Hechos 10
1 Había en Cesárea un hombre llamado Cornelio, centurión del llamado Regimiento de Italia,
A man now certain (was *k*) in Caesarea named Cornelius, [was] a centurion of [the] Cohort which is called Italian,
2 hombre piadoso y temeroso de Dios con toda su casa, que daba generosamente al pueblo donativos para los necesitados y oraba siempre a Dios.
devout and fearing God with all the household of him, doing (also *k*) alms many to the people and praying to God (through *N(K)O*) (all [times]; *N(k)O*)
3 Hacia la hora novena del día, vio claramente en una visión a un ángel de Dios que se le acercaba y le decía: “¡Cornelio!”
He saw in a vision clearly as if about hour [the] ninth [hour] of the day an angel of God having come to him and having said to him; Cornelius!
4 Él, fijando sus ojos en él y asustado, dijo: “¿Qué es, Señor?” Le dijo: “Tus oraciones y tus ofrendas a los necesitados han subido a la memoria ante Dios.
And having looked intently on him and afraid having become he said; What is it, Lord? He said then to him; The prayers of You and the alms of you have ascended as a memorial (before *N(k)O*) God.
5 Ahora envía hombres a Jope y busca a Simón, que también se llama Pedro.
And now do send men to Joppa and do yourself summon Simon (someone *n(o)*) who (is called Peter; *NK(o)*)
6 Se aloja en casa de un curtidor llamado Simón, cuya casa está a la orilla del mar.
He lodges with a certain Simon a tanner, whose is [the] house by [the] sea (this [one] will tell you what you it behooves to do. *K*)
7 Cuando el ángel que le hablaba se marchó, Cornelio llamó a dos de los criados de su casa y a un soldado devoto de los que le atendían continuamente.
When then had departed the angel who is speaking (*k*) (to him, *N(K)O*) having called two of the servants (of him *k*) and a soldier devout of those attending to him,
8 Después de explicarles todo, los envió a Jope.
and having related all things to them he sent them to Joppa.
9 Al día siguiente, cuando iban de camino y se acercaban a la ciudad, Pedro subió a la azotea a orar, hacia el mediodía.
On the now next day when are journeying (these *NK(o)*) and to the city are approaching, went up Peter on the housetop to pray about hour [the] sixth.
10 Le entró hambre y quiso comer, pero mientras se preparaba, cayó en trance.
He became then hungry and was desiring to eat. when were preparing however ([some] of them happened *N(k)O*) upon him a trance,
11 Vio el cielo abierto y un recipiente que descendía hacia él, como una gran sábana bajada por cuatro esquinas sobre la tierra,
and he beholds heaven opened and descending (onto him *K*) a vessel certain as a sheet great by four corners (bound and *KO*) being let down upon the earth;
12 en la que había toda clase de cuadrúpedos de la tierra, animales salvajes, reptiles y aves del cielo.
in which were all the quadrupeds (and the beasts *K*) and (the *k*) creeping things of the earth and (*k*) birds of heaven.
13 Una voz se dirigió a él: “¡Levántate, Pedro, mata y come!”
And came a voice to him: Having risen up Peter, do kill and do eat.
14 Pero Pedro dijo: “No es así, Señor, porque nunca he comido nada que sea común o impuro”.
And Peter said; In no way, Lord; for never I ate anything common (or *N(k)O*) unclean.
15 La segunda vez le llegó una voz: “Lo que Dios ha limpiado, no lo llames impuro”.
And a voice [came] again for [the] second time to him: What God has cleansed, you yourself not do call common.
16 Esto lo hizo tres veces, e inmediatamente el objeto fue recibido en el cielo.
This now took place for three times and (immediately *N(K)O*) was taken up the vessel into heaven.
17 Mientras Pedro estaba muy perplejo sobre el significado de la visión que había visto, he aquí que los hombres enviados por Cornelio, habiendo preguntado por la casa de Simón, se presentaron ante la puerta,
While then in himself was perplexed Peter what maybe would be the vision that he had seen, (and *k*) behold the men who sent (from *N(k)O*) Cornelius having inquired for the house (*no*) of Simon, stood at the gate;
18 y llamaron preguntando si Simón, que también se llamaba Pedro, se alojaba allí.
