Ezequiel 19
1 “Además, levanta un lamento por los príncipes de Israel,
And thou, sone of man, take weiling on the princes of Israel;
2 y di, ‘¿Qué era tu madre? Una leona. Se acurrucó entre leones, en medio de los jóvenes leones alimentó a sus cachorros.
and thou schalt seie, Whi thi modir, a lionesse, lai among liouns? In the myddis of litle liouns sche nurschide hir whelpis,
3 Ha criado a uno de sus cachorros. Se convirtió en un joven león. Aprendió a atrapar la presa. Devoró a los hombres.
and ledde out oon of hir litle liouns; he was maad a lioun, and he lernyde to take prei, and to ete men.
4 También las naciones oyeron hablar de él. Fue tomado en su fosa; y lo llevaron con garfios a la tierra de Egipto.
And hethene men herden of hym, and token hym not withouten her woundis; and thei brouyten hym in chaynes in to the lond of Egipt.
5 “‘Cuando vio que había esperado, y su esperanza se perdió, luego se llevó a otro de sus cachorros, y lo convirtió en un joven león.
Which modir whanne sche hadde seyn, that sche was sijk, and the abiding of hym perischide, took oon of her litle liouns, and made hym a lioun.
6 Subió y bajó entre los leones. Se convirtió en un joven león. Aprendió a atrapar la presa. Devoró a los hombres.
Which yede among liouns, and was maad a lioun;
7 Él conocía sus palacios, y asolaron sus ciudades. La tierra estaba desolada con su plenitud, por el ruido de sus rugidos.
and lernede to take prey, and to deuoure men. He lernyde to make widewis, and to brynge the citees of men in to desert; and the lond and the fulnesse therof was maad desolat, of the vois of his roryng.
8 Entonces las naciones lo atacaron por todos lados desde las provincias. Extendieron su red sobre él. Fue tomado en su fosa.
And hethene men camen togidere ayens hym on ech side fro prouynces, and spredden on hym her net; he was takun in the woundis of tho hethene men.
9 Lo pusieron en una jaula con ganchos, y lo llevaron ante el rey de Babilonia. Lo llevaron a las fortalezas, para que su voz no se oiga más en los montes de Israel.
And thei senten hym in to a caue in chaines, and brouyten hym to the kyng of Babiloyne; and thei senten hym in to prisoun, that his vois were no more herd on the hillis of Israel.
10 “‘Tu madre fue como una vid en tu sangre, plantada junto a las aguas. Era fructífera y llena de ramas a causa de las muchas aguas.
Thi modir as a vyner in thi blood was plauntid on watre; the fruitis therof and the boowis therof encreessiden of many watris.
11 Tenía fuertes ramas para los cetros de los gobernantes. Su estatura era exaltada entre las gruesas ramas. Se vieron en su altura con la multitud de sus ramas.
And sadde yerdis weren maad to it in to septris of lordis, and the stature therof was enhaunsid among boowis; and it siy his hiynesse in the multitude of hise siouns.
12 Pero fue arrancado con furia. Fue arrojado al suelo, y el viento del este secó sus frutos. Sus fuertes ramas se rompieron y se marchitaron. El fuego los consumió.
And it was drawun out in wraththe, and was cast forth in to erthe; and a brennynge wynd dryede the fruyt therof, and the yerdis of strengthe therof welewiden, and weren maad drie, and fier eet it.
13 Ahora está plantada en el desierto, en una tierra seca y sedienta.
And now it is plauntid ouer in desert, in a lond with out weie, and thristi.
14 El fuego ha salido de sus ramas. Ha devorado su fruto, para que no haya en ella ninguna rama fuerte que sea cetro para gobernar”. Esto es un lamento, y será un lamento”.
And fier yede out of the yerde of the braunchis therof, that eet the fruyt therof. And a stronge yerde, the ceptre of lordis, was not in it. It is weilyng, and it schal be in to weilyng.
