1 Crónicas 7
1 De los hijos de Isacar: Tola, Puah, Jasub y Simrón, cuatro.
Issachar’s four sons were Tola, Puah, Jashub, and Shimron.
2 Los hijos de Tola: Uzzi, Refaías, Jeriel, Jahmai, Ibsam y Semuel, jefes de las casas paternas de Tola; hombres valientes en sus generaciones. Su número en los días de David era de veintidós mil seiscientos.
Tola’s sons were Uzzi, Rephaiah, Jeriel, Jahmai, Ibsam, and Samuel (OR, Shemuel). They were all leaders of the clans [descended from] them. In the record of Tola’s descendants were the names of 22,600 men who served in the army during the time that David was the king [of Israel].
3 El hijo de Uzí: Izrahías. Los hijos de Izrahía: Miguel, Obadías, Joel e Isías, cinco; todos ellos hombres principales.
Uzzi’s son was Izrahiah. Izrahiah’s five sons were Michael, Obadiah, Joel, and Isshiah. Izrahiah and his sons were all leaders of their clans.
4 Con ellos, por sus generaciones, según las casas de sus padres, había grupos del ejército para la guerra, treinta y seis mil; porque tenían muchas mujeres e hijos.
In the record of Izrahiah’s descendants were the names of 36,000 men who served in the army because they had many wives and children.
5 Sus hermanos de todas las familias de Isacar, hombres valientes, enumerados en su totalidad por genealogía, eran ochenta y siete mil.
In the records of the clans descended from Issachar were the names of 87,000 men who served in the army.
6 Los hijos de Benjamín: Bela, Becher y Jediael, tres.
[Some of the] sons of Benjamin were Bela, Beker, and Jediael.
7 Los hijos de Bela: Ezbón, Uzí, Uziel, Jerimot e Iri, cinco; jefes de familia, hombres valientes; y fueron enumerados por genealogía veintidós mil treinta y cuatro.
Bela’s five sons were Ezbon, Uzzi, Uzziel, Jerimoth, and Iri. They were all leaders of clans. In the records of the clans descended from Bela there were names of 22,034 men who served in the army.
8 Los hijos de Becher: Zemira, Joás, Eliezer, Elioenai, Omrí, Jeremot, Abías, Anatot y Alemet. Todos estos fueron los hijos de Becher.
Beker’s sons were Zemirah, Joash, Eliezer, Elioenai, Omri, Jeremoth, Abijah, Anathoth, and Alemeth.
9 Fueron listados por genealogía, según sus generaciones, jefes de las casas de sus padres, hombres valientes, veinte mil doscientos.
In the records of the clans descended from Beker were the names of 20,200 men and leaders of the clans who served in the army.
10 El hijo de Jediael: Bilhán. Los hijos de Bilhán: Jeús, Benjamín, Ehud, Quená, Zetán, Tarsis y Ahishahar.
Jediael’s son was Bilhan. Bilhan’s sons were Jeush, Benjamin, Ehud, Kenaanah, Zethan, Tarshish, and Ahishahar.
11 Todos estos fueron hijos de Jediael, según los jefes de familia de sus padres, hombres valientes, diecisiete mil doscientos, capaces de salir en el ejército para la guerra.
They were all leaders of clans descended from them. There were 17,200 of them who served in the army.
12 También estaban Suppim, Huppim, los hijos de Ir, Husim y los hijos de Aher.
Shuppim and Huppim were descendants of Ir. [One of] the descendants of Aher was Hushim.
13 Los hijos de Neftalí: Jahziel, Guni, Jezer, Salum y los hijos de Bilhá.
Naphtali’s sons were Jahziel, Guni, Jezer, and Shillem. They were all descendants of [Jacob’s slave wife] Bilhah.
14 Los hijos de Manasés: Asriel, a quien dio a luz su concubina la aramea. Ella dio a luz a Maquir, padre de Galaad.
[This is a list of] Manasseh’s descendants. Manasseh had a slave wife who was from Syria. She was the mother of Asriel and Makir. Makir was the father of Gilead.
15 Maquir tomó una esposa de Huppim y Suppim, cuya hermana se llamaba Maaca. El nombre de la segunda era Zelofehad; y Zelofehad tuvo hijas.
Makir [had two wives]. They were from the clans of Huppim and Shuppim. One of Makir’s wives was named Maacah. Another descendant [of Makir] was Zelophehad. Zelophehad [had no sons; he] had only daughters.
16 Maaca, la mujer de Maquir, dio a luz un hijo, al que llamó Peres. El nombre de su hermano fue Sheres, y sus hijos fueron Ulam y Rakem.
Makir’s wife Maacah gave birth to two sons whom she named Peresh and Sheresh. Sheresh’s sons were Ulam and Rakem.
17 Los hijos de Ulam: Bedán. Estos fueron los hijos de Galaad, hijo de Maquir, hijo de Manasés.
Ulam’s son was Bedan. All those [men were considered to be] descendants of Gilead, who was the son of Makir and grandson of Manasseh.
18 Su hermana Hamolecet dio a luz a Ishod, Abiezer y Mahá.
Makir’s sister name was Hammoleketh who was the mother of Ishdod, Abiezer, and Mahlah.
19 Los hijos de Semida fueron Ahian, Siquem, Likhi y Aniam.
[One son of Gilead was] Shemida, whose sons were Ahian, Shechem, Likhi, and Aniam.
20 Los hijos de Efraín: Sutela, Bered su hijo, Tahat su hijo, Eleada su hijo, Tahat su hijo,
[This is a list of] the descendants of Ephraim. One son of Ephraim’s was Shuthelah. Shuthelah’s son was Bered. Bered’s son was Tahath. Tahath’s son was Eleadah. Eleadah’s son was [also named] Tahath.
21 Zabad su hijo, Sutela su hijo, Ezer y Elead, a quienes mataron los hombres de Gat que habían nacido en el país, porque bajaron a quitarles el ganado.
Tahath’s son was Zabad. Zabad’s son was Shuthelah. [Ephraim’s other sons, ] Ezer and Elead, went to Gath [city] to steal some cows and sheep. But they were both killed by some of the men from that city.