And having called out (they were asking *NK(o)*) if Simon who is being called Peter here is lodged.
19 Mientras Pedro reflexionaba sobre la visión, el Espíritu le dijo: “Mira, tres hombres te buscan.
And Peter (thinking *N(k)O*) over the vision said to him the Spirit: Behold men (three *NK(O)*) (are seeking *N(k)O*) you;
20 Levántate, baja y ve con ellos, sin dudar, porque yo los he enviado”.
But having risen do go down and do proceed with them nothing doubting, (since *N(k)O*) I myself have sent them.
21 Pedro bajó a los hombres y les dijo: “Mirad, yo soy el que buscáis. ¿Por qué habéis venido?”
Having gone down then Peter to the men (who sent from Cornelius to him *K*) he said; Behold I myself am whom you seek; what [is] the cause for which you are here?
22 Dijeron: “Cornelio, centurión, hombre justo y temeroso de Dios, y bien hablado por toda la nación de los judíos, fue dirigido por un ángel santo para que os invitara a su casa y escuchara lo que dijerais.”
And they said; Cornelius a centurion, a man righteous and fearing God being well testified to then by all the nation of the Jews, was divinely instructed by an angel holy to send for you to the house of him and to hear declaration from you.
23 Así que los hizo pasar y les proporcionó un lugar donde alojarse. Al día siguiente, Pedro se levantó y salió con ellos, y le acompañaron algunos de los hermanos de Jope.
Having called in therefore them he lodged [them]. On the now next day (having risen up *NO*) (*k*) (Peter *K*) he went forth with them, and some of the brothers those from (*k*) Joppa went with him.
24 Al día siguiente entraron en Cesarea. Cornelio los esperaba, habiendo reunido a sus parientes y amigos cercanos.
(and *k*) On the (now *no*) next day (he entered *N(k)O*) into Caesarea; and Cornelius was expecting them having called together the relatives of him and close friends.
25 Cuando Pedro entró, Cornelio le salió al encuentro, se postró a sus pies y le adoró.
as then was entering Peter, having met with him Cornelius having fallen at the feet worshiped [him].
26 Pero Pedro lo levantó, diciendo: “¡Levántate! Yo también soy un hombre”.
But Peter lifted up him saying; do rise up; also I myself myself a man am.
27 Mientras hablaba con él, entró y encontró a muchos reunidos.
And talking with him he entered and he finds having gathered together many,
28 Les dijo: “Vosotros mismos sabéis que es cosa ilícita que un hombre que es judío se junte o se acerque a uno de otra nación, pero Dios me ha mostrado que no debo llamar impuro o inmundo a ningún hombre.
He was saying then to them; You yourselves know how unlawful it is for a man Jewish to unite himself or to come near to [someone] foreign; And to me And to me God has shown nothing common or unclean to call man,
29 Por lo tanto, también yo vine sin quejarme cuando se me mandó llamar. Pregunto, pues, por qué mandasteis a buscarme”.
Therefore also without objection I came having been summoned. I inquire therefore, for what reason did you summon me?
30 Cornelio dijo: “Hace cuatro días estuve ayunando hasta esta hora; y a la hora novena, oré en mi casa, y he aquí que se presentó ante mí un hombre con ropasbrillantes
And Cornelius was saying; Ago four days until this the hour I was (fasting and *K*) at the ninth (hour *k*) praying in the house of mine, and behold a man stood before me in apparel bright
31 y dijo: “Cornelio, tu oración ha sido escuchada, y tus donativos a los necesitados son recordados a los ojos de Dios.
and said; Cornelius, has been heard your prayer and the alms of you was remembered before God.
32 Envía, pues, a Jope y convoca a Simón, que también se llama Pedro. Está en casa de un curtidor llamado Simón, a la orilla del mar. Cuando venga, te hablará”.
do send therefore to Joppa and do yourself call for Simon who is called Peter; He lodges in [the] house of Simon a tanner by [the] sea (who having come he will speak to you. *K*)
33 Por eso le envié enseguida, y fue bueno que viniera. Ahora, pues, estamos todos aquí presentes a los ojos de Dios para oír todo lo que os ha sido ordenado por Dios.”
