Éxodo 6
1 Yahvé dijo a Moisés: “Ahora verás lo que haré con el Faraón, porque con mano fuerte los dejará ir, y con mano fuerte los expulsará de su tierra.”
Adonai said to Moses [Drawn out], “Now you shall see what I will do to Pharaoh, for by a strong hand he shall let them go, and by a strong hand he shall divorce them out of his land.”
2 Dios habló a Moisés y le dijo: “Yo soy Yahvé.
God spoke to Moses [Drawn out], and said to him, “I am Adonai;
3 Me presenté a Abraham, a Isaac y a Jacob como Dios Todopoderoso; pero por mi nombre Yahvé no me conocieron.
and I appeared to Abraham [Father of a multitude], to Isaac [Laughter], and to Jacob [Supplanter], as El Shaddai [God Almighty]; but by my name Adonai I was not known to them.
4 También he establecido mi pacto con ellos, para darles la tierra de Canaán, la tierra de sus viajes, en la que vivían como extranjeros.
I have also established my covenant ·binding contract between two or more parties· with them, to give them the land of Canaan [Humbled], the land of their travels, in which they lived as aliens.
5 Además, he oído el gemido de los hijos de Israel, a quienes los egipcios mantienen en esclavitud, y me he acordado de mi pacto.
Moreover I have sh'ma ·heard obeyed· the groaning of the children of Israel [God prevails], whom the Egyptians [people from Abode of slavery] keep in bondage, and I have remembered my covenant.
6 Por tanto, di a los hijos de Israel: “Yo soy Yahvé, y os sacaré de las cargas de los egipcios, y os libraré de su esclavitud, y os redimiré con brazo extendido y con grandes juicios.
Therefore tell the children of Israel [God prevails], ‘I am Adonai, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians [people from Abode of slavery], and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm, and with great judgments:
7 Os tomaré para mí como pueblo. Yo seré tu Dios; y sabrás que yo soy Yahvé, tu Dios, que te saca de las cargas de los egipcios.
and I will take you to be my people, and I will be your God; and you shall know that I am Adonai your God, who brings you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians [people from Abode of slavery].
8 Os llevaré a la tierra que juré dar a Abraham, a Isaac y a Jacob, y os la daré en herencia: yo soy Yahvé”.
I will bring you into the land which I swore to give to Abraham [Father of a multitude], to Isaac [Laughter], and to Jacob [Supplanter]; and I will give it to you for a heritage: I am Adonai.’”
9 Moisés habló así a los hijos de Israel, pero ellos no escucharon a Moisés por la angustia de espíritu y la cruel esclavitud.
Moses [Drawn out] spoke so to the children of Israel [God prevails], but they didn’t sh'ma ·hear obey· unto Moses [Drawn out] for anguish of spirit, and for cruel bondage.
10 Yahvé habló a Moisés diciendo:
Adonai spoke to Moses [Drawn out], saying,
11 “Entra y habla con el faraón, rey de Egipto, para que deje salir a los hijos de Israel de su tierra.”
“Go in, speak to Pharaoh king of Egypt [Abode of slavery], that he let the children of Israel [God prevails] go out of his land.”
12 Moisés habló ante el Señor diciendo: “He aquí que los hijos de Israel no me han escuchado. ¿Cómo, pues, me va a escuchar el faraón, si tengo los labios incircuncisos?”
Moses [Drawn out] spoke before Adonai, saying, “Behold, the children of Israel [God prevails] haven’t sh'ma ·heard obeyed· unto me. How then shall Pharaoh listen to me, who am of uncircumcised lips?”
13 Yahvé habló a Moisés y a Aarón y les dio una orden a los hijos de Israel y al faraón, rey de Egipto, para que sacaran a los hijos de Israel de la tierra de Egipto.
Adonai spoke to Moses [Drawn out] and to Aaron [Light-bringer], and gave them an enjoinment to the children of Israel [God prevails], and to Pharaoh king of Egypt [Abode of slavery], to bring the children of Israel [God prevails] out of the land of Egypt [Abode of slavery].
14 Estos son los jefes de las casas de sus padres. Los hijos de Rubén, primogénito de Israel: Hanoc, Falu, Esrom y Carmi; estas son las familias de Rubén.
These are the heads of their fathers’ houses. The sons of Reuben [See, a son!] the firstborn of Israel [God prevails]: Hanoch, and Pallu, Hezron, and Carmi; these are the families of Reuben [See, a son!].
