1 Crónicas 9
1 Así que todo Israel fue enumerado por genealogías; y he aquí que están escritas en el libro de los reyes de Israel. Judá fue llevado cautivo a Babilonia por su desobediencia.
So all Israel were recorded by their genealogies, and, behold, they are written in the book of the Kings of Israel; but [the men of] Judah were carried away into exile to Babylon for their unfaithfulness.
2 Los primeros habitantes que vivían en sus posesiones, en sus ciudades, eran los israelitas, los sacerdotes, los levitas y los servidores del templo.
And the first inhabitants that [dwelt again] in their possessions in their cities, were the Israelites, the priests, the Levites, and the temple-servants.
3 En Jerusalén vivían de los hijos de Judá, de los hijos de Benjamín y de los hijos de Efraín y Manasés:
And in Jerusalem dwelt some of the children of Judah, and of the children of Benjamin, and of the children of Ephraim, and Menasseh.
4 Utaí hijo de Ammihud, hijo de Omrí, hijo de Imrí, hijo de Baní, de los hijos de Fares hijo de Judá.
'Uthai the son of 'Ammihud, the son of 'Omri, the son of Imri, the son of Bani, of the children of Perez the son of Judah.
5 De los silonitas Asaías el primogénito y sus hijos.
And of the Shilonites: 'Assayah the first-born, and his sons.
6 De los hijos de Zera: Jeuel y sus hermanos, seiscientos noventa.
And of the sons of Zerach: Je'uel, and their brethren, six hundred and ninety.
7 De los hijos de Benjamín: Salú, hijo de Mesulam, hijo de Hodavías, hijo de Hasenúa;
And of the sons of Benjamin: Sallu the son of Meshullam, the son of Hodavyah, the son of Hassenuah,
8 e Ibneías, hijo de Jeroham, y Elá, hijo de Uzi, hijo de Micrí; y Mesulam, hijo de Sefatías, hijo de Reuel, hijo de Ibniá;
And Yibneyah the son of Jerocham, and Elah the son of 'Uzzi, the son of Michri, and Meshullam the son of Shephatyah, the son of Re'uel, the son of Yibniyah;
9 y sus hermanos, según sus generaciones, novecientos cincuenta y seis. Todos estos hombres eran jefes de familia por las casas de sus padres.
And their brethren, according to their generations, nine hundred and fifty and six. All these men were chiefs of the divisions of their family divisions.
10 De los sacerdotes: Jedaías, Joiarib, Jacín,
And of the priests: Jeda'yah, and Jehoyarib, and Jachin.
11 y Azarías hijo de Hilcías, hijo de Mesulam, hijo de Sadoc, hijo de Meraiot, hijo de Ajitub, jefe de la casa de Dios;
And 'Azaryah the son of Chilkiyah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Zadok, the son of Merayoth, the son of Actitub, the ruler of the house of God.
12 y Adaías hijo de Jeroham, hijo de Pashur, hijo de Malquías y Maasai hijo de Adiel, hijo de Jahzerah, hijo de Meshullam, hijo de Meshillemith, hijo de Immer;
And 'Adayah the son of Jerocham, the son of Pashchur, the son of Malkiyah, and Ma'sai the son of 'Adiel, the son of Jachzerah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Meshillemith, the son of Immer:
13 y sus hermanos, jefes de las casas de sus padres, mil setecientos sesenta; eran hombres muy capaces para la obra del servicio de la casa de Dios.
And their brethren, chiefs of their family divisions, were one thousand and seven hundred and sixty, very able men for the work of the service of the house of God.
14 De los levitas Semaías hijo de Hasub, hijo de Azricam, hijo de Hasabías, de los hijos de Merari;
And of the Levites: Shema'yah the son of Chasshub, the son of 'Azrikam, the son of Chashabyah, of the sons of Merari;
15 y Bacbacar, Heres, Galal y Mattanías hijo de Mica, hijo de Zicri, hijo de Asaf,
And Bakbakkar, Cheresh, and Galal, and Matthanyah the son of Micha, the son of Zichri, the son of Assaph;
16 y Abdías hijo de Semaías, hijo de Galal, hijo de Jedutún; y Berequías hijo de Asá, hijo de Elcana, que vivían en las aldeas de los netofatitas.
And 'Obadiah the son of Shema'yah, the son of Galal, the son of Jeduthun; and Berechyah the son of Assa, the son of Elkanah, that dwelt in the villages of the Netophathites.
17 Los porteros: Salum, Acub, Talmón, Ahimán y sus hermanos (Salum era el jefe),
And the gatekeepers were Shallum, and 'Akkub, and Talmon, and Achiman, and their brethren, Shallum being the chief;
18 que antes servían en la puerta del rey hacia el este. Eran los porteros del campamento de los hijos de Leví.
And up to this time they are in the king's gate to the eastward: they are the gatekeepers for the camps of the children of Levi.
19 Salum era hijo de Coré, hijo de Ebiasaf, hijo de Coré, y sus hermanos, de la casa de su padre, los corasitas, estaban a cargo del trabajo del servicio, guardianes de los umbrales de la tienda. Sus padres habían estado sobre el campamento de Yahvé, guardianes de la entrada.
And Shallum the son of Kore, the son of Ebyassaph, the son of Korach, and his brethren, of the house of his father, the Korchites, being over the work of the service, were the watchmen at the threshold of the tabernacle: and their fathers, being over the camp of the Lord, were the watchmen at the entrance [thereof].
20 Finees, hijo de Eleazar, era el jefe de ellos en el pasado, y el Señor estaba con él.
And Phinehas the son of El'azar was the ruler over them in times past; [and] the Lord was with him.