Their father Ephraim cried/mourned for them for many days, and his family came to comfort him.

Then he and his wife had sex [EUP] [again], and she became pregnant and gave birth to a son. Ephraim named him Beriah [which resembles the word ‘trouble’, ] because of the trouble that his family had experienced.

Ephraim’s daughter was Sheerah. Her workers built [three towns]: Lower Beth-Horon, Upper Beth-Horon, and Uzzen-Sheerah.

[Another] son of Ephraim was Rephah. Rephah’s son was Resheph. Resheph’s son was Telah. Telah’s son was Tahan.
26 Su hijo Ladán, su hijo Ammihud, su hijo Elishama,
Tahan’s son was Ladan. Ladan’s son was Ammihud. Ammihud’s son was Elishama.
27 Su hijo Nun, y su hijo Josué.
Elishama’s son was Nun. Nun’s son was Joshua, [the man who led the Israelis after Moses died].
28 Sus posesiones y asentamientos fueron Betel y sus poblaciones, al este Naarán, y al oeste Gezer con sus poblaciones; también Siquem y sus poblaciones, hasta Azza y sus poblaciones;
[This is a list of] the cities and areas where the descendants of Ephraim lived: Bethel and the nearby villages; Naaran to the east; Gezer to the west and the nearby villages; and Shechem and the nearby villages. Those villages extended [north] as far as Ayyah and the nearby villages.
29 y por los límites de los hijos de Manasés, Bet Sheán y sus poblaciones, Taanac y sus poblaciones, Meguido y sus poblaciones, y Dor y sus poblaciones. En ellas vivieron los hijos de José, hijo de Israel.
Along the border of the area where the descendants of Manasseh lived were these towns: Beth-Shan, Taanach, Megiddo, and Dor, and the nearby villages. The people who lived in all those places were descendants of Jacob’s son Joseph.
30 Los hijos de Aser: Imnah, Ishvah, Ishvi y Beriah. Serah era su hermana.
Asher’s sons were Imnah, Ishvah, Ishvi, and Beriah. Their sister was Serah.
31 Los hijos de Beriá: Heber y Malquiel, que fue el padre de Birzait.
Beriah’s sons were Heber and Malkiel. Malkiel was the father of Birzaith
32 Heber fue el padre de Jafet, de Shomer, de Hotham y de su hermana Shua.
Heber was the father of Japhlet, Shomer, and Hotham. Their sister was Shua.

Shomer’s [younger] brother was Hotham (OR, Helem). Hotham’s sons were Zophah, Imna, Shelesh, and Amal.

Zophah’s sons were Suah, Harnepher, Shual, Beri, Imrah,
37 Bezer, Hod, Shamma, Shilshah, Ithran y Beera.
Bezer, Hod, Shamma, Shilshah, Ithran [whose other name was Jether], and Beera.
38 Los hijos de Jeter: Jephunneh, Pispa y Ara.
Jether’s sons were Jephunneh, Pispah, and Ara.
39 Los hijos de Ulla: Ara, Hanniel y Rizia.
[Another descendant of Asher was] Ulla, whose sons were Arah, Hanniel, and Rizia.

All those men were descendants of Asher, and they were all leaders of their clans. They were brave warriors and excellent leaders. In the record of the clans that are descended from Asher are [the names of] 26,000 men who served in the army.