15 Los hijos de Simeón: Jemuel, Jamín, Ohad, Jaquín, Zohar y Saúl, hijo de una cananea; estas son las familias de Simeón.
The sons of Simeon [Hearing]: Jemuel, and Jamin, and Ohad, and Jachin, and Zohar, and Shaul [Asked for] the son of a Canaanite [Descendant of Humbled] woman; these are the families of Simeon [Hearing].
16 Estos son los nombres de los hijos de Leví según sus generaciones Gersón, Coat y Merari; y los años de la vida de Leví fueron ciento treinta y siete años.
These are the names of the sons of Levi [United with] according to their generations: Gershon, and Kohath, and Merari; and the years of the life of Levi [United with] were one hundred thirty-seven years.
17 Los hijos de Gersón: Libni y Simei, según sus familias.
The sons of Gershon: Libni and Shimei, according to their families.
18 Los hijos de Coat Amram, Izhar, Hebrón y Uziel; y los años de la vida de Coat fueron ciento treinta y tres años.
The sons of Kohath: Amram, and Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel; and the years of the life of Kohath were one hundred thirty-three years.
19 Los hijos de Merari: Mahli y Musi. Estas son las familias de los levitas según sus generaciones.
The sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi. These are the families of the Levites [Descendants of United with] according to their generations.
20 Amram tomó como esposa a Jocabed, hermana de su padre, y ella le dio a luz a Aarón y a Moisés. Los años de la vida de Amram fueron ciento treinta y siete años.
Amram took Jochebed his father’s sister to himself as wife; and she bore him Aaron [Light-bringer] and Moses [Drawn out]: and the years of the life of Amram were one hundred and thirty-seven years.
21 Los hijos de Izhar Coré, Nefeg y Zicri.
The sons of Izhar: Korach [Bald one, Frost], and Nepheg, and Zichri.
22 Los hijos de Uziel: Misael, Elzafán y Sitri.
The sons of Uzziel: Mishael, and Elzaphan, and Sithri.
23 Aarón tomó por esposa a Elisaba, hija de Aminadab, hermana de Naasón, y ella le dio a luz a Nadab y Abiú, Eleazar e Itamar.
Aaron [Light-bringer] took Elisheba, the daughter of Amminadab, the sister of Nahshon, as his wife; and she bore him Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar [Help of God] and Ithamar.
24 Los hijos de Coré: Asir, Elcana y Abiasaf; estas son las familias de los Coreitas.
The sons of Korach [Bald one, Frost]: Assir, and Elkanah, and Abiasaph; these are the families of the Korahites.
25 Eleazar, hijo de Aarón, tomó por mujer a una de las hijas de Putiel, y ella le dio a luz a Finees. Estos son los jefes de las casas paternas de los levitas según sus familias.
Eleazar [Help of God] Aaron [Light-bringer]’s son took one of the daughters of Putiel as his wife; and she bore him Pinchas [Bronze skin]. These are the heads of the fathers’ houses of the Levites [Descendants of United with] according to their families.
26 Estos son aquel Aarón y aquel Moisés a quienes Yahvé dijo: “Sacad a los hijos de Israel de la tierra de Egipto según sus ejércitos.”
These are that Aaron [Light-bringer] and Moses [Drawn out], to whom Adonai said, “Bring out the children of Israel [God prevails] from the land of Egypt [Abode of slavery] according to their armies.”
27 Estos son los que hablaron con el faraón, rey de Egipto, para sacar a los hijos de Israel de Egipto. Estos son Moisés y Aarón.
These are those who spoke to Pharaoh king of Egypt [Abode of slavery], to bring out the children of Israel [God prevails] from Egypt [Abode of slavery]. These are that Moses [Drawn out] and Aaron [Light-bringer].
28 El día en que Yahvé habló con Moisés en la tierra de Egipto,
On the day when Adonai spoke to Moses [Drawn out] in the land of Egypt [Abode of slavery],
29 Yahvé dijo a Moisés: “Yo soy Yahvé. Dile al Faraón, rey de Egipto, todo lo que te digo”.
Adonai spoke to Moses [Drawn out], saying, “I am Adonai. Speak to Pharaoh king of Egypt [Abode of slavery] all that I speak to you.”
30 Moisés dijo ante Yahvé: “He aquí que soy de labios incircuncisos, ¿y cómo me escuchará el Faraón?”
Moses [Drawn out] said before Adonai, “Behold, I am of uncircumcised lips, and how shall Pharaoh sh'ma ·hear obey· unto me?”