21 Zacarías, hijo de Meselemías, era el guardián de la puerta de la Tienda del Encuentro.
[And] Zechariah the son of Meshelemyah was gatekeeper at the entrance of the tabernacle of the congregation.
22 Todos estos que fueron elegidos para ser porteros en los umbrales fueron doscientos doce. Estos fueron listados por genealogía en sus pueblos, a quienes David y Samuel el vidente ordenaron en su cargo de confianza.
All of these selected to be gatekeepers at the thresholds were two hundred and twelve. These were recorded according to their genealogy in their villages; [and they were] those [whom] David and Samuel the seer did ordain in their trust.
23 Ellos y sus hijos tenían la vigilancia de las puertas de la casa de Yahvé, la casa de la tienda, como guardianes.
Both they and their children had the oversight over the gates of the house of the Lord, [namely, ] the house of the tabernacle, as watches.
24 En los cuatro lados estaban los guardianes de las puertas, hacia el este, el oeste, el norte y el sur.
On four quarters were the gatekeepers, toward the east, the west, the north, and the south.
25 Sus hermanos, en sus aldeas, debían entrar cada siete días para estar con ellos,
And their brethren, who were in their villages, had to come after every seven days from time to time in common with these.
26 porque los cuatro principales porteros, que eran levitas, tenían un cargo de confianza y estaban a cargo de las habitaciones y de los tesoros en la casa de Dios.
For in [their] trust were these four chief gatekeepers— these Levites, and they were [appointed] over the chambers and treasuries of the house of God.
27 Ellos permanecían alrededor de la casa de Dios, porque ese era su deber; y era su deber abrirla de mañana en mañana.
And they lodged round about the house of God; because upon them rested the duty of watching, and they had the supervision of the opening thereof each and every morning.
28 Algunos de ellos estaban a cargo de los utensilios del servicio, pues éstos se traían por cuenta, y éstos se sacaban por cuenta.
And some of them had the charge of the vessels for the service; for by number did they bring them in, and by number did they carry them out.
29 Algunos de ellos también estaban encargados de los muebles y de todos los utensilios del santuario, de la harina fina, del vino, del aceite, del incienso y de las especias.
Some of them also were appointed over the vessels, and over all the vessels of the sanctuary, and over the fine flour, and the wine, and the oil, and the frankincense, and the spices.
30 Algunos de los hijos de los sacerdotes preparaban la mezcla de las especias.
And some of the sons of the priests prepared the mixture of the spices.
31 Matatías, uno de los levitas, que era primogénito de Salum el coreíta, tenía el cargo de confianza sobre las cosas que se cocían en las ollas.
And Matthithyah, one of the Levites, who was the first-born of Shallum the Korchite, had the trust over the meat-offerings that were baked in the pans.
32 Algunos de sus hermanos, de los hijos de los coatitas, estaban sobre el pan de la feria, para prepararlo cada sábado.
And others of their brethren, of the sons of the Kehathites, were over the orders of the shew-bread, to prepare it every sabbath.
33 Estos son los cantores, jefes de familia de los levitas, que vivían en las habitaciones y estaban libres de cualquier otro servicio, pues se empleaban en su trabajo de día y de noche.
But these the singers, the chiefs of the divisions of the Levites, remained in the chambers free of service; for day and night were they obliged to engage in that work.
34 Estos eran jefes de familia de los levitas, por sus generaciones, hombres principales. Vivían en Jerusalén.
These are the chiefs of the divisions of the Levites, being the chiefs for their generations: these dwelt at Jerusalem.
35 Jeiel, padre de Gabaón, cuya mujer se llamaba Maaca, vivía en Gabaón.
And in Gib'on dwelt the father of Gib'on, Je'iel; and the name of his wife was Ma'achah;
36 Su hijo primogénito fue Abdón, luego Zur, Cis, Baal, Ner, Nadab,
And his first-born son was 'Abdon, then Zur, and Kish, and Ba'al, and Ner, and Nadab,
37 Gedor, Ahio, Zacarías y Miklot.
And Gedor, and Achyo, and Zechariah, and Mikloth.
38 Mikloth fue el padre de Shimeam. Ellos también vivieron con sus parientes en Jerusalén, cerca de sus parientes.
And Mikloth begat Shimam. And they also dwelt alongside of their brethren at Jerusalem, with their brethren.
39 Ner fue el padre de Cis. Cis fue el padre de Saúl. Saúl fue el padre de Jonatán, Malquisúa, Abinadab y Eshbaal.
And Ner begat Kish; and Kish begat Saul; and Saul begat Jehonathan, and Malki-shua', and Abinadab, and Eshba'al.
40 El hijo de Jonatán fue Merib-baal. Merib-baal fue el padre de Miqueas.
And the son of Jehonathan was Merib-ba'al: and Merib-ba'al begat Michah.
41 Los hijos de Miqueas: Pitón, Melec, Tahrea y Acaz.
And the sons of Michah were, Pithon, and Melech, and Thachrea'.
42 Acaz fue el padre de Jarah. Jarah fue el padre de Alemeth, Azmaveth y Zimri. Zimri fue el padre de Moza.
And Achaz begat Ja'rah; and Ja'rah begat 'Alemeth, 'Azmaveth, and Zimri; and Zimri begat Moza;
43 Moza fue padre de Binea, de su hijo Refaías, de su hijo Eleasá y de su hijo Azel.
And Moza begat Bin'a; ! and Rephayah his son, El'assah his son, Azel his son.
44 Azel tuvo seis hijos, cuyos nombres son Azrikam, Boquerú, Ismael, Searías, Obadías y Hanán. Estos fueron los hijos de Azel.
And Azel had six sons, and these are their names, 'Azrikam, Bocheru, and Ishmael, and She'aryah, and 'Obadiah, and Chanan: these were the sons of Azel.
