1 Crónicas 25

1 Además, David y los capitanes del ejército apartaron para el servicio a algunos de los hijos de Asaf, de Hemán y de Jedutún, que debían profetizar con arpas, con instrumentos de cuerda y con címbalos. El número de los que hicieron la obra según su servicio fue:

And David and the heads of the host separate for service, of the sons of Asaph, and Heman, and Jeduthun, who are prophesying with harps, with psalteries, and with cymbals; and the number of the workmen is according to their service.

2 de los hijos de Asaf: Zaccur, José, Netanías y Asarela. Los hijos de Asaf estaban bajo la mano de Asaf, quien profetizaba por orden del rey.

Of sons of Asaph: Zaccur, and Joseph, and Nethaniah, and Asharelah; sons of Asaph [are] by the side of Asaph, who is prophesying by the side of the king.

3 De Jedutún, los hijos de Jedutún: Gedalías, Zeri, Jesaías, Simei, Hasabías y Matatías, seis, bajo la mano de su padre Jedutún, que profetizaban dando gracias y alabando a Yahvé con el arpa.

Of Jeduthun, sons of Jeduthun: Gedaliah, and Zeri, and Jeshaiah, [and Shimei, and] Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, six, by the side of their father Jeduthun; he is prophesying with a harp, for giving of thanks and of praise for YHWH.

4 De Hemán, los hijos de Hemán: Buquías, Matanías, Uziel, Sebuel, Jerimot, Hananías, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, Romamti-Ezer, Josbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir y Mahazioth.

Of Heman, sons of Heman: Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, and Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, and Romamti-Ezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, Mahazioth;

5 Todos estos fueron los hijos de Hemán, el vidente del rey, en las palabras de Dios, para levantar el cuerno. Dios le dio a Hemán catorce hijos y tres hijas.

all these [are] sons of Heman, seer of the king in the things of God, to lift up a horn; and God gives fourteen sons and three daughters to Heman.

6 Todos ellos estaban bajo las manos de su padre para cantar en la casa de Yahvé, con címbalos, instrumentos de cuerda y arpas, para el servicio de la casa de Dios: Asaf, Jedutún y Hemán estaban bajo la orden del rey.

All these [are] by the side of their father in the song of the house of YHWH, with cymbals, psalteries, and harps, for the service of the house of God; by the side of the king [are] Asaph, and Jeduthun, and Heman.

7 El número de ellos, con sus hermanos instruidos en el canto a Yahvé, todos los que eran hábiles, era de doscientos ochenta y ocho.

And their number, with their brothers taught in the song of YHWH—all who are intelligent—[is] two hundred and eighty-eight.

8 Echaron suertes para sus cargos, todos por igual, tanto el pequeño como el grande, tanto el maestro como el alumno.

And they cause lots to fall, charge next to [charge], the small as well as the great, the intelligent with the learner.

9 La primera suerte le tocó a Asaf, a José; la segunda a Gedalías, él y sus hermanos e hijos, doce;

And the first lot goes out for Asaph to Joseph; the second, Gedaliah—him, and his brothers and his sons—twelve;

10 la tercera a Zacur, sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;

the third, Zaccur, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

11 la cuarta a Izri, sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;

the fourth to Izri, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

12 la quinta a Netanías, sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;

the fifth, Nethaniah, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

13 la sexta a Bucías, sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;

the sixth, Bukkiah, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

14 la séptima a Jesharela, sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;

the seventh, Jesharelah, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

15 la octava a Jesaías, sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;

the eighth, Jeshaiah, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

16 la novena a Matanías, sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;

the ninth, Mattaniah, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

17 la décima a Simei, sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;

the tenth, Shimei, his sons and his brothers—twelve:

18 la undécima a Azarel, sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;

eleventh, Azareel, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

19 la duodécima a Hasabías, sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;

the twelfth to Hashabiah, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

20 la decimotercera a Subael, sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;

for the thirteenth, Shubael, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

21 el decimocuarto, a Mattithiah, sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;

for the fourteenth, Mattithiah, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

22 el decimoquinto, a Jeremoth, sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;

for the fifteenth to Jeremoth, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

23 el decimosexto, a Hananiah, sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;

the sixteenth to Hananiah, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

24 el decimoséptimo, a Joshbekashah, sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;

the seventeenth to Joshbekashah, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

25 el decimoctavo, a Hanani, sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;

the eighteenth to Hanani, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

26 el decimonoveno, a Mallothi, sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;

the nineteenth to Mallothi, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

27 por el vigésimo a Eliathah, sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;

the twentieth to Eliathah, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

28 por el vigésimo primero a Hothir, sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;

the twenty-first to Hothir, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

29 por el vigésimo segundo a Giddalti, sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;

the twenty-second to Giddalti, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

30 por el vigésimo tercero a Mahazioth, sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;

the twenty-third to Mahazioth, his sons and his brothers—twelve;

31 por el vigésimo cuarto a Romamti-Ezer, sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce.