At once therefore I sent to you, you yourself then well did having come. Now therefore all we ourselves before God are present to hear all the [things] commanded you by the (Lord. *N(K)O*)
34 Pedro abrió la boca y dijo: “En verdad percibo que Dios no muestra favoritismo;
Having opened then Peter the mouth he said; Of a truth I grasped that not is One who shows partiality God,
35 sino que en toda nación el que le teme y obra la justicia es aceptable para él.
but in every nation which is fearing Him and working righteousness acceptable to Him is.
36 La palabra que envió a los hijos de Israel, anunciando la buena noticia de la paz por medio de Jesucristo — que es el Señor de todo —
the word that He sent to the sons of Israel evangelising [about] peace through Jesus Christ — He is of all Lord,
37 vosotros mismos sabéis lo que sucedió, que se proclamó por toda Judea, empezando por Galilea, después del bautismo que predicó Juan;
You yourselves know the having come declaration through all Judea, (having begun *N(k)O*) from Galilee after the baptism that proclaimed John:
38 cómo Dios ungió con el Espíritu Santo y con poder a Jesús de Nazaret, que anduvo haciendo el bien y curando a todos los oprimidos por el diablo, porque Dios estaba con él.
Jesus from Nazareth, how anointed Him God Spirit with Holy and with power, who went about doing good and healing all those being oppressed by the devil, because God was with Him;
39 Nosotros somos testigos de todo lo que hizo tanto en el país de los judíos como en Jerusalén; a quien también mataron, colgándolo en un madero.
And we ourselves (are *k*) witnesses of all things that He did in both the region of the Jews and in Jerusalem; whom (also *no*) they executed having hanged [Him] on a tree.
40 Dios le resucitó al tercer día y le dio a conocer,
This One God raised up (on *n*) the third day and gave Him revealed to become
41 no a todo el pueblo, sino a los testigos elegidos de antemano por Dios, a nosotros, que comimos y bebimos con él después de que resucitó de entre los muertos.
not [revealed] to all the people, but to [the] witnesses who chosen beforehand by God to us who we ate with and we drank with Him after rising of Him out from [the] dead;
42 Nos ordenó que predicáramos al pueblo y diéramos testimonio de que éste es el que ha sido designado por Dios como Juez de los vivos y de los muertos.
And He instructed us to proclaim to the people and to testify fully that (He *N(k)O*) is the [One] appointed by God [as] judge of living and dead.
43 Todos los profetas dan testimonio de él, de que por su nombre todo el que crea en él recibirá la remisión de los pecados.”
To Him all the prophets bear witness [that] forgiveness of sins receiving through the name of Him everyone who is believing in Him.
44 Mientras Pedro seguía diciendo estas palabras, el Espíritu Santo cayó sobre todos los que escuchaban la palabra.
Still when is speaking Peter declarations these fell the Spirit Holy upon all those hearing the word.
45 Los de la circuncisión que habían creído estaban asombrados, y todos los que venían con Pedro, porque el don del Espíritu Santo se derramaba también sobre los gentiles.
And were amazed the from [the] circumcision believers (as many as *NK(O)*) had come with Peter, that even upon the Gentiles the gift of the Holy (*o*) Spirit has been poured out;
46 Porque les oían hablar en otras lenguas y magnificar a Dios. Entonces Pedro contestó:
They were hearing for when they are speaking in tongues and magnifying God. Then answered (*k*) Peter;
47 “¿Puede alguien prohibir a esta gente que se bautice con agua? Han recibido el Espíritu Santo igual que nosotros”.
surely not ever the water is able to withhold anyone not to baptize these who the Spirit Holy have received (as *N(k)O*) also [have] we ourselves?
48 Les ordenó que se bautizaran en el nombre de Jesucristo. Luego le pidieron que se quedara unos días.
He commanded (now *N(k)O*) them in the name (of Jesus Christ *NO*) to be baptized (of the Lord. *K*) Then they asked him to remain days some.
