiced with all the despite of thy soul against the land of Israel;

7 por lo tanto, he aquí que he extendido mi mano sobre ti y te entregaré como botín a las naciones. Te cortaré de entre los pueblos, y te haré perecer de entre los países. Te destruiré. Entonces sabrás que yo soy Yahvé”.

therefore behold, I have stretched out mine hand upon thee, and will deliver thee for a spoil to the nations; and I will cut thee off from the peoples, and I will cause thee to perish out of the countries: I will destroy thee; and thou shalt know that I am the LORD.

8 “‘Dice el Señor Yahvé: “Porque Moab y Seir dicen: ‘He aquí que la casa de Judá es como todas las naciones’,

Thus saith the Lord GOD: Because that Moab and Seir do say, Behold, the house of Judah is like unto all the nations;

9 por lo tanto, he aquí que yo abro el costado de Moab desde las ciudades, desde sus ciudades que están en sus fronteras, la gloria del país, Beth Jeshimoth, Baal Meón y Quiriatáim,

therefore behold, I will open the side of Moab from the cities, from his cities which are on his frontiers, the glory of the country, Beth-jeshimoth, Baal-meon, and Kiriathaim,

10 a los hijos del oriente, para que vayan contra los hijos de Amón; y se los daré por posesión, para que los hijos de Amón no sean recordados entre las naciones.

unto the children of the east, to go against the children of Ammon, and I will give them for a possession, that the children of Ammon may not be remembered among the nations:

11 Ejecutaré juicios sobre Moab. Entonces sabrán que yo soy Yahvé”.

and I will execute judgments upon Moab; and they shall know that I am the LORD.

12 “‘Dice el Señor Yahvé: “Por cuanto Edom se ha ensañado con la casa de Judá tomando venganza, y ha ofendido en gran manera, y se ha vengado de ellos”,

Thus saith the Lord GOD: Because that Edom hath dealt against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and hath greatly offended, and revenged himself upon them;

13 por eso dice el Señor Yahvé: “Extenderé mi mano sobre Edom, y cortaré de ella hombres y animales; y la haré desolada desde Temán. Caerán a espada hasta Dedán.

therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, I will stretch out mine hand upon Edom, and will cut off man and beast from it: and I will make it desolate from Teman; even unto Dedan shall they fall by the sword.

14 Yo pondré mi venganza en Edom por mano de mi pueblo Israel. Harán en Edom según mi cólera y según mi ira. Entonces conocerán mi venganza”, dice el Señor Yahvé.

And I will lay my vengeance upon Edom by the hand of my people Israel; and they shall do in Edom according to mine anger and according to my fury: and they shall know my vengeance, saith the Lord GOD.

15 “‘El Señor Yahvé dice: “Por cuanto los filisteos se han vengado, y se han vengado con desprecio del alma para destruir con hostilidad perpetua,”

Thus saith the Lord GOD: Because the Philistines have dealt by revenge, and have taken vengeance with despite of soul to destroy it with perpetual enmity;

16 por lo tanto, el Señor Yahvé dice: “He aquí que yo extiendo mi mano sobre los filisteos, y cortaré a los queretanos, y destruiré el remanente de la costa del mar.

therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I will stretch out mine hand upon the Philistines, and I will cut off the Cherethites, and destroy the remnant of the sea coast.

17 Ejecutaré sobre ellos una gran venganza con reprimendas de ira. Entonces sabrán que yo soy Yahvé, cuando haga mi venganza contra ellos”.

And I will execute great vengeance upon them with furious rebukes; and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall lay my vengeance upon them.
