Ezequiel 10
1 Entonces miré, y vi que en la extensión que estaba sobre la cabeza de los querubines aparecía sobre ellos como una piedra de zafiro, como la apariencia de un trono.
And saw and behold in the firmament that was over the heads of the cherubims, there appeared over them as it were the sapphire stone, as the appearance of the likeness of a throne.
2 Habló al hombre vestido de lino y le dijo: “Entra entre las ruedas giratorias, debajo del querubín, y llena tus dos manos de carbones de fuego de entre los querubines y espárcelos sobre la ciudad.” Entró mientras yo miraba.
And he spoke to the man, that was clothed with linen, and said: Go in between the wheels that are under the cherubims and fill thy hand with the coals of fire that are between the cherubims, and pour them out upon the city. And he went in, in my sight:
3 Los querubines estaban a la derecha de la casa cuando el hombre entró, y la nube llenaba el atrio interior.
And the cherubims stood on the right side of the house, when the man went in, and a cloud filled the inner court.
4 La gloria de Yahvé se elevó desde el querubín y se paró sobre el umbral de la casa; y la casa se llenó de la nube, y el atrio se llenó del resplandor de la gloria de Yahvé.
And the glory of the Lord was lifted up from above the cherub to the threshold of the house: and the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was filled with the brightness of the glory of the Lord.
5 El sonido de las alas de los querubines se oía hasta el atrio exterior, como la voz del Dios Todopoderoso cuando habla.
And the sound of the wings of the cherubims was heard even to the outward court as the voice of God Almighty speaking.
6 Cuando ordenó al hombre vestido de lino, diciendo: “Toma fuego de entre las ruedas giratorias, de entre los querubines”, entró y se puso al lado de una rueda.
And when he had commanded the man that was clothed with linen, saying: Take fire from the midst of the wheels that are between the cherubims: he went in and stood beside the wheel,
7 El querubín extendió su mano de entre los querubines hacia el fuego que estaba entre los querubines, y tomó parte de él, y lo puso en las manos del que estaba vestido de lino, quien lo tomó y salió.
And one cherub stretched out his arm from the midst of the cherubims to the fire that was between the cherubims: and he took, and put it into the hands of him that was clothed with linen: who took it and went forth.
8 La forma de la mano de un hombre apareció aquí en los querubines bajo sus alas.
And there appeared in the cherubims the likeness of a man’s hand under their wings.
9 Miré, y he aquí que había cuatro ruedas junto a los querubines, una rueda junto a un querubín y otra rueda junto a otro querubín. El aspecto de las ruedas era como una piedra de berilo.
And I saw, and behold there were four wheels by the cherubims: one wheel by one cherub, and another wheel by another cherub: and the appearance of the wheels was to the sight like the chrysolite stone:
10 En cuanto a su aspecto, las cuatro tenían una sola semejanza, como una rueda dentro de otra rueda.
And as to their appearance, all four were alike: as if a wheel were in the midst of a wheel.
11 Cuando iban, lo hacían en sus cuatro direcciones. No giraban mientras avanzaban, sino que seguían al lugar donde miraba la cabeza. No giraban mientras iban.
And when they went, they went by four ways: and they turned not when they went: but to the place whither they first turned, the rest also followed, and did not turn back.
12 Todo su cuerpo, incluyendo sus espaldas, sus manos, sus alas y las ruedas, estaban llenos de ojos por todas partes, incluso las ruedas que tenían los cuatro.
And their whole body, and their necks, and their hands, and their wings, and the circles were full of eyes, round about the four wheels.
13 En cuanto a las ruedas, fueron llamadas a mis oídos “las ruedas giratorias”.
And these wheels he called voluble, in my hearing.
14 Cada una de ellas tenía cuatro caras. La primera cara era la del querubín. La segunda cara era la cara de un hombre. El tercer rostro era el de un león. La cuarta era la cara de un águila.
And every one had four faces: one face was the face of a cherub, and the second face, the face of a man: and in the third was the face of a lion: and in the fourth the face of an eagle.
15 Los querubines se levantaron. Esta es la criatura viviente que vi junto al río Chebar.
And the cherubims were lifted up: this is the living creature that I had seen by the river Chobar.
16 Cuando los querubines iban, las ruedas iban junto a ellos; y cuando los querubines levantaban sus alas para subir de la tierra, las ruedas tampoco giraban junto a ellos.
And when the cherubims went, the wheels also went by them: and when the cherubims lifted up their wings, to mount up from the earth, the wheels stayed not behind, but were by them.
17 Cuando se paraban, éstos se paraban. Cuando se levantaban, éstos se levantaban con ellos; porque el espíritu del ser viviente estaba en ellos.
When they stood, these stood: and when they were lifted up, these were lifted up: for the spirit of life was in them.
18 La gloria del Señor salió del umbral de la casa y se paró sobre los querubines.
And the glory of the Lord went forth from the threshold of the temple: and stood over the cherubims.
19 Los querubines levantaron sus alas y se elevaron de la tierra a mi vista cuando salieron, con las ruedas a su lado. Entonces se pararon a la entrada de la puerta oriental de la casa de Yahvé, y la gloria del Dios de Israel estaba por encima de ellos.
And the cherubims lifting up their wings, were raised from the earth before me: and as they went out, the wheels also followed: and it stood in the entry of the east gate of the house of the Lord: and the glory of the God of Israel was over them.
20 Este es el ser viviente que vi bajo el Dios de Israel junto al río Chebar; y supe que eran querubines.
This is the living creature, which I saw under the God of Israel by the river Chobar: and I understood that they were cherubims.
21 Cada uno tenía cuatro rostros, y cada uno cuatro alas. La semejanza de las manos de un hombre estaba debajo de sus alas.
Each one had four faces, and each one had four wings: and the likeness of a man’s hand was under their wings.
22 En cuanto a la semejanza de sus rostros, eran los rostros que vi junto al río Chebar, sus apariencias y ellos mismos. Cada uno de ellos iba de frente.
And as to the likeness of their faces, they were the same faces which I had seen by the river Chobar, and their looks, and the impulse of every one to go straight forward.
