1 Salomón estuvo construyendo su propia casa durante trece años, y terminó toda su casa.
Solomon was building his own house thirteen years, and he finished all his house.
2 Pues construyó la Casa del Bosque del Líbano. Su longitud era de cien codos, su anchura de cincuenta codos, y su altura de treinta codos, sobre cuatro hileras de pilares de cedro, con vigas de cedro sobre los pilares.
For he built the house of the forest of Lebanon; its length was one hundred seventy-two feet and three inches, and its breadth eighty-six feet and two inches, and its height fifty-one feet and eight inches, on four rows of cedar pillars, with cedar beams on the pillars.
3 Estaba cubierto de cedro por encima de las cuarenta y cinco vigas que había sobre las columnas, quince en cada fila.
It was covered with cedar above atop the beams which were on the pillars, and the pillars numbered forty-five; fifteen in a row.

There were beams in three rows, and window was over against window in three ranks.

He made the porch of pillars; its length was eighty-six feet and two inches, and its breadth fifty-one feet and eight inches; and a porch before them; and pillars and a threshold before them.
7 Hizo el pórtico del trono donde iba a juzgar, el pórtico del juicio; y estaba cubierto de cedro de piso a piso.
He made the porch of the throne where he was to judge, even the porch of judgment: and it was covered with cedar from floor to rafters.
8 La casa donde iba a habitar, el otro atrio dentro del pórtico, era de la misma construcción. Hizo también una casa para la hija de Faraón (a quien Salomón había tomado por esposa), como este pórtico.
His house where he was to dwell, the other court within the porch, was of the like work. He made also a house for Pharaoh's daughter (whom Solomon had taken as wife), like this porch.
9 Todo esto era de piedras costosas, de piedra cortada a medida, aserrada con sierras, por dentro y por fuera, desde los cimientos hasta la albardilla, y así por fuera hasta el gran patio.
All these were of costly stones, even of cut stone, according to measure, sawed with saws, inside and outside, even from the foundation to the coping, and so on the outside to the great court.
10 Los cimientos eran de piedras costosas, piedras grandes, piedras de diez codos y piedras de ocho codos.
The foundation was of costly stones, even great stones, stones of seventeen feet and three inches, and stones of thirteen feet and nine inches.
11 Encima había piedras costosas, piedras cortadas a medida, y madera de cedro.
Above were costly stones, even cut stone, according to measure, and cedar wood.
12 El gran atrio que lo rodeaba tenía tres hileras de piedra tallada con una hilera de vigas de cedro, como el atrio interior de la casa de Yahvé y el pórtico de la casa.
The great court around had three courses of cut stone, and a course of cedar beams; like as the inner court of the house of YHWH, and the porch of the house.
13 El rey Salomón envió y trajo a Hiram de Tiro.
King Solomon sent and fetched Hiram out of Tyre.
14 Era hijo de una viuda de la tribu de Neftalí, y su padre era un hombre de Tiro, obrero del bronce; y estaba lleno de sabiduría y entendimiento y habilidad para trabajar todas las obras en bronce. Vino al rey Salomón y realizó todo su trabajo.
He was the son of a widow of the tribe of Naphtali, and his father was a man of Tyre, a worker in bronze; and he was filled with wisdom and understanding and skill, to work all works in bronze. He came to king Solomon, and performed all his work.
15 Hizo las dos columnas de bronce, de dieciocho codos de altura cada una, y una línea de doce codos rodeaba cada una de ellas.
For he cast the two pillars of bronze, thirty-one feet was the height of one pillar; and a line of twenty feet and eight inches could encompass the one pillar, and its thickness hollowed out was almost three inches; and so was the second pillar.
16 Hizo dos capiteles de bronce fundido para colocarlos en la parte superior de las columnas. La altura de un capitel era de cinco codos, y la del otro, de cinco codos.
He made two capitals of molten bronze, to set on the tops of the pillars: the height of the one capital was eight feet and seven inches, and the height of the other capital was eight feet and seven inches.

There were nets of checker work, and wreaths of chain work, for the capitals which were on the top of the pillars; seven for the one capital, and seven for the other capital.

So he made the pomegranates, two rows around on the one network, to cover the capitals that were on the top of the pillars; and he did so for the other capital.
19 Los capiteles que estaban en la parte superior de las columnas del pórtico eran de obra de lirio, de cuatro codos.
The capitals that were on the top of the pillars in the porch were of lily work, six feet and eleven inches.
20 También había capiteles encima de las dos columnas, cerca del vientre que estaba junto a la red. Había doscientas granadas en hileras alrededor del otro capitel.
And the capitals were on the two pillars, even above and close to the rounded projection which was beside the network. And there were two hundred pomegranates in rows all around on the capital, and the same around the other capital.
21 Colocó las columnas en el pórtico del templo. Levantó la columna de la derecha y llamó su nombre Jachín; y levantó la columna de la izquierda y llamó su nombre Boaz.
He set up the pillars at the porch of the temple: and he set up the right pillar, and called its name Jakin; and he set up the left pillar, and called its name Boaz.
22 En la parte superior de las columnas había un trabajo de lirios. Así quedó terminada la obra de las columnas.
On the top of the pillars was lily work: so was the work of the pillars finished.
23 Hizo el mar fundido de diez codos de borde a borde, de forma redonda. Su altura era de cinco codos, y lo rodeaba una línea de treinta codos.
He made the molten sea of seventeen feet and three inches from brim to brim, round in compass, and its height was eight feet and seven inches; and a line of fifty-one feet and eight inches encircled it.

Under its brim around there were buds which encircled it, for seventeen feet and three inches, encircling the sea: the buds were in two rows, cast when it was cast.

