1 Crónicas 16
1 Trajeron el arca de Dios y la pusieron en medio de la tienda que David había levantado para ella; y ofrecieron holocaustos y ofrendas de paz ante Dios.
And they bring in the ark of God, and set it up in the midst of the tent that David hath stretched out for it, and they bring near burnt-offerings and peace-offerings before God;
2 Cuando David terminó de ofrecer el holocausto y las ofrendas de paz, bendijo al pueblo en nombre de Yahvé.
and David ceaseth from offering the burnt-offering and the peace-offerings, and blesseth the people in the name of Jehovah,
3 Dio a todos los israelíes, hombres y mujeres, a cada uno una hogaza de pan, una porción de carne y una torta de pasas.
and giveth a portion to every man of Israel, both man and woman: to each a cake of bread, and a measure of wine, and a grape-cake.
4 Nombró a algunos de los levitas para que sirvieran ante el arca de Yahvé, y para que conmemoraran, dieran gracias y alabaran a Yahvé, el Dios de Israel:
And he putteth before the ark of Jehovah, of the Levites, ministers, even to make mention of, and to thank, and to give praise to Jehovah, God of Israel,
5 Asaf, el principal, y tras él Zacarías, luego Jeiel, Semiramot, Jehiel, Mattithiah, Eliab, Benaiah, Obed-Edom y Jeiel, con instrumentos de cuerda y con arpas; y Asaf con címbalos, tocando en voz alta;
Asaph the head, and his second Zechariah; Jeiel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Mattithiah, and Eliab, and Benaiah, and Obed-Edom, and Jeiel, with instruments of psalteries, and with harps; and Asaph with cymbals is sounding;
6 con Benaiah y Jahaziel, los sacerdotes, con trompetas continuamente, ante el arca de la alianza de Dios.
and Benaiah and Jahaziel the priests [are] with trumpets continually before the ark of the covenant of God.
7 Aquel día, David ordenó por primera vez dar gracias a Yahvé de la mano de Asaf y sus hermanos.
On that day then hath David given at the beginning to give thanks to Jehovah by the hand of Asaph and his brethren: —
8 Dad gracias a Yahvé. Invoca su nombre. Haz que lo que ha hecho se conozca entre los pueblos.
Give thanks to Jehovah, call in His name, Make known among the peoples His doings.
9 Cántale. Cántale alabanzas. Cuenta todas sus maravillosas obras.
Sing ye to Him, sing psalms to Him, Meditate on all His wonders.
10 Gloria a su santo nombre. Que se alegre el corazón de los que buscan a Yahvé.
Boast yourselves in His holy name, Rejoice doth the heart of those seeking Jehovah.
11 Busca a Yahvé y su fuerza. Busca su rostro para siempre.
Seek ye Jehovah and His strength, Seek His face continually.
12 Acuérdate de las maravillas que ha hecho, sus maravillas, y los juicios de su boca,
Remember His wonders that He did, His signs, and the judgments of His mouth,
13 tú, descendiente de Israel, su siervo, vosotros, hijos de Jacob, sus elegidos.
O seed of Israel, His servant, O sons of Jacob, His chosen ones!
14 Él es Yahvé, nuestro Dios. Sus juicios están en toda la tierra.
He [is] Jehovah our God, In all the earth [are] His judgments.
15 Recuerda su pacto para siempre, la palabra que ordenó a mil generaciones,
Remember ye to the age His covenant, The word He commanded — To a thousand generations,
16 el pacto que hizo con Abraham, su juramento a Isaac.
Which He hath made with Abraham, And His oath — to Isaac,
17 Se lo confirmó a Jacob por un estatuto, y a Israel por un pacto eterno,
And He establisheth it to Jacob for a statute, To Israel — a covenant age-during.
18 diciendo: “Te daré la tierra de Canaán, El lote de tu herencia”.
Saying: To thee I give the land of Canaan, The portion of your inheritance,
19 cuando no erais más que unos pocos hombres, sí, muy pocos, y extranjeros en ella.
When ye are few of number, As a little thing, and sojourners in it.
20 Iban de nación en nación, de un reino a otro pueblo.
And they go up and down, From nation unto nation, And from a kingdom unto another people.
21 No permitió que nadie les hiciera mal. Sí, reprendió a los reyes por su bien,
He hath not suffered any to oppress them, And reproveth on their account kings:
22 “¡No toquen a mis ungidos! No hagas daño a mis profetas”.
Come not against Mine anointed ones, And against My prophets do not evil.
23 ¡Cantad a Yahvé, toda la tierra! Mostrar su salvación de día en día.
Sing to Jehovah, all the earth, Proclaim from day unto day His salvation.
