2 Crónicas 27
1 Jotam tenía veinticinco años cuando comenzó a reinar, y reinó dieciséis años en Jerusalén. Su madre se llamaba Jerusá, hija de Sadoc.
Jotham was twenty-five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Jerushah the daughter of Zadok.
2 Hizo lo que era justo a los ojos de Yahvé, según todo lo que había hecho su padre Uzías. Sin embargo, no entró en el templo de Yahvé. El pueblo seguía actuando de manera corrupta.
And he did that which was right in the eyes of Jehovah, according to all that his father Uzziah had done. However he did not enter into the temple of Jehovah. And the people still did corruptly.
3 Construyó la puerta superior de la casa de Yahvé, y edificó mucho en el muro de Ofel.
He built the upper gate of the house of Jehovah, and on the wall of Ophel he built much.
4 Además, construyó ciudades en la región montañosa de Judá, y en los bosques edificó fortalezas y torres.
Moreover he built cities in the hill-country of Judah, and in the forests he built castles and towers.
5 También luchó con el rey de los hijos de Amón y los venció. Los hijos de Amón le dieron ese mismo año cien talentos de plata, diez mil cors de trigo y diez mil cors de cebada. Los hijos de Amón también le dieron esa cantidad el segundo año y el tercero.
Also he fought with the king of the sons of Ammon, and prevailed against them. And the sons of Ammon gave him the same year a hundred talents of silver, and ten thousand measures of wheat, and ten thousand of barley. So much did the sons of Ammon render to him, in the second year also, and in the third.
6 Así, Jotam se hizo poderoso, porque ordenó sus caminos ante Yahvé, su Dios.
So Jotham became mighty, because he ordered his ways before Jehovah his God.
7 El resto de los hechos de Jotam, todas sus guerras y sus caminos, están escritos en el libro de los reyes de Israel y de Judá.
Now the rest of the acts of Jotham, and all his wars, and his ways, behold, they are written in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah.

He was twenty-five years old when he began to reign, and reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem.
9 Jotam durmió con sus padres, y lo enterraron en la ciudad de David; y su hijo Acaz reinó en su lugar.
And Jotham slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the city of David. And Ahaz his son reigned in his stead.
