2 Crónicas 3
1 Salomón comenzó a edificar la Casa de Yahvé en Jerusalén, en el monte Moriah, donde Yahvé se había aparecido a David su padre, la cual preparó en el lugar que David había designado, en la era de Ornán el jebuseo.
Then Solomon began to build the house of the LORD at Jerusalem on Mount Moriah, where he appeared to David his father, at the place that David had designated, on the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite.
2 Comenzó a construir en el segundo día del segundo mes, en el cuarto año de su reinado.
And he began to build in the second month, in the fourth year of his reign.
3 Estos son los cimientos que Salomón puso para el edificio de la casa de Dios: la longitud por codos después de la primera medida era de sesenta codos, y la anchura de veinte codos.
Now these are the foundations which Solomon laid for the building of God's house. The length, using the former standard measure, was one hundred three feet and four inches, and the breadth was thirty-four feet and five inches, and its height was fifty-one feet and eight inches.
4 El pórtico que estaba delante, su longitud, a lo ancho de la casa, era de veinte codos, y la altura de ciento veinte; y lo recubrió por dentro con oro puro.
The porch that was in front of the house was the same as the width of the house, thirty-four feet and five inches, and the depth was seventeen feet and three inches; and he overlaid it on the inside with pure gold.
5 Hizo la sala mayor con un techo de madera de ciprés, que recubrió de oro fino, y la adornó con palmeras y cadenas.
The greater house he made a ceiling with fir wood, which he overlaid with fine gold, and ornamented it with palm trees and chains.
6 Decoró la casa con piedras preciosas para embellecerla. El oro era de Parvaim.
He garnished the house with precious stones for beauty: and the gold was gold of Parvaim.
7 También recubrió de oro la casa, las vigas, los umbrales, las paredes y las puertas, y grabó querubines en las paredes.
He overlaid also the house, the beams, the thresholds, and its walls, and its doors, with gold; and engraved cherubim on the walls.
8 Hizo el lugar santísimo. Su longitud, según la anchura de la casa, era de veinte codos, y su anchura de veinte codos; y lo recubrió de oro fino, que ascendía a seiscientos talentos.
He made the most holy house: its length, according to the breadth of the house, was thirty-four feet and five inches, and its breadth thirty-four feet and five inches; and he overlaid it with fine gold, amounting to six hundred talents.
9 El peso de los clavos era de cincuenta siclos de oro. Recubrió de oro las habitaciones superiores.
The weight of the nails was fifty shekels of gold. He overlaid the upper rooms with gold.
10 En el lugar santísimo hizo dos querubines tallados, y los recubrió de oro.
In the most holy house he made two cherubim of sculptured work; and he overlaid them with gold.
11 Las alas de los querubines medían veinte codos; el ala de uno de ellos medía cinco codos y llegaba hasta la pared de la Casa; la otra ala medía cinco codos y llegaba hasta el ala del otro querubín.
The wings of the cherubim were thirty-four feet and five inches: the wing of the one was eight feet and seven inches, reaching to the wall of the house; and the other wing was eight feet and seven inches, reaching to the wing of the other cherub.
12 El ala del otro querubín medía cinco codos y llegaba hasta la pared de la casa; la otra ala medía cinco codos y se unía al ala del otro querubín.
The wing of the other cherub was eight feet and seven inches, reaching to the wall of the house; and the other wing was eight feet and seven inches, joining to the wing of the other cherub.
13 Las alas de estos querubines se extendían veinte codos. Estaban de pie, y sus rostros se dirigían hacia la casa.
The wings of these cherubim were extended thirty-four feet and five inches: and they stood on their feet, and their faces were toward the house.
14 Hizo el velo de azul, púrpura, carmesí y lino fino, y lo adornó con querubines.
He made the veil of blue, and purple, and crimson, and fine linen, and ornamented it with cherubim.
15 También hizo delante de la casa dos columnas de treinta y cinco codos de altura, y el capitel que estaba en la parte superior de cada una de ellas era de cinco codos.
Also he made before the house two pillars sixty feet and three inches high, and the capital that was on the top of each of them was eight feet and seven inches.
16 Hizo cadenas en el santuario interior y las puso en la parte superior de las columnas; hizo cien granadas y las puso en las cadenas.
He made chains in the inner sanctuary, and put them on the tops of the pillars; and he made one hundred pomegranates, and put them on the chains.
17 Colocó las columnas delante del templo, una a la derecha y otra a la izquierda, y llamó al de la derecha Jaquín, y al de la izquierda Boaz.
He set up the pillars before the temple, one on the right hand, and the other on the left; and called the name of that on the right hand Jakin, and the name of that on the left Boaz.