24 Anuncia su gloria entre las naciones, y sus obras maravillosas entre todos los pueblos.
Rehearse among nations His glory, Among all the peoples His wonders.
25 Porque grande es Yahvé, y muy digno de alabanza. También debe ser temido por encima de todos los dioses.
For great [is] Jehovah, and praised greatly, And fearful He [is] above all gods.
26 Porque todos los dioses de los pueblos son ídolos, pero Yahvé hizo los cielos.
For all gods of the peoples [are] nought, And Jehovah the heavens hath made.
27 El honor y la majestad están ante él. La fuerza y la alegría están en su lugar.
Honour and majesty [are] before Him, Strength and joy [are] in His place.
28 Atribuid a Yahvé, familias de los pueblos, ¡atribuir a Yahvé la gloria y la fuerza!
Ascribe to Jehovah, ye families of peoples, Ascribe to Jehovah honour and strength.
29 Atribuid a Yahvé la gloria debida a su nombre. Trae una ofrenda y preséntate ante él. Adoren a Yahvé en forma sagrada.
Ascribe to Jehovah the honour of His name, Lift up a present, and come before Him. Bow yourselves to Jehovah, In the beauty of holiness.
30 Temblad ante él, toda la tierra. El mundo también está establecido que no se puede mover.
Be pained before Him, all the earth:
31 Que se alegren los cielos, ¡y que la tierra se alegre! Que digan entre las naciones: “¡Yahvé reina!”
Also, established is the world, It is not moved! The heavens rejoice, and the earth is glad, And they say among nations: Jehovah hath reigned.
32 ¡Que ruja el mar y su plenitud! ¡Que el campo se regocije, y todo lo que hay en él!
Roar doth the sea, and its fulness, Exult doth the field, and all that [is] in it,
33 Entonces los árboles del bosque cantarán de alegría ante Yahvé, porque viene a juzgar la tierra.
Then sing do trees of the forest, From the presence of Jehovah, For He hath come to judge the earth!
34 Dad gracias a Yahvé, porque es bueno, porque su bondad es eterna.
Give thanks to Jehovah, for good, For to the age, [is] His kindness,
35 Di: “¡Sálvanos, Dios de nuestra salvación! Reúnenos y líbranos de las naciones, para dar gracias a tu santo nombre, para triunfar en tu alabanza”.
And say, Save us, O God of our salvation, And gather us, and deliver us from the nations, To give thanks to Thy holy name, To triumph in Thy praise.
36 Bendito sea Yahvé, el Dios de Israel, desde la eternidad hasta la eternidad. Todo el pueblo dijo: “Amén”, y alabó a Yahvé.
Blessed [is] Jehovah, God of Israel, From the age and unto the age;' And all the people say, 'Amen,' and have given praise to Jehovah.
37 Dejó allí a Asaf y a sus hermanos, delante del arca de la alianza de Yahvé, para que sirvieran continuamente delante del arca, según el trabajo de cada día;
And he leaveth there before the ark of the covenant of Jehovah, for Asaph and for his brethren, to minister before the ark continually, according to the matter of a day in its day,
38 y a Obed-Edom con sus sesenta y ocho parientes; a Obed-Edom también, hijo de Jedutún, y a Hosa para que fueran porteros;
both Obed-Edom and their brethren, sixty and eight, and Obed-Edom son of Jeduthun, and Hosah for gatekeepers,
39 y el sacerdote Sadoc y sus hermanos sacerdotes, ante el tabernáculo de Yahvé en el lugar alto que estaba en Gabaón,
and Zadok the priest, and his brethren the priests, before the tabernacle of Jehovah, in a high place that [is] in Gibeon,
40 para ofrecer holocaustos a Yahvé en el altar de los holocaustos continuamente por la mañana y por la tarde, conforme a todo lo que está escrito en la ley de Yahvé, que él ordenó a Israel;
to cause to ascend burnt-offerings to Jehovah, on the altar of burnt-offering continually, morning and evening, and for all that is written in the law of Jehovah, that He charged on Israel.
41 y con ellos Hemán y Jedutún y los demás elegidos, mencionados por su nombre, para dar gracias a Yahvé, porque es eterna su misericordia;
And with them [are] Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest of those chosen, who were defined by name, to give thanks to Jehovah, for to the age [is] His kindness,
42 y con ellos Hemán y Jedutún con trompetas y címbalos para los que debían tocar en voz alta, y con instrumentos para los cánticos de Dios, y los hijos de Jedutún para estar en la puerta.
and with them — Heman and Jeduthun — [are] trumpets and cymbals for those sounding, and instruments of the song of God, and the sons of Jeduthun [are] at the gate.
43 Todo el pueblo se fue, cada uno a su casa; y David volvió a bendecir su casa.
And all the people go, each to his house, and David turneth round to bless his house.