It stood on twelve oxen, three looking toward the north, and three looking toward the west, and three looking toward the south, and three looking toward the east; and the sea was set on them above, and all their backs were toward the center.
26 Su grosor era de un palmo. Su borde estaba labrado como el borde de una copa, como la flor de un lirio. Tenía capacidad para dos mil baños.
It was almost three inches thick: and its brim was worked like the brim of a cup, like the flower of a lily: it held two thousand baths.
27 Hizo las diez bases de bronce. La longitud de una base era de cuatro codos, su anchura de cuatro codos y su altura de tres codos.
He made the ten bases of bronze; six feet and eleven inches was the length of one base, and six feet and eleven inches its breadth, and five feet and two inches its height.
28 El trabajo de las bases era así: tenían paneles, y había paneles entre las repisas;
The work of the bases was like this: they had panels; and there were panels between the ledges;
29 y en los paneles que estaban entre las repisas había leones, bueyes y querubines; y en las repisas había un pedestal arriba; y debajo de los leones y los bueyes había coronas de obra colgante.
and on the panels that were between the ledges were lions, oxen, and cherubim; and on the ledges there was a pedestal above; and beneath the lions and oxen were wreaths of hanging work.
30 Cada base tenía cuatro ruedas y ejes de bronce, y sus cuatro pies tenían soportes. Los soportes estaban fundidos debajo de la cuenca, con coronas a los lados de cada uno.
Every base had four bronze wheels, and axles of bronze; and the four feet of it had supports: beneath the basin were the supports molten, with wreaths at the side of each.

The mouth of it within the capital and above was twenty-one inches: and its mouth was round after the work of a pedestal, two feet and seven inches; and also on its mouth were engravings, and their panels were foursquare, not round.

The four wheels were underneath the panels; and the axles of the wheels were in the base: and the height of a wheel was two feet and seven inches.

The work of the wheels was like the work of a chariot wheel: their axles, and their rims, and their spokes, and their naves, were all molten.

There were four supports at the four corners of each base: its supports were of the base itself.

In the top of the base was there a round compass ten and a quarter inches high; and on the top of the base its stays and its panels were of the same.
36 En las placas de sus soportes y en sus paneles, grabó querubines, leones y palmeras, cada uno en su espacio, con coronas alrededor.
On the plates of its stays, and on its panels, he engraved cherubim, lions, and palm trees, according to the space of each, with wreaths all around.
37 Hizo las diez basas de esta manera: todas tenían una misma fundición, una misma medida y una misma forma.
In this way, he made the ten bases: all of them had one casting, one measure, and one form.
38 Hizo diez pilas de bronce. Una cuenca contenía cuarenta baños. Cada cuenca medía cuatro codos. Una palangana estaba en cada una de las diez bases.
He made ten basins of bronze: one basin contained forty baths; and every basin was six feet and eleven inches; and on every one of the ten bases one basin.
39 Colocó las bases, cinco a la derecha y cinco a la izquierda de la casa. Puso el mar en el lado derecho de la casa hacia el este y hacia el sur.
He set the bases, five on the right side of the house, and five on the left side of the house: and he set the sea on the right side of the house eastward, toward the south.
40 Hiram hizo las ollas, las palas y las pilas. Así terminó Hiram de hacer toda la obra que trabajó para el rey Salomón en la casa de Yahvé:
Hiram made the pots, and the shovels, and the basins. So Hiram made an end of doing all the work that he worked for king Solomon in the house of YHWH:

the two pillars, and the two bowls of the capitals that were on the top of the pillars; and the two networks to cover the two bowls of the capitals that were on the top of the pillars;

and one sea, and the twelve oxen under the sea;

and the pots, and the shovels, and the basins: even all these vessels, which Hiram made for king Solomon, in the house of YHWH, were of burnished bronze.
46 El rey los fundió en la llanura del Jordán, en la tierra arcillosa entre Sucot y Zaretán.
The king cast them in the plain of the Jordan, in the clay ground between Succoth and Zarethan.
47 Salomón dejó todos los recipientes sin pesar, porque eran muchos. No se pudo determinar el peso del bronce.
Solomon left all the vessels unweighed, because they were exceeding many: the weight of the bronze could not be found out.
48 Salomón hizo todos los utensilios que había en la casa de Yahvé el altar de oro y la mesa sobre la que estaba el pan de la función, de oro;
Solomon made all the vessels that were in the house of YHWH: the golden altar, and the table whereupon the show bread was, of gold;
49 y los candelabros, cinco a la derecha y cinco a la izquierda, delante del santuario interior, de oro puro; y las flores, las lámparas y las pinzas, de oro;
and the lampstands, five on the right side, and five on the left, before the inner sanctuary, of pure gold; and the flowers, and the lamps, and the tongs, of gold;
50 las copas, los apagadores, las jofainas, las cucharas y las sartenes para el fuego, de oro puro; y los goznes, tanto para las puertas de la casa interior, el lugar santísimo, como para las puertas de la casa, del templo, de oro.
and the cups, and the snuffers, and the basins, and the spoons, and the fire pans, of pure gold; and the hinges, both for the doors of the inner house, the most holy place, and for the doors of the house, of the temple, of gold.
51 Asítoda la obra que el rey Salomón hizo en la casa de Yahvé fue terminada. Salomón trajo las cosas que su padre David había dedicado — la plata, el oro y los utensilios — y las puso en los tesoros de la casa de Yahvé.
Thus all the work that Solomon performed in the house of YHWH was finished. Solomon brought in the things which David his father had dedicated, the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, and put them in the treasuries of the house of YHWH.
